Galgorm

We got upgraded to a deluxe room overlooking the thermal village. It was such a lovely room. Mini Bar included was unreal as this was the first hotel that we have stayed in that the mini bar was included. The thermal Village was unreal. Very big with loads of different areas with pools etc. The Gillies restaurant for both breakfast and evening meal. We really enjoyed our back massage. The private hot tub experience was unreal by the river, really enjoyed it with the bottle of champayne highly recommend.

In Gillies we got charged for water with our dinner and the table next to us got offered tap water. The fact that you get charged for ice in the room

Beautiful room and over stay to be very let down after departure.

Leaving the room I left a few items behind, a Loui Vuitton purse which was kindly handed in. I also left a brand new bottle or Armani code Perfume which cost £88, this unfortunately wasnt handed in by the house keeping.. this has changed my opinion on the hotel as I am very upset that this was not returned to myself. Especially after the money we spent I know the hotel.

The property was clean and beautiful. The beds where so comfy and the room very spacious with a good view of the spa. The grounds itself are extremely well kept and the facilities are really clean- which would be hard considering how many there is. The staff are a credit to the hotel, I could not be more impressed by them. Our room was 15/20 mins late to be ready and they gave an extended check out and a voucher for the meal. This was above anything expected because the hotel was busy and therefore a small wait was to be expected. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and professional.

The little cottage is stunning and fully equipped. It’s a nice touch having a few drinks and snacks. The bed was the biggest and comfiest bed we have ever slept in- literally like sleeping on a cloud! The spa is great and even when things weren’t working, they were fixed very quickly by staff. We will definitely be returning and staying a bit longer to make proper use of the cottage. Rather than going to a restaurant, we rang and ordered take out from the pizza restaurant and it was delicious. Breakfast was great too- so much to choose from!

Building works outside our bedroom window started quite early, which was a shame. But didn’t spoil our stay.

1st Anniversary celebration, Shepard Huts cute, loved the cooper bath outdoors, and fire pit. Breakfast great, lovely conservatory setting on river. Staff are excellent, good vibe all round. Spa facilities super. You can't beat the river side setting, floating in thermal bath - beautiful. We took family to the Golf Course Castle Grill - great chefs.

Lunch facilities' weren't what I'd expect for 4 star resort. Shephard huts bit far from main hotel building but staff pick up up and drop off quickly. Pricing was high for size of hut.

Almost everything except the quality of spa treatment and construction work in the morning across my cottage

After booking my cottage, i have been informed that there is no spa booking available for the date I stay. The reason I booked it because I need relaxation. After I contacted the team, they got my request in waiting list. I was lucky they offered me spa in the end but I did not like spa massage. They should have hired people to make massage preferably from far east. Because they are expert of doing massage. They said there is huge demand for massage. They should hire more people to answer that demand. Additionally I woke up in the morning at 8 o'clock with construction disturbance. They were building new cottages. In that case they should not taken any reservations during construction. I did not have to wake up in the morning with construction across my cottage.

Attending a wedding in the phantom house which was beautiful followed by reception in Renaissance suite again beautiful. The spa facilities great just very busy and didn't get to use what I wanted. Stayed in the self catering cottage which was fab. Had everything you needed and more clean and comfortable. Good shower which is always a bonus...

Gentleman doing the seating for breakfast was impatient and a little rude, also noticed him doing it to other guests. Maybe he was having a bad day.... 🤦... Prices at the bar!!!! 😱

What an experience Galgorm was from beginning to the end! We booked the cottage suites as the main hotel was fully booked. Cottage was super clean and ideally located near the spa village. Restaurant was booked out in the main hotel ( advise you pre-book) but nonetheless, they accommodated us in Galgorm Castle, which is about 10 mins of a drive. They also provide transport to and from this venue. Everything about this experience was just magical- just wished I had booked in to stay a 2nd night

Galgorm is amazing, the cottages are really comfy and functional. Bed is very comfortable and everything in the cottage is finished to a high standard. The thermal village is by far the best spa I’ve ever been to. There are so many different parts to it and the whole atmosphere is so calm and relaxing. Breakfast is good and there is plenty of variety to choose from. Overall this is the best hotel/resort that I have ever been to and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We had a fantastic day & night the cottage was amazing!! the staff are so nice l especially Maurice on the front of house 🥰

The electric car charger on site is broke the one in the castle is gone, most in town is either broken or people leave their cars there all day & go home because it’s free in Northern Ireland, Nightmare trying to find one, eventually got one after queuing for hours in an Apple green garage, charged the car for 1 hour we got back to Dublin after 11pm .
