A beautiful exceptional farmhouse in a lovely location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had a lovely view from my bedroom window watching the horses in the courtyard and I loved the countryside setting of the house. The bathroom and bedroom were both immaculately clean. Having stayed in many hotels and guesthouses all over the world over the years, I can honestly say without question I have never slept in a more comfortable bed! I stayed with my dog who was also made to feel very welcome. The host Primrose prepared a special treat for him at breakfast and my own breakfast was also just delicious too. The only thing that made me sad about the house was having to leave it. I hope I have another opportunity to stay here again as it is a beautiful pet friendly countryside house with a host who cares greatly about giving her guests a wonderful experience.

The bed might have been the most comfy hotel bed we've ever slept in. The room was lovely and clean. The location was remote but that is what we were looking for after a few days in Belfast. The hosts were very friendly and helpful as we had some good chats at breakfast and they recommended the local restaurant when we checked in. The breakfast was very nice and I loved the huge cafetiere full of coffee. It was very amusing watching the horses and dogs running around the property. We had a very nice stay.

There wasn't an ensuite bathroom which was one of the filters I put on Booking dot com for my search when choosing accommodation for the trip but this is more my fault for not double checking. The shared bathroom was clean but had some spiders around and black mould on the bath mat which was slightly off putting.

what a wonderful place to stay. the house is a delight in every way and the owner Primrose was so thoughtful and caring. the manor house was so beautiful and tastefully decorated. the breakfast was delicious and filling. we highly recommend staying and hopefully we can return some day. it is close to the airport but you don’t hear the airport noise. Highly recommended by a couple traveling throughout Ireland who have stayed in many hotels and b&b.

To be honest as I was flying out early the day after I was only looking for somewhere to sleep but I was very pleasantly surprised. The house is a lovely old house with plenty of character overlooking a working farm; and it is good to think that by booking this place it will help further support the renovations to the house; although I should add that the house is not a building site! The room is lovely, well presented and the bed very comfortable. Best of all was the host; Primrose was a great person to chat with and that was a bonus. I would not hesitate to recommend this stay especially if you want to experience the real Northern Ireland and engage with real people; which I feel is an important part of going away; sadly missed by some people who prefer faceless hotels. So despite me just looking for somewhere functional; staying here was a big bonus and sadly although I didn't have time for the breakfast due to the flight, I am sure it would have been delicious. A lovely stay in a lovely place with a lovely person. Hopefully I'll be back to use the place as a base for exploring and not just for the airport.

Very comfortable & clean, tranquil country house, and a working farm. Lovely to see the dogs and horses about the place. Bed was comfortable, quiet nice sleep and an amazing bathroom. The property is either a very short walk or drive to the airport and it was very peaceful, being in a nice picturesque lane. Primrose and Steven are welcoming and obliging hosts and the breakfast was top drawer. This represents amazing value for money and very different and much more appealing than the ‘generic’ and twice the price airport hotels. Thanks for a great stay.

A delightful, friendly, cosy house. The bed was really comfy and the breakfast excellent. We arrived late at night and it was lovely, warm and restful. Primrose is an excellent host, very accommodating and we enjoyed a relaxed morning with her and were delighted to be allowed to meet her wonderful family of horses and dogs. We hope to find ourselves in the area again soon so that we have an excuse to stay there again. Such a lovely change from characterless hotels

A sign on the gate would be helpful to reassure us that we had found the right place in the dark!!

A fabulous old school Farmhouse, Very well furnished in a traditional style. I loved it, but it's not for everyone. DO book if you want: - Beautiful rural location - Classic old style rooms with sumptuous soft furnishings - A fantastic real home cooked breakfast at a time to suit you (within reason & communicated in advance) - Decent WiFi - Proper Irish milk for your tea offerd on arrival (first time ever! 👍🏼)

I have no complaints, but prospective guests should NOT book if you insist on - - Ensuite bathroom. It's an immaculate shared bathroom (between a maximum of 3 rooms) - love it, or find somewhere which is ensuite) - Pet free location - Friendly Dogs and cats live here - A bland euro-box hotel (there are plenty nearby for more £) - 24 hr service from staff that you are unwilling to be courteous to. (this is a family run place, run by people who care - be considerate) There are plans in progress for more improvements to Crookedstone, in meantime it's still a comfortable place to stay.

Excellent breakfast. Great location close to Belfast International Airport. Last minute booking late at night which wasn't an issue with Primrose. Great to stay in a country manor with character that Primrose is lovingly restoring to its former glory.

Unlike many others, this wonderful place is really close to the airport, a genuine 20 minute walk along a quiet lane. The house is charming and well kept, with great bed linen, bathroom and views over the lovely garden. The host is both engaging and well informed, and takes real pride in the place. Great value for money and a preferred option for Belfast Airport. If you're a country lover and enjoy having friendly dogs and horses nearby, this is for you!

That I couldn't stay longer.

Beautiful quaint farmhouse very close to the airport. Primrose and Steven were so friendly and forthcoming, they really helped us out when we were struggling to organise transport to and from a wedding. The bedroom was beautifully furnished and the bed was luxuriously comfy! The shared bathroom was spotless with perfect facilities, a lovely large shower and bath. Good WiFi and at breakfast Steven really looked after us!

Probably not suitable if you are allergic to dogs/ dog hair. Primrose and Steven have several rescue dogs who were very friendly, they are clearly very well looked after and controlled around guests! We didn't mind them at all!
