Maldron Hotel Belfast International Airport

Great location if you are booked in for an early morning / late night flight as it's right across the road from the International airport. Despite being so close to the airport, it's quiet and you can get a good night's sleep! The loo is in a separate room to the bathroom which always helps if you are travelling with someone else. Really good breakfast provided downstairs at extra cost of 14 pounds sterling. Marks and Spencers food is across from the hotel. Hotel is also next to the car hire place so you can easily walk in 5 mins back to hotel.

Expensive for one night for a pretty standard room. The bathroom needs to have little 'condiments' like soap / conditioner etc provided in separate packets rather than one big dispenser. No water was provided in the room - perhaps the tap water is ok? I bought a large bottle in M&S across the road but for the price of a night in this hotel, water should have been provided.

Proximity to the airport is excellent. The room is comfortable and quiet. Most rooms have been recently renovated.

This hotel doesn't seem to understand that an airport hotel needs to cater for travelers who arrive and depart at odd hours to and from flights. We arrived at around 10:00 to the hotel only to find that there was only pizza available as room service. After a 5 hour flight plus an hour to clear the airport we were in need of some proper food. Expensive pizza from who knows where just doesn't cut it. Although the rooms have been recently renovated it seems that Mario the plumber has no idea how to design a bathroom. Who uses Psycho plastic shower curtains these days? The bath tub requires climbing into to have shower and the taps have to be in the most difficult position possible.

Waking up for an early flight and having to just walk 30 meters to the terminal is wonderful. We have stayed here a number of times in the past when flying out of Belfast International and we have found the hotel acceptable in the past. This trip we found that the rooms have mostly been refurbished (probably during Covid) and the fit out is very good. Our original room had a broken shower head stand as it is a cheap Chinese plastic stand that is not suitable for commercial use but we were given a better room that was excellent. The hotel is very quiet and aircraft noise is almost undetectable. The WiFi is fast and reliable and the staff are very helpful and great to deal with.

I just don't understand that an airport hotel doesn't offer a hot breakfast for travelers who have to fly out early. The hot breakfast doesn't start until 7:00 am so even though we paid for a full breakfast we had to settle for a continental cold breakfast. Not Happy about that! I certainly won't bother prepaying breakfast next time and the hotel needs to advise guests before they book about how late breakfast is available.

I loved the hotel, the restaurant staff were excellent, the location, my room. The receptionist when I left was very nice. The access to the airport exceptional.

When I checked in, a relative who took me to the hotel from Londonderry, wanted to ask a question to the lady receptionist who was booking a gentleman in. She took too long. She did it on purpose, because my relative just needed the parking card approved. She then started to speak to me about him. To tell me that he was rude, and that patience was a quality. I have served in reception, I would have taken a minute to answer the question, and would never have commented about another person with the client.

By far the best thing about this hotel is the staff. We stayed here because we were connecting through Belfast and the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. I should call out the super friendly receptionist that checked us out - she was very kind, and the nice man with the Christmas jumper that helped us with my dad who was in a wheelchair. Thank you! Also comfortable beds, amazing location (literally 3 mins walk from airport check-in), and tasty breakfast.

The hotel is a little worn in places. Rooms could be doing with new carpets, sink was stained and shower was awkward and leaking from the hose. The bed was very clean and comfortable though and that's the main thing! Got a great night's sleep.

Friendly staff, dinner was very good and reasonably priced. Parking on site and it's extremely near to the airport and the hire cars. The room was fine and had ironing board and a good shower, those business essentials!

My room was serviced but they didn't even make the bed or clean the used cup away. Only new biscuits showed that they had been in! Strange misstep when everything else was good.

Stayed overnight due to flight cancellation. Very close to Belfast International Airport so we were able to walk within 1-2 minutes from Airport to hotel and back again the next morning. Surprisingly quiet considering proximity to airport. Comfortable bed, spacious clean room. The accommodating and friendly receptionist was warm and efficient even at 1am in the morning and obligingly furnished us with toothbrush & toothpaste as we hadn't planned to stop over in Belfast - just planned a day trip!

A cumbersome, archaic check-in system that involved printing, signing and stapling some paper forms but we still had our room key within a few minutes. Other guests in front of us in the queue took ages, not sure if it was them (goodness knows what took them so long) or the booking system. We booked online beforehand which sped up our check in

Very friendly staff, good welcome on check in. Comfortable bed, cleanliness of hotel overall was good.

Sadly as I had notified the hotel that I was G.F, there were no suitable biscuits provided for room tea tray. Asked if any available - No. Only 1 starter on menu, mains x 5 choices but only 1 dessert. The food processor ded was of good quality and standard. I will admit an improvement on some hotels but could be better.

Hotel is very close to Belfast International airport. Rooms are basic, but I was only staying one night so it did everything I wanted. Staff are exceptionally friendly. Will book here again

The bed is a bit hard for my taste, but others may not feel the same way. It's a bit noisy on the 1st floor, but you're right beside an airport so this is to be expected

We didn't eat at the hotel as we arrived late and left very early for.our flight but the restaurant area looked very nice. The lady who checked us in at the reception was very friendly and even helped me print some documents I had forgotton to do before leaving home which saved us a lot of hassle. I really appreciated that.

The separate toilet with no sink to wash your hands after was a little strange as I then had to leave that room and go into the shower room to wash my hands. The shower was nice and the room size and bed size was great. The location was fantastic for us and the facility to leave our car there while we were away was really useful.
