Rosspark Hotel Kells

As soon as we reached reception we received a very warm welcome from the gentleman on check-in. This gentleman couldn't have been nicer this was our 1st visit and we were made to feel we were regular guests such was his manner. Provided us with all the information needed, where our rooms where, the bar area and if we were returning late in the evening and reception was closed where we could access the hotel if needed. He provided us with details of local taxi companies all printed out which was perfect to pop into our handbags. The best check-in I've ever received anywhere I travelled. The hotel in general exceeded our expectations. Rooms very comfortable, great night sleep, lovely breakfast.

Everything was perfect.

Recently, my partner and I booked 2 triple rooms and 2 single rooms for our pre wedding (2 brides) preparations (hair and makeup). 8 of us stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding, and we all had complementary continental breakfasts served to our rooms on the morning of the wedding, to enjoy during our wedding preparations. The staff went above and beyond to welcome and care for our every need before we departed for the wedding venue. They also facilitated our photographer and videographer, who joined us to capture our preparations. All in all, the hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and extremely accommodating, which aided our pre wedding nerves. They catered not only for us but also our vendors throughout our entire stay. From our girls' lunch, drinks, and dinner the day before, to breakfast on the morning of. We would not hesitate to recommend the Rosspark. The lack of air conditioning on what was one of the warmest days/nights of the year, however this is only a minor detail...it is NI after all it is raining more often than it is sunny. Also, that cooked breakfasts (sausage or bacon sandwiches) can't be served/ordered to rooms.

Great wee overnight stay..very comfortable and everything we needed.

Only negatives were that returning to hotel from night we weren't able to access residents bar..no big deal but we were a group of six and wanted night cap. Second thing was no bottle of water in room..yes, there was a vendor machine end of corridor £2 for small bottle, but a nice and common gesture is a bottle of water. Also few spiders in room which didn't bother us..but may have others!!

lovely hotel set in rural area surrounded by trees and manicured gardens. plenty of parking onsite. food at the bar is fantastic and service from staff was exceptionally good (on par with many international 4 and 5 star hotels)

comfortable room but the buzz from the electrical box is very loud at night making sleeping impossible unless you remove key card, but then have no power in the room to charge devices overnight etc. I mentioned it to front desk staff and was told unfortunately all rooms have similar issue.

Several things were very much appreciated. First, we were allowed to stow our luggage behind the desk when we arrived hours before check-in. Second, when we made a reservation for high tea on Saturday, only to find out later that high tea is not served on Saturday, the restaurant staff went out of their way to prepare high tea for us anyway. (And it was wonderful) Third, when we could not get a taxi on Sunday morning to go to a service at the historic Kellswater R.P. Church, the desk clerk found an employee who would drive us in her own car. Fourth, when one of our party missed a step and fell, an ice bag was provided, appropriate concern was expressed, and a wheelchair was provided as we checked out. The staff is professional and accommodating, and the facility is beautiful!

Everything. From the fantastic guy on check-in who made us feel most welcome and gave us information on taxis etc. Showed us the different areas of the hotel for dining, socialising etc and direction to our room. Everything we needed to know if we were returning late at night to access the hotel as we were attending a wedding in the local area. He made us feel at home rather than new guests.

Everything was perfect

Super hotel in a great central location for exploring Northern Ireland. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and breakfast was lovely. Really good choice available.

The only things I would improve on are the beds - the mattress was soft and the pillows were not very comfy, and the shower - the pressure wasn’t great, but otherwise we had a very comfortable stay.

Great location. Hotel set in beautiful grounds. Staff were all very friendly. We particularly were impressed by the younger staff how pleasant and friendly they were to the guests. Food was lovely, great grill menu with lots of choice Breakfast was great. Lots of parking in the carpark. Room was small but enough space for 2 people and it was clean and warm. Hotel quiet at night, no doors banging or loud talking.

Water for an afternoon bath could have been hotter.

Food was excellent and room was clean. Not sure it was value for money as quite expensive. Bar and restaurant staff were excellent

I complained re a smell from the drains in the room but was told nothing could be done till next day, but obviously we were leaving

The hotel was very quite and relaxing. The facilities are well maintain and clean. The staff were very good and helpful. WiFi was free and easily accessed. The breakfast was top notch, self-service with many options both hot and cold. Plenty of parking available.

If you did not have transport the location may be difficult to access.
