Wilsons Hotel - Blackpool Tower View

Myself and 2 friends with 5 children stayed at this hotel all I can say that the hotel itself was very clean and we were made so welcomed the children absolutely loved staying here and they just adored the owners the owners all I can say had the patience of saints with us all they were so generous even treating the girls to cakes and biscuits we got to know the owners personally and had our little yarns in the mornings and throughout the day we all felt at home comfortable I cannot thank these owners enough for giving us the best stay in Blackpool and we will most definitely be back soon to stay

Owner was lovely, allowed us to check in early when we arrived. Showed us our room and Wi-Fi info, told us everything we needed to know, and told us to treat it as we would our home. Will definatly visit again!

Location was incredibly good and convenient from the Winter Gardens. Situated in a quiet street. My room was number 10. Topmost room, and that did not matter. Room was mostly tidy and clean and reasonable size for the price. Tea and Coffee provided.

The Shower pressure was a little more than a concentrated drip! Power shower needed if pressure low at top. The drawer I would have used was not cleaned, so kept clothes in my bag. I knew that the toilet would be separate but did not appreciate it would be several floors down!

GOwners are lovely, very friendly and great with the children. Allowed us to leave buggy at the bottom of the stairs. Also had a bag full of sand toys to lend out to the children which was a nice touch. Room also had alot more floor space than expected so our 1year old could toddle around. There was no parking outside hotel (but it cant be expected when so close to centre) but carpark was close enough to be able to nip back and forth.

The sheet on the single bed wasnt quite big enough for the mattress so kept coming off overnight.

The hotel was fantastic it was in a great location the only downside was there was no parking so you have to add parking on top of your hotel price but the car park was liar the bottoms of the street. The lady and gentleman that run the hotel are absolutely amazing they couldn’t of helped more I traveled with a baby and they was amazing with her they sorted her night time bottle out for me and made sure we had everything we needed we will definitely be coming back

please ignore the negative reviews, the previous came from a petty person who was there when we were. i can assure you the review is bogus and not worth the read as it’s all fabricated lies. on with a genuine review…… the property is situated in a very desirable location , it was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. if u want 5 star then pay 5 star prices. i’ve never met such a lovely pair of hosts. i feel like i’ve known sam my whole life. this lady is a diamond. the sheets were all clean and fresh the pillows very comfortable. the toilet was immaculate the first thing i check is the toilet and it smelt like it’s had a VERY GOOD clean before we arrived. again people need to bare in mind this place for its location is very reasonably priced. the lounge is undergoing work at the moment but i’m excited to see what it looks like once completed next year. thanks so much Sam and Arif for a wonderful short stay. i’m happy i can now call you dear friends

absolutely nothing

The staff were really friendly and the view and location were brilliant we got to see the tower from our bedroom window lite up every night the room was lovely and the bed was very comfy

The only downfall was having to go down a floor to use the bathroom especially as it was only me and my son bit hard to go the toilet if my child is asleep would be even more brill if they did breakfast but they don't but I would definitely still stay there again

Absolutely AMAZING.. Best hosts in Blackpool.. excellent location.. felt extremely comfortable with the children, the hosts could not do more for us even if they tried. Made us feel welcome and was extremely homely. Clean and welcoming. My husband thought the beds were more comfortable than our beds at home. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be going back.. thankyou for making us have a wonbreak away.

The price was definitely value for money and the owners were really friendly and helpful. Our experience of Wilson's Hotel has been great and we would definitely consider booking again. Having read some of the reviews we were a little cautious but in all honesty it was exactly what we had hoped. If you are the type of picky person who watches too much Four In A Bed at least 70% of the places to stay in Blackpool won't be for you. Seagulls are part and parcel of the place, you will find occasional stains on mattress bases and people will be noisy coming and going, not every room is going to have the "Tower View" and almost all places need updating but this can only be done by revenue coming in and allowing funds to make changes, reviews that put down perfectly fine hotels are making it more difficult for these businesses and the families that run them. If you have a genuine issue speak to the hotel rather than leaving unfounded negativity. We stayed in room 2, it had everything we needed, towels and toiletries were supplied and fresh. We asked for 2 extra pillows as my partner has asthma and sleeps better slightly elevated, the pillows that were put in our room were AMAZING and although we usually both prefer a soft mattress the firm mattress on the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The room was clean, plenty room to move around, LOTS of mirrors and the TV was perfectly placed.

The shower was quite small (though there isn't anything that could be done about this, it is a space issue and most hotels have similar issues) and the shower curtain could do with being replaced but again didn't cause an issue during our stay.

Staff really friendly, made sure we had plenty of things for our room. Very comfy Welcoming Good location, central for everything
