Ruskin Hotel

Excellent location. Room small but comfortable and clean. Staff all pleasant

It is about 4 years since we last stayed at The Ruskin. We felt let down by the standard of the food at breakfast and dinner. Not as good as it used to be.

Everything!!! Great friendly team. very helpful and very professional. Great management. Great rooms. Great bars. Amazing food and service. Amazing live entertainment!!! and the nicest hotel staff I ever met!!! Congratulations!!!! Guys I stayed in the past in 5 star hotels in BLACKPOOL and this hotel is by far the best!!!! I highly recommend it especially any Premier room. Just fantastic!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

very nice hotel. had great entertainment on at night different shows dancers money bingo games staff were very friendly had 4 d s boy band on was fantastic heading back again this week hope they on on again right in heart on town and shopping area.

The staff are very helpful & friendly, rooms are comfortable & clean & everything you need for your stay, the food is excellent I only had the breakfast it was a buffet & had everything you would want in a breakfast a great selection & the location is very convenient for everything on the promenade.

I can't really fault the hotel it had everything I needed for my stay there is entertainment every night but it tends to be a singer most nights & although they are very good it's not my cup of tea but that's just me personally plenty of the guests really like it.

Location was perfect for us, all the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, The room was little warm but we were advised about this together with options to help make our stay more comfortable . Room cleaned everyday with fresh towels changed daily too. Entertainment was great , Bar staff great and the prices were very reasonable, we loved the stay so much we booked to return again in the New Year , Thank you Ruskin Hotel see you again soon,

nothing everything was great we couldn’t fault the place at all

We loved that there was plenty space to sit and relax and have a drink at the reception or in the pub attached and that there were alcohol free options at the bar too. Its nice and quiet in that area compared to others we have been to. We used the spa facilities which were amazing had the best reflexology treatment. Loved the fact we had a bath as well. Staff lovely and friendly and approachable as well. Entertainment was really good too

There was nothing we could really complain about maybe room a bit bigger but it wasn't a problem

I didn't like the way I was spoken to when checking in. The lady on reception (foreign accent, no name on badge) was asking did we want to book breakfast. When I said no thank you, she said "are you on a diet?" I'm a big girl and don't appreciate being spoken to like that and being humiliated in front of my partner. I was shocked by what she said and have to say upset me for the time I was there. I never had anyone say something like that to me before especially by somebody working in hospitality. Its very rude, disrespectful and completely out of order. I wanted to raise it with the manager, but felt too embarrassed by the situation.

Went down for breakfast and you have to wait to he seated. Because they tick your name and room number off. We booked 9am and was there at that time. Waited nearly 10mins no1 came to us to be seated, so I thought sod it. So I myself ticked us off the sheet and found a table to sit down to have breakfast. The waiter service is for tea/coffee and toast. We were then again sat 15mins waiting to be asked for these. The waitresses we cleaning tables up but not coming over to ask us. Its wasn't busy so I dont understand why clear tables when guests sat waiting for hot drinks and toast. Anyway I ended up going to ask myself. This part of service I found to be not good. Was 3rd time staying at hotel and other times was great service at breakfast

Close to town centre, easy walk to the winter gardens every day. Clean rooms, great bathroom. lots to do if you don’t want to go out

too many smokers outside the doors. too hot in the rooms had to have the fan on all the time
