Happy Return Hotel

I couldn’t fault Stephanie and Chris’s awesome set up at the Happy Return Hotel. From arrival, the room itself, the facilities, location, breakfast, the friendly staff, the quality experience - I’d be happy to return to the Happy Return! Thank you for a lovely stay!

If you’re a light sleeper, noise from other guests using the stairs to access their rooms and residual noise does carry in this converted property - nevertheless, this did not detract from what was a fantastic stay!

Very clean room. a bit on the small side but not a problem for the two nights I spent in it. Great location.

black towel left bits of fluff on me when used. however I asked for a different one and it was fine. I think it must’ve been a new towel which had lots of loose fluff in it. Room amenities were a bit lacking for the price. Nice smelling hand soap in a dispenser but that was all. Decaf coffee sachet would’ve been appreciated.

Location couldn't have been better, right round the corner from coral island and across the road from a large car park. Walked to every destination while we were there, no need for driving or public transport, hotel is so close to the sea front and popular attractions. Hotel was modern and so clean! Loved the decor and cleanliness of the hotel and our room. Value for money was a definite! I'm comparison to other hotels, this room was a bargain but also exceeded our expectations.

Nothing! Everything was amazing!

All ok. Room was a bit plain but clean and tidy. Tea /coffee facilities in room were good. Could have been a bit more artwork etc in the room as walls were a bit bare. Bathroom Shower was very clean and a good size shower. Staff always checking to see if everything is alright or if you need anything. I will stay there again one day

Room / walls was a bit bare. Not much else to say room was pretty much what I expected. A lift might have been helpful as stairs were a bit steep.

This bnb is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the main strip of north shore including the beach. We parked in the central car park which again Is literally a few minutes walk away. The rooms are small but adequate enough for a short stay. They are modern, very clean and have everything you need. Steph the host is very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast is an absolute bargain for £5 each, you get full English breakfast, tea, coffee a selection of cereals and yogurts- it was spot on! Although we didn’t use it, there is a bar downstairs which was nicely decorated and fully stocked! Will definitely be coming back to the happy return on our next trip to Blackpool!

Myself and my partner Tim have had the best stay at The Happy Return, having had numerous stays in Blackpool, some of the places we have stayed at in the past have been a little undesirable . On arriving at The Happy Return we could tell it stood out from other properties in the street, it was nicely painted and stylish. The location was perfect for us, close to the town centre, promenade and Blackpool tower. Check in was easy and we were greeted by Alex and Steph in the bar area which hosted a large pool table and bar that was immaculate. We were given room 20 on the 3rd floor, all stairways were carpeted and nicely decorated in a modern design, the carpets were Hoovered and the whole house smelled clean and fresh, the doors to the rooms were modern and matched the decor. We entered our room and it was spotless it hosted a flat screen tv, dressing table, wardrobe and double bed with spotless white bedding and black cushions. The bathroom was very clean and had everything we needed. From our window we had a view of Blackpool tower which was great at night when illuminated. The hospitality tray was well stocked and replenished everyday of our stay. My partner and I were both very impressed with our room, we had everything we needed and we both slept well in the comfortable bed. I had breakfast everyday of my stay and it was excellent, there was an array of cearals and fruit avaliable and fruit juice on my table, Steph took my hot drinks and food order and the cooked breakfast was well cooked and tasted good and arrived quickly. We would highly recommend The Happy Return as a fantastic place to stay in Blackpool. We will be returning in the near future and wouldn't stay anywhere else from now on. Thank you Steph and Alex

Location was perfect and central and within walking distance to all amenities, breakfast was good and very friendly service, pool table a bonus to keep the kids occupied also. Parking is difficult but expected and recommend parking at local shopping centre car park which offered relatively cheap and safe parking and easy walking distance to hotel.

Lack of parking but well known about and expected having travelled to blackpool on many occasions. Occupied top floor rooms so might want to give prior advice if not fit and able for all the stairs as proper leg burners for an active family

The Hotel is in the heart of it basically with just a short walk from long and short stay parking. The staff are very helpful and friendly, this hotel has a very high standard of hygiene which is extremely essential and important to me and my family. I felt at ease staying here. The rooms are modern and well kept, the hallway is also very clean and smells it too this set's a positive tone from moment's of entering the building, this is before even seeing your room. The bar area is well stocked and comes with a pool table which the children enjoyed. The breakfast is a must! We enjoyed our short stay.

To be fair there wasn't much that we didn't enjoy during our stay, the property is supper clean and tidy. I was sharing a family room on the top floor of the hotel with my two children, my friend and her 2 children the only thing I'd like to suggest is possibly a black out blind for the roof velux especially during the summer and maybe another mirror perhaps behind the bedroom door. The room splits into two separate areas which gives both area's the privacy they require which is fantastic when 6 people are trying to dress all at the one time.

Just returned from the hotel today. Didn’t want to come home. The hotel is spotlessly clean, it smells lovely from the minute you open the front door, has Covid hand sanitising stations which I appreciated, Steph the owner is soooo lovely, attentive to all our needs, always had a smile on her face- she is definitely in the correct job. She made us feel so comfortable and could not do enough for us. It was my first break with my lockdown baby, we could not have booked a better hotel. The hotel is modern, bathroom is beautiful and so clean. Breakfast was lovely every morning. Location is great, so near everything. We will definitely be staying again and recommending to our family and friends. Thank you Steph for an amazing stay. We wish you all the best for the future! X
