we was in the family room with en-suite and for Blackpool and what you pay you cant really fault it, room was clean, come with everything you need even a fan for these hot days, bathroom was a decent size, perfect location with everything nearby and parking just down the road, we would definitely book again in the future, good value for money

didn’t effect our stay what so ever but the double bed was a hard mattress (some like hard, others like myself prefer soft) but single bed was nice and soft.. also didn’t effect our stay but disabled customers who don’t read the q&a be mindful there is no ground floor room or lift (these buildings ain’t massive so I myself wouldn’t have expected to see a lift)

On arrival very friendly and helpful, helped us to find the car park which was about a 5 minute walk which is secure parking. When at hotel it was very clean and welcoming, rooms where very spacious and cleaned daily, breakfast repaired in the morning and catered to are every need (specially for the fussy ones 😄) very good value for the money felt right at home and came back most nights as the bar was excellet along with the pool table and pauls entertainment. Paul was a great host and always tried to help us with whatever we needed, we will be back for round 2 and his lovely cocktails. 10/10 would recommend Jason, Alan and Jan

Such a homely family-run hotel. You felt like you were staying in someone's home. Warm welcome, helpful staff. It was very clean and comfortable. The bar lounge was a nice place to sit of an evening with the added bonus of a pool table. Ideal location for the centre of town and access to promenade.

We had a problem with the television signal and mentioned this on checkout so they said they would look into that.

Paul and his family went above and beyond during our stay. It's not very often you find a gem like The Ferndale Hotel. Perfectly located near the town centre and central peir but it was also quite considering you are so close to the night life of Blackpool. We also had a beautiful view of the black pool tower 🗼 perfect night light for your little ones. Can't want to go back next year! Thank you so much xx

The hotel is perfectly located, very close to many attractions and restaurants and to the beach. The room was spacious and very comfortable (We even had a fan). Breakfast (full English) was very tasty (and cheap). All the staff was very attentive, doing everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible, always asking If everything was all right. In short, we had a lovely stay

The curtains were to thin, letting the sun pass through at 5am. The bathroom was a bit small.

Paul was a lovely host, real friendly and very pleasant, also rest of staff were lovely as well especially the girl that serviced our room who I spoke to. Great room with all you need for a stay, comfortable bed, lovely and warm, very clean and tidy, loads of hangers, plenty of space for bits and bobs at side of bed, great selection of tea bags coffee etc. Friendly atmosphere very relaxed. Had breakfast was brill all you could want and perfectly cooked, anything you wanted more at breakfast they brought out straight away no messing about. Fab spot was the hotel, close to coral island, market, town centre, blackpool tower, central pier. Had a good time at the comedy club, illuminations great, waxworks were fine, Ken Webster hypnotist was great. Fantastic weekend in Blackpool. Thanks very much Paul for our lovely stay in your hotel.

This is not the first time i have stayed here, its always been lovely but this time I think was the best. Great family room, comfy beds, hot shower. On arrival Paul told us the TV wasn't working and his son was going to get a new one which they did and it was great for when you went back to your room in the evenings to unwind. The staff were fabulous. Paul granted us a early check in which was much appreciated as we were coming by train. Lisa was also fantastic with my son JACK. She was a great help with letting us know what bus to get and where from for the zoo. Can't praise her enough. Hoping to be back in October. Alison

The rooms were clean and cozy. The staff were very friendly and chatty. The drinks served in the bar were lovely, and good prices. There was a lovley warm welcome and felt like home with the christmas decorations. The price is great value. The mini fridge is a brilliant idea, and very good prices.

The only small tiny problem was lack of stair rails by room 3, it would be nice to have a stair rails.

Room was a good size and we had plenty of space. There was a double and single bed and both were comfortable. Plenty of space to hang clothes and also extra space in a set of drawers. Shower was nice an warm. Tea, biscuits and chocolates were a nice touch. Quiet at night which was great.

Could maybe do with a mirror in the bedroom.

The staff were brilliant, very friendly and hospitable. They went out of their way to make my stay as good as possible. The hotel is really well located for all Blackpool has to offer. I would highly recommend the Ferndale to anybody visiting Blackpool. I will definitely be returning in the future.
