Lovely welcome on arrival and they were a very friendly family whenever we had any contact with them. Made sure we were happy, and served a really lovely breakfast!! Bonus points for having some lovely dogs for us to pet!!

Nothing, as we knew we had booked a budget friendly accomodation. We were happy with a clean, spacious room to rest our head after a busy day. Yes, the room had a couple of niggles that could have been improved but these were basic things that truly didn't bother us, such as having a lightbulb out on one of the lamps. Having read previous reviews, we were slightly anxious, but needn't have been. Don't arrive expecting the ritz when you've paid for budget accomodation and you'll have a lovely stay!

The Westbourne House hotel was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a young girl who was very pleasant. I stayed in Room 1 with my husband. It had a double bed and a child's single bed. The room was decorated very nicely, and it was clean. The pics and the wallpaper were quite glittery and snazzy. I think the rooms have not been long modernised. The bathroom was nice and clean and sparkly cladding in there too. I didn't book breakfast as fancied an extra hour in bed but I could smell it and it bloody smelled nice :) There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room with proper sized mugs.Clean towels and some little biccies and handwash as an extra touch .There is a little bar downstairs. Unfortunately we didn't get to use it as we went out for meal and then to some cabaret afterwards.

TV was too small for me personally. I wear glasses.I like to chill and watch TV when I arrive and when I get back from the pub. There also was no shower in our room and it did state that there was via booking .com. Showed a 'shower' symbol. No biggie though for either thing, it wouldn't detract from me staying again.

Too many stairs but we maid it up them one room was clean the other room needed doing thanks to cleaner but the staff got straight on to it and made it nice for us when ever we run out of something the staff provided it for us the pub wasn't open when we got back which was a shame but we loved our time there and they had some beautiful puppies what I got to cee staff was brilliant rooms was nice beds was cumfy and definitely not far from everything was easy to get to where we wanted would recommend it for a family

Ask if people have conditions that can't get up stairs and put them on a lower floor and do checks after the cleaner has been in room to make sure job is done.

This was a last minute booking, so I was glad to find a room in Blackpool in the right location at short notice.

My mistake, so can't complain, but I hadn't realised I'd booked a room with SHARED bathroom. Not a huge problem for a one night stay - if only the bathroom mat around the loo wasn't absolutely soaking wet....not good 🙁

Cute room feels at home

I really like this place its a cute hotel with nicely decorated and clean. Single room needs a fan but no complaints otherwise! Great location shops one way and all central pier the other. Staff just to say thanks for borrowing me a charger when mine was broken 🙂 Its probably the first hotel in Blackpool ive felt at home with a nice cup of tea and TV 😄

went for our 25th wedding anniversary and walked into room and the bed was covered in rose petals card chocolates and other little presents...was lovely.

would of been nice to wake up to a full English breakfast...but unfortunately they don't do that but said breakfast was included when we looked to book...after we booked found out it was a breakfast box in your room...cheese and biscuits.

The bathroom was lovely and spacious, the lighting and shower were really nice. The room was a lovely size and the location of the hotel was really convenient. Breakfast being brought up to the rooms was also a nice touch and made the stay really pleasant.

When checking in, we didn't get told much about the room so we figured out the shower and door lock by ourselves. The staff were lovely and it was obvious we could ask any questions we needed but maybe an information file or instructions sheet would be beneficial for occupants during their stay. The bed sheets could've been a bit softer and a mattress topper would've been comfier but the overall comfort of the room was still lovely. The room was definitely covid-safe levels of clean however there was definitely some bits of the room which were quite dusty like the top of the shower.

Excellent location near all the main attractions room comfy. Do nice booked again for November.

Nothing really got what I was expecting just could fo with the WiFi password on show but then again I vould off asked for it .

The host jeff was very welcoming. Chatted to us everytime we saw him. Room was more the enough. Clean spacious family room. 2 mins from central pier. Absolutely loved our stay. Thanks again jeff you was a barrel off laughs.. PS.. dont believe the bad reviews about this place or the host. He was so funny etc etc.. We will definitely book here again.. Neil. Sarah. Thomas.

early, 12-30pm check in; 10 mins to train station or tram stop with food outlets very close by. A very comfortable room, with tv and plenty of power sockets for recharging and sink and bathrooms in the hallway
