The room was excellent - clean and spacious. Staff were super friendly and helped wherever possible.

As this was during the pandemic and still with the restrictions of travelling for work, I was surprised to see A. How many families with young children were there (especially in the pool at the weekend) and B. How many people were wondering around without masks. These were the only spoilers.

Our room was very nice although no view from the window. The bed was huge and there was a coffee machine. The restaurant was excellent and the meal deal really good value.

The pool isn't great. It is small and you can't swim in the shallow end. Split in half for serious swimmers and fun but when lessons going on all in one side and when they aren't the rule isn't enforced. When checking out I had to ask for a print out of the bill so I could check it, the receptionist wanted to send me on my way without even being told what the bill was. The invoice was very complicated but when I checked at home it was right.

Location is convenient for access onto the motorway network, the room that we had was of a good size, and was clean. Facilities inside the room are what you expect, good sized tv, tea/coffee. Check in was efficient, and the breakfast choice was really good, in fact the range of food was endless.

There wasn't too much that we didn't like, but the £35 extra charge for our pet is excessive, especially for 1 night, apart from an extra hoovering in the bedroom the dog didn't have breakfast, was provided with no dog bowls or treats as is the case with a lot of the rooms we stay in, £6 to park the car, all the little extras add up.

I phoned and was told my room would be ready for an early arrival as our travel plans had changed do we arrived at 12 30. We were told the room would ready for 12.45 When we arrived we were told it wouldn't be ready. This changed all our plans and had to wait. The breakfast was very good, no option for a continental price and the price was completely outrageous. £17.50 for a breakfast is not what I expect in a Hilton, £52.50 we paid, that's just under half for the accommodation! . We felt rushed and there seemed to be too many staff just hanging around waiting for us to finish. I don't appreciate plates being removed from my table when others are still eating. We went into Bristol City on the Sunday and had the same breakfast for £10.50 The toaster is ridiculous. ................

The staff were all exceptionally friendly & helpful. Reception staff provided us with extra bedding and tea bags etc. We ate in the bar & again staff were very welcoming & brought us whatever we asked for.

I was disappointed that all the dishes on the menu with fresh salad/vegetables were unavailable. Breakfast as a little better. I wasn’t expecting an extra car parking charge on top of room payment - I’d rather have had warning if it couldn’t be included. We also wanted to leave tips for the staff so would have appreciated a tip box.

Lovely little pool for the kids. Was sceptical after reading reviews of tired outdated rooms, but we had a family room, which was lovely. Huge adult bed and single bed for one child and travel cot supplied. We did have to wait an hour for our room to be ready, but this hour was given back the next morning for late check out which was appreciated. Good supplies in the room, coffee could be a bit better but was fine. Clean facilities in the pool area and lovely bar and reception area. We went on Sunday to Monday which was lovely and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Were given welcome cookies which was a nice extra. Would def stay there again.

Had to wait an hour for check in. Coffee in room could be nicer.

The evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was a great hit with the pancake machine which the grandchildren loved. The adults enjoyed the wide range on offer. Sadly the melon wasnt ripe but otherwise very happy.

Generally we had no complaints. Lessons taking up half the pool could prove an irritation as the pool was one of the attractions and was very full. They had to stop some guests as there were too many people in the pool. Care should be taken not to offend your guests by eliminating access to your “spa”.

Ryan on reception was fantastic, he went above and beyond and was extremely helpful what a fantastic employee. The room was clean, the swimming pool was really nice and breakfast was very nice. It was a nice quiet location.

The pillows were pretty rubbish, your head just sunk into them there was no support, and the bed was quite springy and pingy feeling. Was a bit disappointed that our extra large double bed was just 2 singles pushed together. When we went for the breakfast the staff member told us to find our own table and we ended up accidently sat on someone else's as we didn't know if the mugs on the table meant they were being used or no, as a couple of the tables had used tea bags in the mugs. The table we ended up on also was missing some cutlery. We did see a couple other staff members walk other customers to a table so not sure why we weren't, it would have saved some embarrassment.

Travelled with husband & children 9 and 5 years old . I was abit nervous after seeing some previous reviews however can honestly say we had a brilliant stay . The swimming facilities were great for us and really good opening times with no limits to children . Breakfast was beautiful & plenty of choice . Good location for what we was looking to do in Bristol . Would definitely stay again . Staff were really helpful & polite , a young lady working in the health spa on Sunday was extremely lovely & nice thank you .

Everything was fine.

It's such a comfortable hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. I stayed in the queen room which was quite spacious and comfortable enough for a couple. Bathrobe and slippers available. Buffet was standard fare, nothing exciting but I liked it. They had a nice bar and lounge with a few books. I also didn't have time to check out their fitness and spa facilities but a quick peek showed that they were quite good. Overall, it was a great experience! Price was worth it!

The only downside may have been the distance from the city, but there's a bus stop close to the hotel. Also, I'm not sure they have a lift because I didn't use one during my stay.
