V nice historic coaching inn. Room was very clean and well equipped. The separate bathrooms (As advertised) were v clean and the shower powerful. The staff and the dog were friendly and the owners very hospitable. Evening meal was good pub food and good value. The included breakfast was very good. Overall amazing value. Car parking is a minor issue but the T1 bus (every 20 mins) gives you easy access to Bristol and at £2 who can complain.

Cannot really find anything to fault. En-suite bathrooms are apparently planned, subject to planning permission.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and uncluttered. The room over looked the high street which is now mostly pedestrianised but was not in anyway noisy. As for the breakfast all I can say is go for the full English it is fantastic. Also as the hotel is one of the many pubs in the town it serves a really good pint or two!

Not too much of a negative but do think about taking a dressing gown and slippers as the rooms are not en-suite and you have to walk through two corridors to reach them. At least for those rooms located at the front of the building. Also there is no on-site parking but there is a large public car park a very short walk from the hotel of which the last section is for long term parking. Oh and ignore the 12 hour maximum stay time as there is no problem as I left mine there for the two days of my visit, the landlady confirmed the parking enforcement officers do not worry about that section.

On arrival we were informed that our room was not en suite. A little surprised. However, both bathrooms were lovely and clean and not too much bother. The pub for the size of the town had plenty of life and brilliant staff. Young staff, well mannered and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and plenty of it. Great value for money.

I wish there had been a better description of getting to your room. The two sets of stairs were a struggle for me.

Straight forward, upfront and honest accommodation. Very clean, amazing value, staff were fab, right in the middle of town, and they serve a great pint too! Lovely breakfast….it appeared within minutes of being ordered.

Ok, you have to maybe share a bathroom but 1/ you know that when you book, and 2/ they are immaculate so cleanliness is clearly important here.

Traditional pub with a great atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and amazing. Try the Swan for a different experience to your sterile chain hotels - Superb homemade food. Give it a try.

The only drawback was that it wasn't ensuite but that was far outweighed by the overall experience. There were 2 bathrooms to service the 3 rooms.

Location was good, central to the little town. Rooms were comfortable and clean with tea coffee and toiletries to use in the shower. Staff were very welcoming Breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced

For the cost of the room and all that was include there was nothing not to like!

Friendly staff, fantastic old pub with lots of character. Great breakfast and lovely landlady.

There was an 18th party on at the pub when we stayed. The music was loud and went on till 1am, it would have been nice to have been informed about the party prior to our stay.

The breakfast was excellent. Service quick and efficient. Their three rooms are in a separate annex at the top of the building, perfect for family or groups, giving guests privacy and quiet from the busy pub functions on the ground floor.

A map showing the nearest car park, as there is no on site parking. The large, free carpark is only a couple of minutes away and the staff were very helpful in explaining and giving directions.

Fabulous location and the room was comfy and clean. The owners and staff at The swan made our stay, they were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Also the breakfast was delishious! Would definatley stay again - thank you!!!

I know shared facilities isn't for everyone but it honestly wasn't a problem as there are two separate bathrooms for 3 rooms that you can't hear from the rooms so you won't be disturbed by them.

Lovely accommodation staff were exceptional. There was a great choice of food on the menu the food was tasty an really good. Breakfast there was so much choice an great value.

There was nothing I didn't like. Felt really welcoming.
