Holiday Inn Express Bristol Filton, an IHG Hotel

Staff very helpful and polite. My room was big and clean, loved the shower and very comfy pilllows. Breakfast was fine, pretty standard. Didn't hear traffic from main road, in fact it was pretty quiet. Food and supermarkets nearby. Didn't use it but liked that they had a microwave the communal area, as well as an ice machine. I would definitely return here!

My expectations were met so nothing.

The room was a nice size and I liked the sofa and table. The bed was big and very comfortable.

The TV didn't have any option of connecting to my phone to watch Netflix or YouTube which was disappointing. Also, the wifi was pretty bad and I couldn't access it from my room.

Very clean, friendly + attentive staff. Free Wifi worked perfectly throughout the hotel as I used it for 8 hours to work. Did not lose connection or need to create an account like some other hotels. The bed was very comfortable, pillows also. The double shower had a ECO setting, but you have the option to make it more powerful. Plenty of TV channels if needed. The room was very clean & appeared relatively new. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was perfectly fine. Better than I expected.

We travelled late in the evening and could check in well after midnight. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast comfy beds, sofa bed for the children set up, made and ready go use. Parking available next to the hotel (extra charges though). Good value for money for a short overnight stay on the way to your destination.

The additional fee of £5 for parking. I called the 0800 number to inquire about late check in options, but they first kept me waiting 3 minutes and then cut the line. The second time they answered my queries, but kept talking when they understood that I was going to make my own online reservation rather than booking via 0800. It seemed they were interested in keeping me on the phone as long as possible.

Very easy to get to for us and very near our daughter so an excellent base. Good to have shops nearby. Staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast had lots of choice. We were able to top up our coffee and tea from the drinks area.

Toilet was difficult to flush in our room but not bad enough to report. We had to pay £5 per night to park and were told this is because the area around does not belong to the hotel which was a bit of a surprise for us.

Comfortable and clean room. Coffee at breakfast very nice. The Dove complimentary toiletries smelt so lovely and converted me. Will be buying Dove from now on. Nice big bath towels. Breakfast ladies were very welcoming and cheerful. Toilet door was clever as you could use it to close off toilet and someone could use sink and shower.

We wanted to eat in but only pizza for food in bar. We don't like pizza. A sandwich would have been nice. The local pub was closed early so did not have an evening meal and husband is diabetic and needed a meal. Ended up with crisps. No usual biscuits in room. At breakfast only egg option is scrambled egg. I would have liked no meat and just fried or poached eggs on toast for breakfast. You have to pay extra for parking.

Breakfast was very disappointing We went down just before 9 After travelling down the night before to meet our Australian friends the next day we needed a good night's sleep. Glasses were hot no Apple juice( as advertised!) My son had to have water. No cereals no pasries( as advertised)all gone No hot breakfast( ha to queue and wait for bacon). Then sausages came 10 mins after No egg or beans left.. Jam wasn't very child friendly a big troff where children were plastering on their toast.

The room was clean and a comfortable size. The staff was friendly and kind. Loads of parking spaces. Breakfast was included, which was nice, and the breakfast/bar area was nice and spacious. I especially liked that they had takeaway cups for the coffee.

My only note is that it would have been nice to have more healthy breakfast options, like maybe granola for the yoghurt, multigrain bread, more fruits, some vegetables and more topping options for the bread. Other than that, it was quite lovely and what they had was tasty.

I enjoyed my time at this hotel before coming here I saw a lot of bad reviews, I did not seen any of this I went on new years holiday and spent two nights here, it was my birthday sadly after I got covid and was ill for two weeks. But the staff were friendly and helpful I told the receptionist when checking in it was my birthday I was given a free drinks token. Their is a pub next to the hotel so I had a nice steak and lots of wine. Its a small motel designed for short stays breakfast, could be better only pork sasuages and bacon could do with some beef in my breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. All in all a nice time had

The room was immaculate and spotless! Really modern and came with complimentary dove toiletries! Breakfast was great although no veggie alternatives. Still had a lovely brekky of egg and toast. Location was perfect and a few minutes walk from Sainsburys which was really handy. Lovely staff Such good value for money!

Honestly everything exceeded expectations. I guess the only negative is the £5 parking charge BUT the value for money on the stay compensates!
