The property is central but hard to find…it’s down a cute little alley next to Michael’s Restaurant across from the market center. The rooms are well appointed and beds are comfortable. We stayed in two rooms because the first one on the first floor, Chastleton, which was very spacious, was underneath the breakfast room. Sharon offered the choice of two other rooms so we stayed in Hidcote, a slightly smaller room but lovely with a rooftop view. We were given a bottle of Prosecco for the inconvenience, such a sweet gesture. Breakfast was delicious!

Be aware there are stairs to most of the rooms… not an issue for us but I imagine it could be a problem for some.

Sumptuous and comprehensive breakfast choices available. Delicious and very well presented. We had ours in our room. It was a wonderful touch and felt pampered. Everybody we came in contact with were very courteous and warm. Sharon was extra helpful as we had not booked dinner and suggested we should book early. Thanks so much Sharon! All the staff at the restaurant (Michaels Mediterranean) were great too and lovely food as well! Would highly recommend and come back if was coming to visit this area again!

Nothing to complain about really!

the room was beautiful and the location excellent. the decor and layout were superb and the views from our window over the market square was so lovely. the breakfast was very good and the dining room was beautifully decorated.

only very small things ….the mattress was a little soft and fresh milk for the tea and coffee would have been lovely. there was a small fridge but nothing in it. everything else was really lovely. also, we had booked a table and had asked for the window as it was our anniversary. when we got to the restaurant the window table had been taken and we had to sit outside.

The location was right in the middle of the village with easy access to shops, pubs, and other points of interest. The facilities were pristine and so pretty. The room was small but charming and had all the essentials. The B&B itself is a jewel but the staff is what makes a place stand out. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. We felt welcomed and really enjoyed our stay there.

The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The bathroom was clean with higher end fixtures

The breakfast room was a bit small. Most people took breakfast in their rooms...but this was not so easy if you chose the full breakfast. Wish there had been more variety offered for longer stays. Wish there was an indoor common area akin to an inn as or other B and B.

loved our room with a wonderful patio. It was quiet and private. The room was clean and fresh treats arrived daily. Sharon, the manager, was amazing. She was so kind and friendly and made the best breakfasts we have had in the Cotswalds! This is our 2nd stay and we will return. it’s a hidden gem

we liked everything

Great location on the High Street. We stayed in Chastleton which has a lovely big bed and super smart shower room. The table and chairs meant we were able to take breakfast in the room. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice on offer. Handy to have a fridge too.

Chastleton is a ground floor room and there are restaurant tables virtually right outside the bedroom windows in the courtyard. Although the windows have been frosted and there are blinds, diners conversations can be clearly heard. The room didn’t feel very private.

The quirky traditional rooms with exposed beams and stone . We had breakfast in our room which was really good and plentiful , both mornings as there were table and chairs in the room . We didn’t book into the restaurant before hand so wasn’t anything available as only small and popular . But the second night of our stay they managed to get us stable in the little courtyard round the back , with string lights cushions and blankets with overhead heaters was lovely , the food was fabulous and even got a nightcap in the house by the owner . We absolutely loved this little place in the wonderful picturesque village of chipping campden . We will defiantly be returning .

The WiFi was poor

Everything about this hotel is fabulous! My husband and I stayed here after our wedding at Lapstone Barn and so only got to enjoy it for a few hours really. We can’t wait to come again, because those few hours were absolutely lovely. The bed in the Kiftsgate room is so comfortable and I couldn’t leave without enjoying a bath in that fabulous roll top! The breakfast we had in the morning was delicious and beautifully presented. It was the perfect place to wake up as newly weds, thank you so much. We intend to come back for our first anniversary and actually spend a bit more time there! 😊
