The location in the centre of Stow was perfect and the price was good value in this very expensive area. The check in system was smooth with codes sent in advance. The room was comfortable and the hairdryer was better than my one at home!! Impressed to have oat milk sachets on the tea tray. The communal fridge in the hall was useful as not a standard feature in the UK.

I felt the description of ‘ boutique ‘ was a slight exaggeration as I understand it! The decor was tasteful and in keeping with an old building but the paintwork was scuffed and carpet a bit tatty.

Location very central, within the town of Stow on the Wold, easy access to house, good selection of restaurants,/ cafes,/ bars within easy walking distance of the property. Good central location for sight seeing within the Cotswolds area

There is a problem with the heated towel rail in the bathroom. Assuming that the towel rail is on the central heating system, the rail itself does not heat up to the top and therefore any towel that is placed on the rail does not get dried. The property owner needs to contact a plumber in order to fix the problem. It's not a difficult job.

The bed was lovely and spacious The bathroom was amazing with a bath you could literally drown in. Very well equired with added additions outside the room including a fridge and extras if you needed them. A really thoughtfully designed room with a very high end feel with everything thought about for your stay.

It is on the main strip so a small hun of traffic but thick glazing does help with this and especially on the lower floor felt you were being watched but this was just a testament to the room and the building which does make onlookers curious who resides within.

Lovely large comfy bed, in the middle of all the shops, restaurants and bars and handy for travelling around the Cotswolds. Key codes and automatic lighting was a good idea. Good WiFi and TV selection.

The road was a little noisy early hours 6am onwards, but we did have the window open and this may not apply to all rooms ans perhaps a little chiller to keep water etc cool, appreciate the rooms may be a bit small for this but maybe 1 in the seperate bathrooms during hot weather.

Full of character great location, super clean and wonderful value. The decanter of sherry was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Very hard to fault. Only thing to be mindful of is that it is understaffed with just a cleaner on site. As long as you’re comfortable with that go for it.

We had a lovely big roll top bath in our room which was beautiful, but it would’ve been nice to have a small shower nearby which is far more practical. Other than that zero complaints.

Everything was spotlessly clean and just very well thought out and organised. Loved the roll top bath in our room, and the dressing gowns and slippers were a really luxurious touch which made a difference too. Perfect location in the middle of the town too.

The bed in general was very comfortable but there was one spring running horizontally (at where hips are when sleeping) on the right side which could be very hard and uncomfortable until you can move into the right position - could be easily fixed with a bit of quilt or thicker fabric between the sheet and the mattress though.

Very nice clean room, comfortable bed, good extras (fudge is amazing!). The location was close enough for us to walk for everything we needed. We parked at the bottom of the hill in the pay to park bit, but the rates were cheap, so no real bother if you're up for a 5 min walk.

The room was in the eaves, In a period house this is to be expected, however if I were much taller I would have knocked myself out multiple times! The shower in the bathroom was also under the eaves, leading to some difficulty washing, but really to be expected in an old house, maybe not suitable for older people with mobility issues?

Great location, beautifully decorated. We really loved the room, but there are a few small tweeks that would make a huge difference. We would stay again, but not in the ground floor room...which is a 'luxury' room at the high end of the pricing for all the rooms in the building, but unfortunately let down by lack of planning.

1) On ground floor, no curtains or nets, so you have to close the wooden shutters or every passer-by can see in. There are tinted windows, but these do nothing in the evening when you put the lights on. 2) No bathroom door. Nowhere to plug in a hairdryer anywhere in the room, or at least nowhere near any mirror. 3) Loads of ants everywhere

Spacious, comfortable room, furnished in good taste. Bedding, towels etc all excellent quality. Tea/coffee making facilities with sherry and fudge as bonuses! Toiletries included. We were on ground floor next to the road but it wasn't particularly noisy even on Monday morning. Parked opposite hotel and had good breakfast across the road. Lots more places to eat breakfast in the town. Shared fridge available in the hallway. We didn't get there until 11.30pm but access codes made it easy to get into property. Shame we couldn't stay longer!

Bathroom had bath and shower but only a curtain dividing off from bedroom, not very private! (room1)

Room was clean, cosy and compact but perfect for two nights stay. Bathroom was small but nice toiletries provided. Bed was very comfy and cosy! Thankfully a room facing the back of the property, otherwise was very noisy when cars passed on the main road - we couldn't hear this at all.

Very small things, but the shower door didn't fully shut, and the bathroom light and extractor fan were on an automatic timer, so took a while to turn off.
