Only stayed 1 night, but if I'm ever in Scotland again, I would definitely stay here. Single room, but everything you need, including a good-sized TV. The bar restaurant probably has the best food deals I've ever seen, and the quality of the food is really good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist who greeted me on arrival. Overall, it is a very good value for money hotel. The picture is from room 8.

I was a bit disappointed with the eggs on my breakfast because for the amount of food that was on the plate, the yolks were very small, and believe me, there was a lot of breakfast on there. Might sound trivial, but that's what I would have liked bigger yolks.

Great welcome, single room, but very clean and cosy and it had everything I needed, including high quality tea/coffee, which was appreciated. Very comfortable bed, lovely linen and large, modern TV with HDMI capability. Bar was lovely and staff were so friendly. I had breakfast there, which was not included in room rate, but lovely and very reasonable. My only tiny concern was as a female travelling alone and my room being far down the corridor, the walkway to the room was in darkness too long, prior to the sensor kicking in. I also didn’t try the Wi-Fi, as my mobile didn’t pick it up, but this wasn’t an issue for me. Lovely, hot shower. Far exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and lovely, chatty staff. Lots of free parking and very well located for travel to the West End, Braehead, motorways and Loch Lomond. Very good quality for the money. I would return.

The staff were lovely, the room was small and clean though a bit noisy from the motorway. The food in the Hungry Horse was great value for money especially the breakfasts.

The road outside was noisy from road traffic and I was allocated a room at the front, though I had requested a quiet room. I had to open the window as the sun was shining all day into the room so I needed to ventilate on my return. It was nice to have sunshine in Scotland though 😊

The hotel is very old but well maintained, And VERY popular with the locals. The is very friendly and helpful. One even offered to be my guide during the stay. I have made friends with all, The scottish people are friendly, and helpful always. The room I had was a single, Not real big, but adequate for one, and very inexpensive, I cannot say enough good about this place. Hopefully someday to return.

Transportation is by bus or taxi. As an American, this was a new experience. However, driving on you own is not a good idea,

The location was excellent for our needs Restaurant providing good value food. Staff extremely helpful.

Only minor points but together do add up. There was no mirror near an electric socket so hairstyling was extremely difficult. The accessibility feature was great but the washbasin was a joke. It was so small you could barely wash your hands and it was impossible to fill a kettle. The wet room shower was fine but a small gate proved difficult to stop water spraying throughout. The floor in the shower was very spongy. The lift was not working and proved a major problem.

This was a perfect location to drive in and out of Glasgow, avoiding the city. I found all staff and the assistant manager helpful, welcoming and friendly. Even though there is a function room and restaurant, l never heard any noise. It was perfect for my needs. Ps..note Sat Nav takes you to the golf course, you can easily drive past it, as my taxi did. Its on the main road.

The price and food for a full scottish breakfast from 8 to 12 was only 3 pound 45p and had other things to have just like different from other hotels pay only what you want and got my room for 3 day 95 pounds.

Only thing was bathroom when had shower water went everywhere so we had to dry it up all the time and the flooring when you had a shower we felt we where going thought it as it did need to be looked at ,but everything was good lotes of towels and give you tea coffee in the room bed was clean and big and our room was 1 on first floor they called it the family room ,2 bed room 3 beds ,good for a family and meal s very good cheap to.

David looked after us at breakfast nothing was any trouble for him he was friendly and professional made you feel comfortable also the night watchman was also so kind as I thought I misplaced my key he told me don’t worry we will sort it I would recommend this establishment to all my friends and family and it was a good Scottish breakfast fair value it would have cost a lot more in your travel lodges great place to stay will go there again nice clean

Great location central for shopping. Restaurant on site with varied menu and reasonable prices. Single room, small but with everything you might require. Room was warm and comfortable on arrival. Superb bed and bedding. Huge TV big plus for me. Piping hot water at all times. Free parking. Restaurant on site. Helpful and friendly staff.

Post code provided at time of booking was incorrect and I had to phone the hotel for updated post code and directions.

the room was clean tidy and with a comfy bed, although slightly small a few extra square feet would have made a difference. the room was clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable. the staff were helpful and very welcoming, the found typical hungry horse fair. to be honest if i was in the area again for work i'd be more than happy to stay again

the room was a little on the compact side. in all honesty that would be my only criticism of the room. i was only there 1 night so cannot be to judgemental
