Breakfasts not provided. Convenient on street parking. Car essential to access places to eat and poor public transport availability.

Although the interior is comfortable and inviting, the exterior of the property is grim! More akin to a derelict building, but could be improved radically with a lick of paint and some render. Very quiet location except for aircraft noise. Immediately below flight path close to Glasgow airport, with flights starting at 6am.

+I was positively surprised with the bathroom, shower- I wish my shower at home had that pressure 😍. Room clean and ready for guest, bed was nice too, Coffee and kettle on board.

-I could hear other guests though or people walking by the stairs, wifi cost extra, they need a proper front door, building isn’t pretty on the outside.

Very clean small room. Tea and coffee facilities ,large TV. Plenty of towels

The owners of the hotel were lovely and we hope their business does well. There is no glamour with the outside of the building but the room was warm and very clean and comfortable. The only thing was we were unsure where to get water for the kettle and an extra pillow would be good but I'm sure if we had asked we would have been sorted. If we are ever back on Glasgow we would not pass this place. Excellent budget hotel

Don't let the frightening exterior fool you because what lies within is truly life changing. What it lacks in windows and fire exits, it gains in character and peacefulness. Staff was excellent always greeted us with a smile throughout our entire transaction. We also smiled. Except for Frig, he never smiles...well not since the accident down by the old mill

I was promised the room would be totally and utterly sound proofed with iron clad double hinged door locking mechanisms

I had my doubts about the hotel before arriving due to alot of negative comments left by previous guest's, the overall experience i had was superb. The room was clean and tidy, the lady at front of house was polite and professional at all times. I was staying for 5 nights, my sheets were changed atleast 3 times which was a surprise and there was fresh towels everyday. The bathroom was clean and the shower had great pressure.

There was a bit of a musty smell in the room when i first arrived, put this down to it simply being an old building. It was a little bit noisy being so close to the airport.

Very pleasant surprise. Outside and coming into the building doesn't look like much but once your in the room they are great. Large comfy beds, nice and clean and a very powerful shower. Location was good for central Glasgow however the new ulez coming out will ruin this for travelling by car.

The room and en suite were very clean and comfortable. It was also very cost-effective and I did not need to pay for the wifi

I could hear nearby traffic from my room and also what sounded like the occasional train. The exterior of the hotel was not very welcoming - though the room was far better than the outside let on

- Clean building, rooms and linens. - Good ensuite in the single room, great shower and all soaps provided, clean towels. - Comfortable beds, decent bedsheets. - Very friendly staff.

- Bright lights in the bedrooms. - Bit of a wait on arrival. - Not the most quiet building. - Building works going on, although no noise from this. - Paint peeling on windowsill.

Rooms are spotless - I stayed in a triple and then a single. Both had lovely bathrooms. Especially impressed with the showers. Toiletries provided were very good ones, not the cheap stuff you often get in budget hotels. Fresh white towels were changed daily. Beds were comfortable and TVs worked well. Lots of tea and coffee sachets provided. The staff member who greeted me both times was very helpful and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Location was perfect for visiting nearby family. Windows in both rooms could be opened which I like - I don’t like being in a room with a sealed up window. Given the cost it exceeded expectations.

Outside is quite shabby so I was surprised at the standard inside. But they have builders onsite upgrading the bar area so I expect outside is to follow. Whilst checking out after my first stay I noticed that there is a leaking soil pipe to the front of the property which I pointed out to staff. They were already aware. I think it should be treated as an emergency. I actually tried to cancel my second booking 3 days later because of it but missed the cancellation deadline. On return the pipe was still leaking.

Like all the other reviews, the room was absolutely spotless, a massive double bed and a spotlessly clean bathroom with the best shower I've come across, it had a small shower head and a massive deluge head with lots of high pressure hot water

The initial appearance of the hotel makes you feel a bit weary, it could really do with a face lift
