Staff were really lovely and breakfast excellent.

There was no top sheet on the bed and our concern was that the duvet wouldn't be washed between guests. The other problem was that there was no lock/latch on the bathroom door and as it was warm we had to have the bathroom and bedroom windows open and the bathroom door kept banging with no means of shutting the door with a latch, so we had to find something to prop the bathroom door open to stop it from banging. Apart from these two problems which may not apply to the other rooms and the lack of top sheet may have been an oversight we enjoyed our stay.

I was a bit worried after reading some bad reviews but would happily come again. Enjoyed my stay at The Waverley Hotel. There's no frills but this is a proper English B&B that is clean, comfortable and the staff are welcoming and friendly. My wife had to leave early in morning but Gina prepared a Continental breakfast for her. Full English Breakfast was cooked perfectly and delicious. For the price, this hotel is excellent value. Location is ideal for many local amenities around Crewe.

The cost seems high compared to other local budget hotels like Premier Inn and Travelodge but their prices don't include breakfast. The carpets are a bit tired looking and some areas of flooring feel like it's about to give way.

Have stayed here on several occasions over the years when back home to visit family, always found the staff lovely, rooms always neat and clean. On this last particular visit there was an unexpected addition to our party and I was absolutely delighted to find we had been put in an actual full house next door to the hotel, which was immaculately maintained and ideal for our needs as we greatly value our privacy and was lovely having a garden to be out in. Looking forward now to our next visit.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good and a good selection was offered on the menu. The staff were friendly and we felt well taken care of.

The shower was old and very small even though the ensuite wasn't that small. A consequence of using an older building that hasn't had it's rooms updated in a while. The taps on the sink needed some repair as did the bathroom window. However, it was clean and useable.

Ideal for our party to self cater, but with the option of having food and drink from the hotel too. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and there was additional blankets supplied in case it got cold. Some toiletries supplied. Liked the fact that our apartment had a downstairs toilet.

It wasn't clear on booking that breakfast was not included with the apartment. Would have benefitted from a colander and another knife for Preparing food.

Breakfast was early... Latest you could choose time slot was 8.30am but the breakfast was excellent so I didn't mind that, and it gave us plenty of time to have a rest and let it go down before 11am checkout time which was a very reasonable time. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pillows a little uncomfortable but ok. Shower head was not removable which made showering a little awkward and shower cord was grubby. However, that was a minor irritation and I would definitely stay again.

Would have been nice to have removable shower head and clean shower cord and more comfortable pillows. Everything else was fab! Oh! More milk would have been nice for tea and coffee. Good job I brought some with me.

I stayed with my father in one of the two small houses attached to the hotel. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen and lounge.

The decor looks a little tired and could do with a new coat of paint on the walls. The downstairs toilet door scrapped on the floor and you need to lift the door to open it. The door needs a few mm shaved off the bottom edge.

Very near to train station. nicely presented and welcoming. Dated furniture but added to the Charm of the hotel.Breakfast was amazing, it kept us going all day.Great choice and cooked to perfection. We stayed an extra day. Staff absolutely brilliant nothing too much trouble.

We already knew that there was no lift but perhaps installation of a stair lift could encourage more less able clients to stay.

Nice, pleasant hotel which is extremely close to the train station and has plenty of amenities in the surrounding area. The staff are pleasant if not particularly chatty and the facilities are certainly sufficient for a good, relaxing stay. Breakfast was good though not spectacular. All in all, a good value hotel, and I will likely stay again.

Find having to book an exact time to have breakfast a little bit frustrating - when I'm away to relax I want the flexibility to go to breakfast when I'm ready!

The rooms were adequate and the en-suite bathroom was good. A decent TV and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe and lots of drawers. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices of cereals, yogurts, fruit, juices and the cooked breakfast was splendid. The staff were very attentive and the hotel is very popular and always seems to be well-booked.

There was quite a lot of noise from the nearby pub on the Friday night. However, when we closed our window that vanished.
