Wychwood Park Hotel and Golf Club

As a business user and a golf enthusiast i enjoyed that facilities available. I stayed for 3 nights and also took a client for a round of golf. Having both the hotel and the golf complex available was great. The area surrounding the course was fantastic and having been blessed with great weather for the week getting out in the evenings was a great way to unwind from the day.

The gym facilities are pretty poor for a complex of this size. Id say they have bascially just used a standard sized room and put some basic equipment in there. Any opportunity missed in my view as a complex of this size catering for Golf, Wedding and corp guests should offer more in my view.

Quiet location, just a few miles off M6. Pleasant park and golf course surrounding the hotel. Clean and modern feel. Airy and attractive lobby. Room was clean and a decent size, with very good shower. Dinner was very tasty and good value, breakfast was good too.

I didn't sleep as well as I hoped because of the mattress and a thick duvet with no separate sheet. However my partner did have a sound night's kip. No decaffeinated tea in the restaurant, and not a very good range of fruit juice etc in the bar. Reception could not provide a shower cap. But the overall impression was good.

A wonderful hotel set in a beautiful golf course and grounds with plenty of parking. Clearly, a conference hotel as well as an events venue.The suites we had were large and comfortable, and the large suite had a kitchenette. The bathrooms of a high standard. The breakfast was more than adequate, and dinner in the restaurant was tasty.The menu was limited.The waiters and their managers were superb.Well, dressed,well spoken and friendly. Katrina was a delight to deal with. The acoustics in the restaurant with large crowds of golfers having a good time well within acceptable behavioural standards the noise was intolerance. Reception staff were all great and no job to difficult. Reasonably close to the Bentley factory in Crewe was a bonus. The golf course looked to be of a high standard and sm aware Bentley hold corporate golf days here. For what it is, this was a welcome relief from many other hotels in the area. Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I thought the wedding I was attending was well organised by the hotel staff who without exception were friendly and courteous.

Although my room was immaculate and clean generally, however unfortunately the carpet hadn't been vacuumed very well, I explain, whilst walking in my room before putting on my shoes I noticed a considerable amount of human hair had stuck to the bottom of my socks. I imagine this was an oversight of the cleaner. The other area that needed attention was the skirting boards and probably 6 inches at the bottom of the bathroom door was rather grubby.

The staff (although lacking in experience) were extremely friendly and helpful throughout and went above and beyond a number of times during our stay, the food was excellent and the rooms comfortable and bright. Excellent Shower!

It was a little noisy at night over the weekend due to weddings becoming in-room parties till the small hours by the sound of it! - I would also suggest adding privacy glass or voils to the ground floor bedroom windows as we had to keep the curtains closed when getting ready :-0

We were upgraded to a Superior Room ,but guess that a lot of the rooms are clean and spacious -like ours! Comfortable big bed -had two excellent nights sleep. The hotel is quiet and relaxing, set as it is at the centre of a golf course .We are not golfers ,but just enjoyed the ambience of the break. Nice breakfast ,relaxing bar ,helpful and friendly staff. The hotel has a classy feel to it-but set at a reasonable price (via Booking.com ) -particularly seeing we stayed on a weekend! Will return.

The room, including the en-suite bathroom, was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was roomy and easy to use. We asked for a quiet room with a view and this is exactly what we got. Finally, our booking included breakfast and I must say I was very glad we made the effort to get up to take advantage of the superb buffet. The choice of food and quality was very good indeed.

The decor and grounds were fantastic. there was a lot of space and choice of areas to sit in. We felt like we were on holiday!

No air con in the room on one of the hottest days of the year so far! The breakfast organisation was not good and tables needed clearing quicker. We had to find a table ourselves which was a chaotic process.

The decor and space to relax within the hotel,the accommodating, professional ,helpful customer service from staff. The spacious twin room , iron & ironing board! , excellant shower,well placed sockets and lighting .

Would have preferred breakfast to have finished at 11:00 during weekend and Bank holiday however that is personal as sometimes like a relaxing morning after a late night !

The size of the room was great value for money, especially since we booked on the day of arrival. The bed was really comfortable and a great size

The lights seemed to all be connected. We couldn't seem to figure out how to turn some lights on and others off. The bathroom light only seemed to come on when the main bedroom lights were too. There was also rubbish left in the tissue box from the previous guest, we put our hand in before realising.
