Our room was located in converted stable blocks. They were self contained, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The delicious breakfast in the morning is cooked freshly by a wonderful, helpful guy called Ron if I remember correctly (sorry if I’ve got that wrong!) He was lovely to talk to and very knowledgeable. He directed us to an antiques place just up the road from the Swan Inn as we’d loved all of the quirky trinkets that have been collected by the owners in the pub itself! You will not regret staying here! It’s one of the most beautiful pubs I’ve been to! Thank you Swann Inn. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved the character and setting of this pub. In a beautiful village location and the pub itself was a lovely old building. The rooms were clean, a good size and well equipped. It was nice to be separate from the main building too.

We ate at the pub in the evening; and it was a lovely meal in the main. My partner just had a slightly sub standard piece of belly pork. All other food was great. Also bigger cups on the room would be good.

Lovely room. Great breakfast. We stayed because we went to a wedding close by. And they were so lovely leaving the key in the door of our room so we didn’t have to come in the middle of the wedding day and just access the room later in the evening. Didn’t catch the lady’s name she was hosting breakfast the next day. She was so so lovely. Thank you.

What a find..!! Lovely pub in stunning surroundings, located in the beautiful Cheshire village of Wybunbury. Our room, like the pub was spotless and nicely decorated. The interior of the pub is 'oldie worldy, oozes charm and is very welcoming. Parking is right outside the room and very short walk to the pub entrance. Food was exceptional - had Sunday lunch, which was nice and hot and good variety of fresh vegetables and good size portion of meat. We had full English breakfasts on both days of our stay, and they were lovely. The service was without exception excellent and the gentleman who did our breakfasts (Ron) was a real character lovely man! Overall one of the best places we have ever stayed at, will definately be visiting again.

There was nothing to dislike about this pub. The whole experience cheered my wife and myself up, having come to the area to attend a family funeral.

A delightful place to stay. The rooms are ground floor chalet style in an annex to the pub. The minute I walked into the lovely room I wanted to stay more than the one night we had booked for. The Swan Inn is a popular, historical, busy, village pub with lots of atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, the room beautifully decorated and it was very quiet. A lovely ensuite bathroom. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The evening meal we had was plentiful and tasty. A good menu to choose from. Will definately stay there again in the future as a base to explore Cheshire.

We stayed one night on the way to Chester. We paid a really good price for the room. Room was very clean and was a really good shower. Restaurant meal was excellent and reasonable in price. The breakfast was also excellent. We had toast and a choice of cereals as well as a full english breakfast and we were asked if we wanted refills for the drinks and toast. Very friendly bar staff and restaurant staff. Car Parking is on site and is free and the spaces are just outside the rooms which are away from the main pub.

We only stayed one night and we can't really think of anything that could have been better. You can hear the village church bells during the night which chime on the hour and every 15 minutes. I only heard them about four times during the night so they didn't bother me at all and my husband didn't hear them at all!

there was nothing I could fault. We booked dinner for Boxing Day on Boxing Day morning. the staff did everything to make it happen for us tired travellers. they were cautious saying that due to a busy time some items on the menu would run out, but by the time we sat down, they had everything we wanted. the rooms were so comfy and cute, with very clean bathrooms. all the staff was amazing. It was a proper oldy-worldly pub experience which becomes rarer these days. this is the place we will book when visiting family up north going forward.

the pillows were a little hard, but that wa steal ly because they were so new and fresh…so. it really a bad thing.
