Great location. Recently renovated. Staff friendly and attentive.

Breakfast finished at 9.15am which is too early for a Sunday morning.

Breakfast was good, cooked for was made to order, so fresh. Staff pleasant and friendly. It had the necessary facilities for what I wanted. The location was lovely, tucked away and quiet in the countryside.

While staying there, I only had one issue. The room next to mine everyday and evening had the telly on very, very loud which was impacting me in my own room. By the Wednesday (13th), I had raised this with reception and they were very kind and professional dealing with the matter and advised that they would speak with the other party. However, the issue had not been resolved and continued to be an issue until the end of my stay.

I liked the room, it was clean and pleasant and loved the bath was very opulent

I would have preferred more of a spa, we were expecting a jacuzzi etc so was a little disappointed with that. Whilst the breakfast, was nice, I think the price was a little steep. Also, veggie/vegan options need to be more off cheese and mushrooms are all well and good but with the price and opulence of the place I think a more varied menu could have been on offer. Also, not really accessible for a yorn with mobility issues, wheelchair

Breakfast staff tried there best but appeared to lack in knowledge and skills required for waitresses, think they could do with some leadership in this respect. Can't comment on evening meals as we never ate in. The above comments are meant to be constructive rather than just "moaning". We certainly did enjoy our stay and shall recommend and come back. Very impressed with the gym equipment, far better than a lot of other so called gym facilities provided by Hotels.com Many thanks to all.

Car park near to the entrance. Quick check in and room ready. Lovely lounge and conservatory. Comfortable bed. Food was excellent throughout our stay and I was particularly impressed that breakfast was cooked to order.

The bedroom decor was tired, but in the present climate I can understand that it is not top priority. Little things such as only 3 tissues left in the box should be noticed. There was also no information in the room about time of meals, or how to operate the tv etc.

beautiful surroundings and the view from our superior room was absolutely breathtaking. We have to give outstanding compliments to the chef as each course truly was of high standards and bloody gorgeous . very relaxed and enjoyable experience and definitely somewhere we will be sure to return back to

extremely high prices for drinks. we were absolutely shocked at the bar when a gin & lemonade and a pint of larger came to £31.00 and upon double checking we weren’t incorrectly charged we learned that a gin was not short of £17.00 whilst a pint was £8

Staff very friendly, swimming pool area very clean. Breakfast was really nice 👍 Dinner was good. Good shower !! Very good fan in room.

The rooms need to be updated ….furniture was a bit of a mush mash. As the hotel had a function on (Thursday night) after dinner we had no where to go but back to room as they had taken over the outside balcony area & bar area & conservatory which was a shame as we would have liked to have sat somewhere for a drink and enjoy the evening for an hour or so.

We have been there a few times now and have never been disappointed, the staff are so friendly and helpful, good food, clean and comfortable, there is a swimming pool and gym which are free to use, also you can have beauty treatments which I haven't had yet, amazing views of the countryside from the lovely conservatory

There was nothing I didn't like only maybe our room wasn't as good as our usual stays but that was my fault for booking a standard room when we usually go for a deluxe one
