The staff could not have been more helpful, we were a group of 10 with only one English speaker and they were very patient when it came to ordering etc as it was slower than usual. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The car park has good access to the hotel. The food was great, both for the evening meal and for breakfast.

We had booked a table for 8:15 so it meant that by the time we had finished our main meal the kitchen was closed, and we couldn't have dessert. I think if we were able to book the table at that time and we were a large group of 10 people, we should be able to 'finish' our meal properly.

The property is very quirky with lots of little features, the rooms are exceptionally clean, probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in for a good while. The room was refreshed for the second night not something you see as much now. Breakfast was brilliant.

The hotel is based with a nightclub, noise was not an issue however I wasn’t overly keen on sharing the beer garden with a load or drunks as I don’t drink, also checking in is through the nightclub so if you check in later past 9pm on a Friday or weekend you need to get through the club which is don’t think is acceptable the hotel entrance should be separate, along with its own area for hotel guests not wishing to listen to drunk idiots shouting. Breakfast times a bit rigid, not being able to have breakfast on a weekend until 9am is a bit late if your wanting to go early.

Easy to find. Disabled parking right next to the rear entrance (I'm disabled, but mobile with limitations) Very warm welcome, lovely, clean and comfortable room with good en suite bathroom, Good breakfast. Close to a good variety of restaurants and pubs.

Bathroom - the floor tiles and shower base were lethally slippery when wet. I always take my own non-slip shower mat away with me, which is just as well otherwise I would not have been able to use the shower as I can't grip well with my feet/toes. A bit noisy but due warning was given as it is a music venue. Very hot in the room even with the heating off and a fan on, visit was in early May, and not very warm weather.

The quality of the rooms was very good - we all found them recently refurbished and in good order. The location is superb for visiting Swindon but there was a downside, one that is likely to be only a problem on a Saturday

The noise from outside our bedroom window. On Saturdays the pub runs a disco that goes on to the early hours of Sunday with last orders at 3 am! Surprisingly we didn't hear any noise form the disco itself, our room was at the end of a a corridor but the beer garden below was noisy as disco goers that smoke and people looking to cool down, congregated in that area.

Lovely room and great breakfast

We expected noise because of the location while the venue was open and a bit afterwards but I think we were a little naive about other noise that went on all night. Sounded like bottles being thrown into bins and lots of banging about. The other thing was that the room was absolutely boiling. It was a hot day but air con would make it much more comfortable and maybe lessen the noise from outside with not having to have the windows open.

The pub part of the hotel was well decked out, interesting and comfortable. It was a place I could see myself drinking in, day or night. There was also more 'hotel' than I was expecting - two floors. The room (a superior single) was clean and comfy with a good view over Swindon (rear-facing). The pub turns into a club until 3am, and I came prepared with ear-plugs, but as I was on the top floor at the rear, I couldn't hear the club at all - just the chatter from the beer garden. I wasn't disturbed at all.

The single bed was on the small size (width-wise), but other than that, was comfy (I'm a slim-ish 6' 1"). The sash windows only opened upwards, so the unique suck/blow of having them open top and bottom couldn't be achieved - but I'm being super-picky. Lastly, more milks to go with the kettle - I could only manage two dark cuppas.

Lovely hotel with excellent facilities restaurant and bar and great boutiques and pubs outside lovely people on the south side of town 20 mins walk from Swindon train station up the hill

My only niggle A lot of people staying at the hotel for the international air tattoo at RAF fairford but breakfast wasn't untill 9am so most of us couldn't stay sadly for breakfast ,knowing this it would have been nice to have breakfast earlier for the guests When ur paying a premium £90 to stay usually £59 which I have no problems paying u just expect a breakfast but sadly not ,it hasn't put me off staying at all Wetherspoons is down the hill (the Savoy) so manage to get a breakfast at 8am but I would have like to have a breakfast at the hotel and try the legendary breakfast

Had a really nice weekend away ,the room was clean and had been newly decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful .We enjoyed having a few drinks in the evening in the bar which turned into a night club 😀 breakfast was included we had a full English which we both enjoyed .The carvery on the Sunday was amazing ! Proper homecooked food the cauliflower cheese was sooo good .

I can't complain about my stay it was really nice , I would only say be aware that do have live music and functions going on so you will be able to hear the music .

The room was spotless, modern and well equipped. There was a hair dryer, kettle and USB sockets which were useful. There was music downstairs until 3am (Saturday) but we were out until then anyway. However that is worth keeping in mind if you want an early night. Breakfast was very tasty, you pre select it the day before and the choice was good. The location was perfect for Swindon old town with plenty of bars, clubs and restaurants nearby

Nothing major to note. There weren't enough cups or glasses out at breakfast time to use for the tea, coffee and fruit juices but after asking the lady on duty got some more no problems

Lovely welcoming hotel, comfortable and clean room, excellent breakfast. Everywhere was beautifully presented. Due to awful traffic, we arrived too late for dinner there, but the helpful staff recommended another local hotel which served food until late.

The hotel had music until very late - which they were up front about. Whilst the music didn't bother us, my mum (who had a room on the top floor) was kept awake by people talking outside until the small hours. We stayed on a Fri night, and I expect on other days it is unlikely to be an issue. I do not blame the hotel for this - they have a business to run - but if you plan to stay a Fri or Sat night, maybe take earplugs!
