Edinburgh City Suites

The location was perfect for city centre & Haymarket station. Beautiful large studio apartment with spotless kitchen and very comfortable bed.

Check in not great . There are 3 doors , each with its own code . You get each code by telephoning at the property door. So you are trying to type in a number while on the phone … for each door …..surely it would be better to text or email the numbers prior to arriving .

Fabulous flat in a fabulous location

Check in .Emailed and phoned to ask about check in....no reply. Arrived at 3 phoned again to no reply. Eventually made contact but must b an easier way 2 check in.

Good location. Fairly quiet street. Close to good restaurants. Close to Haymarket train station. Easy walk to Princes Street. The room was large and had all of our necessities close by. The lock system was great. The bed was comfortable.

One night there were guests in the adjoining room and either they were not aware of other guests or didn't care. They were noisy and slammed a few doors. We stayed 5 nights and did run out of the complementary coffee and milk, but on the 4th morning we did see the housekeeper and she replenished our supply.

The location, check in and facilities. I was very happy with the tea making facilities. The property will be really cosy I imagine in the winter months. Lot's of mirrors which alot of properties often lack.

The bed wasn't overly comfortable but thats just to my requirements, some people prefer to sleep in a harder bed. It could have been cleaned slightly better as I found quite a few long dark hairs (in the shower and on the pillows). I also couldn't get the TV to work very well as the signal kept going.

Great suite with plenty of room, it was very clean, everything was in good working order, and the location was great.

A lot of stairs, also the unexpected additional £100 fee that was immediately charged to my card which would be non-refundable if there were any damages to the property. I took videos of the room before and after my stay and the amount was refunded the day after I left without issue, but that's quite a lot of money to charge on top of an already quite expensive hotel suite. I've heard of automatic charges occurring after the property was damaged, but the up front charge was unexpected. I really enjoyed my stay, but I'd hesitate to book again for this reason.

Always love a place that has a separate area for eating and having a microwave and fridge is brilliant. The boiler is really effective hot water very quickly although the got and cold mixer was round the wrong way in the bathroom but the radiators aswell very quickly warmed up the room considering the high ceilings. Bed was comfy as was the sofa. Overall would stay again

Hardwood flooring with stompy upstairs neighbours was the only real issue. Had requested top floor for this reason but in fairness it did say if possible so fair enough. No recycling options (that i could find) was a strange one. The checking in is rather awkward to have to be on the phone to recieve the codes whilst having bags and putting in said codes is a bit of a juggling act. Other than mentioned above its just little touch ups a few dirty marks on walls, cracks in plaster, a light bulb went in the bathroom and the flush wasn't quite working (only 1 on a 2 button system). Also would've been nice to see someone on reception at some point but only saw a cleaner on checkout

It was very clean, tidy and very well presented

There wa sonly a door between our room and next door and the 2 young girls starying there came back at 2am put on loud music and had invited a couple of young men to stay the night

Location, close to literally everything food drink shops and attractions, the size of the place, 2 bathrooms, nice recliners, comfortable beds Nice and clean Towels changed daily Would definitely stay again

No tea towels or a cloth just to wipe around the kitchen area Unable to open the windows apart from one water in the shower took ages to drain away Could do with some tasteful blinds at the front window to stop everyone looking in which did become a bit annoying at times, other than that everything was good

Exceptional location, very close to the main touristic objectives, to the stores, pubs, and restaurants. Also, at 10 minutes walking distance there is a touristic agency from where we bought 1 day excursion to Loch Ness and tickets for the city tour bus. At the property's entrance there are plenty of free flyers with the main objectives and amendities. Very quiet and very clean location, very generous room size, confortable matress, very well equiped chicinette.

The location is excellent for transport, being very close to the airport tram stop and lso Edinburgh Haymarket station. There are a wide range of excellent restaurants and even better breakfast cafes such as Milk and Nice Times on Morrison Street. Being slightly away from the Royal Mile was a blessing at the time we were ther (Queen's body at catherdral) and allowed us to explore other areas of the city. It was a reasonable walk to the old town.

We stayed in the smallest room in the accommodation which couldn't really be descrbed as a suite. It was a very comfortable room with a few extra facilities. Fine for us as we didn't really expect or want to prepare food. The use of a key code was an excellent idea but an earlier contact email would have been helpful. Our plans for arrival had been thrown out of the window by the Queen's body arriving the same day as us!!!
