We arrived in the middle of the night and the staff was exceptionally helpful. Took us all the way to the apartment door and even offered to help with luggage! There is a little café at the corner that offers full Scottish breakfast. And they are really nice!

Great location, about a twenty-minute walk from the Royal Mile. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a dishwasher, oven, stove, refrigerator, and a variety of kitchen equipment. There are also a washer and dryer available. The unit is large and friendly. There are several convenience stores (Tesco, Sainsbury's, and Co-Op) nearby. The bathroom door got stuck resulting in me being trapped inside for over half an hour. We had to call a staff member who was on the night shift to get me out of there. The young receptionist was kind and tried as much as he could to help but didn't really know what to do. My husband, who happens to be a great handyman, worked for long minutes to solve the problem with the door. He disassembled the door frame in the middle of the night using the suitable tools provided by the staff member. Due to this unfortunate incident, which not only deprived us of going to sleep but also caused distress after a long and exhausting day, we got compensated for the first night. The staff members were extremely kind and pleasant, and they were accessible through WhatsApp for any assistance or inquiries.

The fridge was okay the first night. The next day, not sure why, it thawed, and water pooled around it. Luckily, the products we bought remained cold. A staff member came right away, checked things, and cleaned up. After that, the fridge worked completely fine. The bed in the bedroom was really low and a bit small. The place didn't have air conditioning. The fan in the bedroom made a lot of noise.

The apartment and the whole block it was in was SPOTLESS. We got there around 4pm and it was evident they had been freshly cleaned not long before we came. Love that freshly mopped smell, whatever cleaning solution they use smelled amazing. We arrived on pancake Tuesday, so they were kind enough to provide a wee pancake mix and some fresh fruit and syrup for us to make pancakes. They didn't have to do that. There was also 24hr staff available. Bed was super comfy, the kitchen was well equipped with even a dishwasher which I didn't expect at all. Would happily stay again!

Honestly only thing I didn't like too much was the fact it was a residential area, so it felt a bit weird having a hotel slap next door to a block of flats. The thermostat also didn't seem to do much, or was roasting the whole time so we had to open the windows to let the hot air out. The door separating our living area and bedroom area was also broken and unusable, but honestly really small things.

Firstly, impressively Comfortable. Full option in-suit(especially a washing machine with powders, microwave and induction, even air purifier! Also, cozzy bed stuff as well as a sofa with table set and a TV. (Plus, lots of plug in spaces) Oh, I can’t skip the big toilet/Bathroom and hot water pressure. Moreover, professional staff members. I had 2 minor issues during staying. One was the blocked sink, the other one was card keys out of order. And under 5 mins, all of them sorted by the receptionists and the maintenance team. Hats off to them. Lastly, LOCATION IN HEAVEN!

Needed to leave there due to my another trip.

The beds are very comfortable and the location is perfect!

It would be good for them to inform guests there is no housekeeping for the duration of the stay and maybe provide spare towels, toilet paper, bin bags etc in the hallways at specific times for guests to sort out between them selves and a small hoover in the room. we have stayed before and it hasn’t been an issue as we have only stayed for a night or two but this time we stayed for 5 and it was starting to feel dirty plus there isn’t anywhere to dry all the towels, no radiators in bedroom etc. Or one minimal clean every 2 nights would be ample to replenish these things. For the price and brand I would have thought housekeeping would have been standard.

Apartment lovely and clean, nice decent size for family. Outside balcony amazing the views wow. Really good choice and selection of appliances, was not expecting a dishwasher or washer/dryer good bonus. All kitchen appliances lovely and clean. Plenty cutlery pots pans etc to cook for family.Really good size bathroom massive shower with large top shower head and also lower smaller movable shower head. Hairdryer mirrors ironing board dressing table all included.plenty of lights inside and out. Bed massive and super comfy, all bedding lovely and fresh and clean. Close to shops, tram stop and buses. Really nice place. Staff lovely said if we needed anything to get in touch but everything was perfect so didn't need to contact them. Definitely recommend nice quiet place, tidy communal area, working lifts

Couldnt get heating to work but to be fair was warm night so wasn't needed but if was to visiting in winter or colder nights would expect to be work. Shower glass screen only cover half the large shower which meant water was dripping on floor could maybe do with curtain or larger screen. Sofa bed should state its 2 separate singles rather than a together double was still comfy though. Bedding was a little too heavy and thick for the time of year maybe lighter bedding for warmer months. Mat at back door for when coming back in from decking as got white inside step quite wet and dirty when coming back in. Amazing stay and don't take these as negatives just couple things to look into for future

Location was great. We stopped one night for Bruce Springsteen at Murrayfield. Buses right outside on main road took us to Princes St and to Murrayfield. We walked back after concert and it took about 30 mins. You could get a bus or a tram but obviously there were massive queues. I'm not a very good walker and I managed it OK. The apartment had all the facilities you needed including tea and coffee, a full functioning kitchen, nice bathroom with liquid soap which smelt lovely. Hairdryer and towels supplied. Separate bedroom and bed settee in living room/kitchen which was comfy to sleep on. We also were surprised with a large surrounding verandah, but unfortunately didn't have the time to use it, but if staying longer would def be a plus on a nice sunny night. Talking about being hot they also supplied a standing fan. Only downside for some would be the busy main road, but I live on main road so didn't bother me at all and if patio doors closed it was pretty quiet. There are a couple of blocks to stay in so if it that would bother you I would mention when booking. Haymarket Station is about 10 mins away and there is a small Tesco on Fountainbridge which was about 5 mins which is handy for getting food and drink for apartment I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends.

Nothing i didnt like but just to point out that all the doors are fire doors so quite heavy to open and will close on own loudly. Not a big deal for most but some may find them too heavy.

Location of the hotel, it was spacious and clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful. I felt safe living there with my children. The bed was very comfortable. The refrigerator fully functioning 😊 and there is a Tesco Express just around the corner plus so many restaurants. I am glad to have lived there and I would be back.

I think the hotel is a bit pricey for what it offers. The facilities are dated. I had to communicate with the reception to fix something almost daily. Good thing they always fixed that immediately.

Several nice restaurants right around the corner. Convenience stores within 5 minutes of walking (Tesco, Sainsbury's). Old, tall trees in the courtyard (accessible through the fire exit). Reasonably quiet neighbourhood.

The main bed was fine - the fold-out couch bed not so much. The street is very narrow, so the noise from cars - especially cabs waiting to pick up departing hotel guests with their engines running - is amplified when echoing between the buildings (you can, of course, close the windows :-)

In the current faceless self-catering and IT interactive social media environment it was refreshing to actually have a concierge on-site to facilitate check-in and answer immediate questions. Not having to run around looking under flower pots for key safes, dialling silly 12 character codes, or making panic, last minute phone calls to a call centre where "your call is important to us", but no one picking up, etc. Also, the building is modern, giving the apartment a fresh and clean feel. The location is also quite convenient for the city, and importantly, quiet. Finally, given the extortionate rates prevailing in Edinburgh at the moment, this was good value for money.

A major safety issue (for our room) arose from the design of the bathroom. There is an ample shower (great!) but it is not contained and the water falls directly on to the floor, which consists of glazed/polished tiles which become EXTREMELY slippery. The problem is exacerbated by the floor not draining efficiently (not enough slope/incline to the actual drain), resulting in water running along the grouting and getting to other parts of the bathroom floor. As a minimum a rubber shower mat should be provided, or the tiles in the immediate shower area shouls be roughned to allow feet to have a better grip when wet.
