The beds are a bit big so make the room small there is no toothbrush or toothpaste there is no room service a bit expensive

Hotel was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Fantastic choice of food on offer at breakfast - the waffles looked amazing and seemed very popular.

Distance from our reason of visit but that was due to price of hotel

Breakfast buffet was awesome, with lots of options for different diets including GF and (nice) soy milk, and the staff hosting it were just lovely. Angelo especially - he always said hello to us and good morning to everyone. Check-in was fast and reception even printed out our tickets for the trip back. The room was spacious and modern and we had the option to decline housekeeping which is nice. The restaurant attached to the hotel (Sofia's lounge) was good too.

The coffee with the breakfast wasn't good.

Property is on mani st, no parking available on site….they charge extra £15 for per night parking…which are not told before. not good

Location is good, walking distance to the Royal mile. The rooms are fairly spacious for hotels of a similar price range. Staff are very friendly and very helpful indeed. There's 24hr assistance at the front desk, and we had no issues trying to get a taxi at 2 2:45am for our early flight.

Parking on-site - you only get access to it after check-in (understandably), so you do need to find nearby street parking before you can get this, we had to spin round a couple times before we figured this out as we were looking out for a hotel carpark. The daily breakfast is decent but not impressive.

Staff were very friendly and helpful when we had to checkout very early hours of the morning. It's good that you can leave your luggages in their secure store room. The room looked like it's newly decorated (shame it's a bit small) but was nice, clean and very comfy beds. Overall, it's adequate if you're only staying a night.

The room was small for a family of 3. If you want a car parking space I would advise to get there early as it's first come first serve basis (£15 per day), plus wait until it's empty too (their customer still haven't checked out!)

New, clean and well maintained. The rooms were well equipped and a good size, the bed was comfortable and the shower pretty good. Breakfast was good for a buffet style although selection of fruit and cereal a bit limited

Had real challenges with the billing. I had booked 3 twins for a group of 6 friends and the hotel insisted that all charges had to go on my card rather than be taken over by the other members of the group. They claimed the 'hold' on my card woul take 5 days to release so it was better if I allowed charges to be made and got my friends to pay me back. I could afford that but others couldn't

All the staff were lovely and really helpful, great breakfast (we loved the waffle machine), nice little gym, good location about 20 min walk from the centre, several places to eat and pick up groceries nearby, bus stop just outside the hotel.

Our room was too small once the sofabed had been extended, not really suitable for more than 2 people. The bathroom design is shocking - one sliding door between the bathroom and the storage area, this meant the bathroom door is never really closed when in use, as there is a gap in the middle. Also, easy to hit someone either side... The sink area is really hard to use, as the unit is way too deep, no proper hooks for towels and the shower screen is totally inadequate! The sofa bed was uncomfortable with metal edges. Overall, we would recommend the hotel but if you can pick a bigger room if more than 2 people (we had queen size with sofabed). With breakfast included it's definitely a good deal.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hampton by Hilton near the city center recently and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself was situated in a great location, just a short walk from many of the city's main attractions and with easy access to public transport. Despite its central location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing us to get a great night's sleep every night of my stay. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, with all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The bed was particularly comfortable, with soft linens and plenty of pillows, ensuring a restful night's sleep. But what really stood out to me during my stay was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Whether I needed assistance, they were always willing to go above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city center. With its excellent location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff, it truly exceeded my expectations in every way.

Location was perfect as visiting daughter at university and the bus stops were so close to either visit her in one direction or go up to Princes Street in the other direction. Also only a 15-20 minute walk to Princes Street Even though the hotel seemed busy didn't hear any noise from other rooms, it was as if you were in the hotel on your own while in your room Was able to control the temperature of the room and plenty of electrical switches especially beside the mirror when drying hair

Although given a bath towel each, had to share the hand towel, would have preferred my own hand towel Wasn't so keen on the gap between the bathroom and the wardrobe!!!
