The staff were excellent.' The breakfast was very good. The room was nice and big; the bathroom was modern and especially nice too. The hotel is in an excellent location with free parking.

Unfortunately the management are allowing dogs into the dining room where guests take their bar meals. This was extremely unpleasant especially due to the amount of dogs that can be in the room at any one time. For example when we were there some owners had two or, on one occasion, three dogs with them. As is commonly known most owners cannot usually smell their own dogs and therefore unaware of the offending odour their dogs give off, which is unfortunate for guests who find the smell intolerable. This was the case in the dining room during our second night whereupon, disappointingly, we found it impossible to eat a meal.

We only stayed for one night but the experience for us was great at every point. It's out of Great Malvern but close enough for a quick car trip, there's some great walks in the area if you want to stretch your legs either quickly or if you want to do that for a day - we did a short walk on a path towards the Iron Age hill fort after dinner and got a lovely view over a reservoir, so you can still get an excellent view without a massive effort on a good day (if you're able to get up the initial hill). Plenty of seating outside so we were able to enjoy our food outside. Ample space in the car park, we didn't have any problems either finding a space or getting in and out of it. Every member of staff we spoke to was friendly, professional and attentive, the rooms were clean and airy, information about our stay was plentiful and clear, and the breakfast included had a wider range of options than we expected and tasted great when it arrived. We were at the side of the hotel overlooking a small road and there was a larger one just beyond the front of the hotel but we weren't at all disturbed by them. We had such a good experience that if we come back to the area for another stay I suspect we'll be looking to return here first before we check anywhere else.

The WiFi was a little spotty in the room itself, but frankly that didn't bother us as we had no real need for it. Just meant we did our planning for the next day sat outside with a drink in the evening!

An excellent stay in this hotel positioned in the middle of the Malvern Hills with very friendly, helpful staff, excellent food - breakfast and dinner. We loved the location enabling us to have beautiful evening walks on British Camp providing us with lovely views to the Welsh Mountains and the Worcester Beacon. Good parking beside the hotel. Highly recommended

Room was comfortable but no air conditioning and curtains. With the windows open to help cool the room, the blinds rattled in the wind at night and disturbed our sleep and had to be stopped by using cushions on the windowsill.

The absolute best thing about this Hotel was the location, it was fantastic as we wanted to walk the Malvern Hills. We parked up on arrival and didn’t need to use the car all weekend as could explore right from our door step. The hotel itself was great. It was clean and well designed. We were in a junior suite so had a nice views, the bathroom had a bath as well as a shower which was a nice touch as after walking all day it was nice to soak the legs. We ate dinner and had breakfast and both were very tasty and good quality food. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those looking to see the Malvern Hills.

The great weather made for a good start for our brief stay with the ability to be able to sit outside on the terrace. We dined in the main restaurant which was warm in the sun but soon cooled with the aircon and a few strategically lowered blinds. Menu was varied and we all found something to suit. Room was very clean and spacious with a window that opened properly (it amazes me how many places this is not the case!).

I did not get the best night of sleep as I found the bed rather hard and unforgiving and the pillows lumpy - I usually bring my own pillow - note to self... Breakfast was good but the area for self service was cluttered with nowhere to place bowls for adding cereal or glasses for adding juices, so with 4 of us and others dipping in, it was tricky. My reakfast seemed to arrive well before the other 3 from our table which was odd - so by the time toast arrived I was pretty well finished.

On arrival we were immediately impressed by the free upgrade which we were given! The room had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom (which had bath and shower) was spacious with lots of immediate hot water. We used the restaurant one evening, great menu and drinks selection and the food was good, possibly on pricey side but as we don't go out much it was probably reasonable given the way everything has gone up. Relaxed and unfussy atmosphere which was continued by staff at breakfast time too. The breakfast was excellent and all the members of staff we met were friendly and helpful.

Although it wasn't a great problem the room was a little bit on the warm side although this was mitigated by the ability to turn down the radiator and open the windows. The switch on the electric kettle kept popping up but not a real issue and we got the hang of it in the end.

Excellent , friendly and helpful staff throughout . Bar and restaurant frequented by locals and guests as well as passing trade throughout the day and evening. Food very good. Everything kept very clean and tidy . Hotel maybe a little dated but that is part of the charm , anything else would be out of place given it's history etc

The shower was a step in to a bath set up which was more than a bit awkward for someone with mobility difficulties , especially after a longish walk in the hills.

The cooked breakfast was excellent - a nice variety, piping hot, quickly delivered, and a very happy and friendly lady serving. Room was spacious with a large bathroom. We asked for a cool room with opening windows which was provided and, additionally, the management provided a large portable fan to ensure that our room was nice and cool.

Some staff were not particularly friendly and gave the impression that they were over-worked. Perhaps it was just a "bad day". A smile and a few words can make all the difference.

Great location for access to the Malvern Hills and Wye Valley. Very comfortable bed, fabulous shower and a relaxing ambience.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing- had to choose a time to eat, but even then service was slow and forgetful, and a touch rude from the disinterested young waitress. Kitchen needs to learn how to poach eggs, steam vegetables so they’re not sludgy-soft and grill/fry meats so they not completely dried out ! Wifi was awful- almost not worth having

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we had an amazing time. Our first night away with our 6 week old, and we were well taken care of. Upgraded for extra cot space. At the end of the corridor so as not to disturb anyone, as requested. Excellent dinner and drinks, and they helped us sit earlier than our reservation, and move tables when there was a large group having a lot of fun. Great room, clean and warm, brilliant shower, comfy bed, good breakfast. We spend the day in the hills, but came back for a coffee before heading off, and they allowed us to sit in the closed side dining room because the main bar restaurant was busy with Sunday lunch. The two women on reception on the Saturday and especially Sunday were very friendly and helpful, and the whole trip, and care taken by the team here made our first night away as parents a totally enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back in the new year to stay again, and explore more of the beautiful Malverns! Thanks!!
