Nice and well-kept local village pub, spotless spacious en-suite room, well decorated, comfortable bed, with all the facilities you need. Hot shower. Welcoming staff, easy check-in and out, tasty good quality food and local beers, open fireplace in the pub. Bus stop just outside, good location for hiking. Great value for money

It was a quiet night in the pub and the rooms, but I expect it can be quite noisy on a busy night with nise from the pub and with guests walking up ad downstairs. They though do mention it in the Fine print section.

Close to our location, staff polite and efficient. the rooms were very clean and mostly updated and modern. the building is old and you can see this in parts… it is the character. The food, was very nice. excellent fish and chips. Our room ( family) had a fridge which was useful.

As i had dogs and getting them up and down the external stairs was a bit of a challenge… but we managed. the pub itself is locked up overnight and early morning so we had to use the ‘back’ steps.

The rooms are above a pub but even though it was a Saturday we didn’t hear any noise from the bar. The location was opposite a large green in a small pretty village. There was a Childrens play park a few minutes walk away and a small stream which was good for our dog to paddle in. Check in was quick and efficient. The staff and locals were all very friendly and kind to our dog. There was a good choice of food on offer and it was of excellent standard. We stayed in room 3 which was a small double, beautifully decorated in greys and silver. Thick curtains (something I’m fussy about) and quality white bed linen. Lots of storage space, flat screen TV and a well stocked hospitality tray. A small en-suite with a shower with large containers of body wash and shampoo. Fluffy white towels. Breakfast in the dining room was very generous with pastries, yoghurt, cereals plus a beautifully prepared cooked breakfast (one of the nicest I can remember having). Teas, coffee and juices and a couple of chew sticks given to our dog. Very good value for the price. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Chase to other travellers.

Lovely village location with the village green opposite. Dogs were welcome to stay in the bedroom. Meals were available although we did not partake. Very friendly. Community store behind the Community hall with lovely cakes, pies, sausage rolls and sandwiches available. Quite a good selection, too. Within a short drive to the Malvern hills and the British Camp and the Three Counties Show Ground.

After the journey from Hell - a Friday drive from Dover, all we wanted to do was check in, have a pint and something to eat. Check-in was efficient, friendly and C-19 compliant. Shown to our room - nice size, fantastic bathroom. Back downstairs and food. Beer was very nice, Wye Valley bitter was very smooth. Food was delicious and really hit the spot. We had travelled to Bishops Frome to meet up with an old friend, who was celebrating his birthday. He lived a very short distance from the pub and, after a very pleasant evening there, we walked back, climbed the stairs (interesting) and slept like royalty. Bed very comfortable. Towels in the bathroom were wonderful. Breakfast was very good. Fresh coffee for me. Nice tea for my wife and a good spread to set you up for the day. Ample parking. There was a TV - but as we cannot stand the rubbish that is broadcast, I found the radio options. WiFi pretty good.

At the price point, everything was great. The room was good enough, beer was fine, and typical pub food. .breakfast was lovely, and very necessary after the aforementioned beer the night before, and our host was very kind and friendly.

Nothing at this price point - remember this isn't a £500 a night luxury stay, so don't expect eunuchs and a champagne reception!

Breakfast was very good English style and nicely cooked. Dinner was enjoyed by all from a decent menu. The room was an upgrade with plenty of room, decent shower and pleasant decor with fridge and hot drinks available. Staff very friendly.

Visitors access within the pub fine but after hours staircase outside wasn’t great way to access rooms in the dark.

The pub is very old worldly , good location and on-site parking although if busy you would find parking a challenge . Nice real ales . Landlord was very friendly I couldn’t get an evening meal so booked a breakfast which is payable . I’m glad I did as for the money you pay it was an excellant hot breakfast

I was not aware that the kitchen was closed on Tuesday , it didn’t make much of a difference as I was late back so I guess it would have been closed then anyhow

Room is very clean and comfortable and breakfast was very good for my partner but I would have liked gluten free option for cereal and pastries so my starter was limited to sweet yoghurt. The main course was fine for me.

The bar staff were lovely and welcoming. The pub had a pool table. Bar prices were very reasonable. Food was good.

The Pub/B&B owner was not what I would call welcoming, he asked when we arrived whether we wanted dinner, when we said yes he said well it will have to be in the next 20 minutes as I have a table of 20 coming in. It felt a little bit like we were an inconvenience. Dead flies on the window sit by the table we were sat on for food. That being said he waited up until about 12.30am whilst we played pool.
