The rooms was small but very nicely decorated and had a lovely bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was served in the nearby Golf club (a few minutes walk) and had a good selection, however it was served between 7.30-9.30 which we thought was very early for a weekend however it was delicious and service was great. There was no food served after 6pm as it was a Sunday but we walked to the local pub (The White House) where it was pizza evening so all good!

The mattress and pillows on the bed could really do with a upgrade, as it was slightly dipping in the middle and pillows quite flat - a easy fix to make this room better!

The breakfast was very nice with a varied selection of cooked food, including a good vegetarian option. The member of staff who served us breakfast was polite, helpful and attentive. The self check-in is a good idea as we had to change our travel plans at the last minute to accommodate a family member and also Midhurst had diversions in place which made us arrive later than promised.

We only encountered 1 member of staff - the one who served us breakfast. There was no one at Reception to tell us where to go for breakfast. My family didn't like the fact that there was no door between the bedrooms of the suite.

Very Good Breakfast, indoor and outdoor choice of seating, The room was really cosy, was tucked away from the rest of the facilities and offered a really romantic night away. The bathtub in the bedroom was also a unique touch.

The communication between myself and the staff wasn't great. It was a good self check in service but instructions weren't very clear. It was also unfortunate that when we stayed there was ground works being done with diggers on the golf course, so that partly spoiled the scenery.

Excellent breakfast, nice location and a comfortable room.

We had a big problem with the arrival procedure because the key code we were sent did not work and was (apparently) an ongoing problem with Booking.com. It took us about 20 minutes before we able to get someone to come over with a new code! For anyone with mobility problems, the breakfast is served in the clubhouse, which is only a sort walk from the lodges - but far enough to get wet if it was raining!

Breakfast is good although as we have been visiting for several years it obviously has changed ie location of breakfast was busier than usual due to golfing group’s normally on previous the hotel side is separated in another room also less choice of breakfast than before.

The key box facility didn’t work then the key we was given from bar staff didn’t work eventually all was resolved lucky there was a member of staff on hand otherwise we would have been a bit stuck !! The room was not the best the carpet was very stained and the bed was very uncomfortable felt broken also silly things like a complimentary biscuit for one when there is two staying and noisy knocking pipes! This is a different room to what we normally have so was disappointed!

the outside of the lodge wasn’t welcoming you have this immaculate golfing range cut and planted to perfection then the lodge is just concrete slabs with a bench that’s not seen a coat of paint in years, the views from that patio were stunning we would have sat out there but it wasn’t inviting we also struggled with the heat inside we couldn’t have the windows open as the traffic is too loud put the fan on and it too was noisy just felt an upgraded fan (maybe dyson) that’s whisper quiet would have been a nice touch in a beautiful lodge. we can not praise your staff enough, polite attentive, nothing was too much trouble they are an asset to your company

Needed somewhere to stay whilst visiting family locally and this was perfect. Communication via email beforehand was clear about how to gain access with simple instructions etc, and how to get breakfast the following morning. Property was in a fabulous location with views over polo lawns and down to the Midhurst ruins.

A fridge to keep fresh milk cold would have been good (we never arrive anywhere with a pint of fresh milk for tea!)

The setting of the property was stunning, right on the edge of the property and you could see right across to the ruins. The room was just the right size and the bed was extremely comfy. All round a lovely place to stay

The only thing we didn’t like about the property was there was no shower in the bathroom. The bath was a great feature for the room, but made it hard to have a shower without splashing everything with water

Polo suite great as ever, been staying many years. Lovely location and view, nicely furnished suite. Nice staff and great patrons.

Carpet stains everywhere, which could be removed with some basic cleaning. The hole in the bathroom door has been there for a couple years now, not a big deal but this is an inepxensive fix that should not take over a year.

The club house facilities were excellent with superb quality breakfast .

Would have liked shower in bathroom. Pity bar closed for meals at 4.30.First day there was delicious coffee and walnut cake available but no cake after that despite request . Bar staff seemed too afraid to ask chef !
