Citadines South Kensington London

Lovely clean room and good location.

The hot water in the bathroom wasn't very hot. No plugs for kettle etc. in kitchen area.The reception team also allowed queue jumpers at check in, despite myself and others waiting patiently and served them first. Not the best first impression.

I stayed in Citadines for 4 nights whilst moving house. It was very conveniently located and it was great to come back to a safe and ordered room with some catering facilities. My room was very quiet and had a great view down the mews at the back of the building.

The bathroom was tiny and it was difficult to get inside the door and then shut it without being right on top of the loo. However it was perfectly functional and it was good to have a bath to relax in. Also, had I wished to have my room serviced there would have been an extra charge for this which was a bit disappointing given the room rate.

Brilliantly located for the museums and only a few mins walk from the tube. Great to have a fridge and a kettle. Perfect size for my son and I for our half term trip to London. He loved his free hot chocolate!

Perfect location in a vivid area full of restaurants, close to a supermarket and nice shops.

Although the property was presented as an apartment because of the small kitchen in the room, the feeling of the whole building is one of a hotel. Therefore we missed the cleaning service and the facilities of a hotel.

Good location, within easy reach of local shops to buy any necessities.(We brought our own breakfast so just needed milk) Everything was clean, neat and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the staff very obliging. Good shower too. The temperature of the room was easy to change around when necessary.

The toaster only worked when we held the handle down. (We mentioned it at the end of our stay and the receptionist made a note of it) There were only two teabags in the 'pot' - It would have been nice to have a few more. It would have been useful to have extra pillows in the room. We couldn't get the shower gel to work.

The location is great for Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. Thr staff were very helpful and the Reception is a nice relaxing space Apartment facilities were more than adequate for a couple of days or long weekend stay. Nice comfy bed.

The Studio Appartment (Room 108) and other areas of the Hotel are tired and in desperate need of a refurbishment. One of the biggest Hotel Groups... perhaps they need to invest here. Only one door on a fitted wardrobe in the bedroom. No extractor working in the bathroom means everything steams up and condensation is rusting/rotting the metal work and wood (MDF). TV in bedroom was intermittent working for a while and then turning off. Shower is great if you're only 5ft 6in as the hose won't allow it to go any higher. Banister rail broken and all the woodwork needs painting as it's down to the bare wood in places. Other than that it was ok...

Returning to London after 8 years and many visits in the past. Kensington and the Hotel were a perfect choice. Perfect stay, silence, very clean, a lot of shops and restaurants and the tube nearby. Hyde Park at your disposal. The room is large enough for London standards, fully equipped with sufficient tools for a perfect stay. For walkers, I recommend a long walk of about 4 miles to cross London through the Imperial College, Harrods, Piccadilly, The Strand, Saint Paul, up to the Stock exchange and London Tower. An experience from West to East with a lot to see.

The Citadines is in a great location on Gloucester Road and the Gloucester Road tube station. The Citadines has everything you need, including laundry facilities and a workout room. Although I didn't use those facilities, it's nice to know it's available. Each room has a kitchenette included. There is a good size TV. The bathroom is great with a great bathtub and hot water! Great views, too! The Citadines are very safe with card key lock and 24-hour reception. The Gloucester Road Tube station is a 5 minute walk to the Citadines, and it runs on the Piccadilly and District Lines. You are close to shopping, pubs, restaurants, Royal Albert Hall, as well as Museums and Hyde Park. The Citadines is located in the Royal Borough neighborhood of Kensington and Chelsea! It's a very safe area with beautiful homes that surround you. Who knows, you may bump into Royalty as Kensington Palace is within Hyde Park! I have stayed in other aparthotels in and around London, but the Citadines is the best place I've stayed in. I am already planning another trip to London in the near future and will stay there again. If you are a single female traveler as I am, this is one of the best areas and places to stay! The staff is AWESOME!! I give it a 10++++++++rating!!

There was NOTHING I did not like about the Citadines. I have nothing negative to say about it.

I really loved my stay here! the location is amazing we have options across the street and sometimes we would walk for 20-30 minutes to other places without being bored because of the amazing streets! I stayed with my mother and brother and it was comfortable, the staff is helpful and the reception is available 24/7. we loved the free coffee machine in the lobby. we appreciated the pay at property option! it was the first time to come to London and definitely wouldn’t be the last and we would book again in the same hotel! I loved that we had our own small kitchen and the sofa turned to a bed so it definitely perfect for me because we were 3. LOVE IT if you’re Arab I know you will like this property you have “ starbucks , different grocery stores , 2 arabic food restaurants, pharmacy” all near you and you can walk to the harrods in 20 minutes and the uber isn’t that expensive to other places from the hotel . book it now

location, size of the room, free coffee and tea and drinks at the lobby and reception!, kitchen facilities — cooker with pots and pans & cutlery and crockery—and fridge you can cook your own food if you wish! They also had umbrellas you can borrow at the lobby when it was raining. The Front office staff is the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with in all the hotels we’ve stayed in in all our travels around the world. They were the nicest, most patient, most helpful and accommodating. Giselle was the lady who checked us in and she was so lovely with all the other ladies and gentleman (who even greeted me on my birthday) who were on duty during our stay: April 7-12. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable and very comfortable. 🙏
