K Hotel Kensington

Everything was really good, from deco to the quality of the bed sheets. The room space is nice for a hotel in London. Location is excellent. Checkin SUPER EASY and FAST.

Breakfast for 15 pounds is not attractive, but probably it's the hotel business strategy. Cheaper to eat outside.

I did not eat Breakfast because they did not offer anything for vegetarians or vegan. This was really disappointing.

Absolutely perfect location. Two minute walk to Natural History Museum and V & A and Gloucester Road tube station which gets you straight to Victoria in 5 minutes. Lovely area in South Kensington felt very safe and thrilled to find Waitrose, Boots, Costa, KFC, Pizza Express and lots of lovely restaurants literally on the doorstep.  Shared a twin room with my daughter, and found the beds to be very comfortable.  No bath but a really decent shower. We asked for a quiet room and it was almost silent. I do know the rooms that face the street can be louder although the view would be better. We did have breakfast the first day which was a buffet but on further days, we strolled to Costa and other cafés just close by however it was more than adequate at the hotel. The staff were super friendly and accommodated us when we wished to add an extra night at the last minute. As a mum on my first trip to London with my daughter, I would highly recommend this as a fantastic place from which to easily explore London.

Nothing bad to say it was excellent.

Although in the basement, I was upgraded to a bigger room. Plenty of space! The bathroom was modern and I had good water pressure. The WiFi was good for the most part, but dropped out a bit in the evenings during what I assumed were peak hours. There was some noise from the street, but otherwise it was a quiet space. Fantastic location. Close to the tube, cafes, Hyde Park and museums. I also visited friends in the Chelsea area and it was ideal to be able to walk back. The team were incredibly lovely! Felt well looked after and in good hands.

The room could have been cleaner. There was rubbish in the room that was still there when I left such as a half eaten cookie and hair on the bathroom wall. The room was clean for the most part and I appreciate that these are easy to miss. I have sensitive skin and found the sheets itchy. This won't be the same for everyone so a very minor detail. The lighting was a bit odd. No lights in the sofa area and it was away from the windows. If a lamp was added I think it could be a cosy space.

Breakfast although optional appeared to be halal so no bacon or pork products. Also no bar facility.

nice clean hotel and spacious room, 5-10 minutes from underground, near supermarkets and good area. Polite staff. cleaned every day It was great that there was a kettle with tea and biscuits in the room, it helped a lot. we didn't have breakfast there, but the dishes looked appetizing

very noisy at night - right under the window there is active road traffic around the clock, but at night - very loud, sirens, motorcyclists, police, restaurants. It is probably better to take a room on the other side of the hotel. and there were stains on the fabric of the yellow chair

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and in a great location - closest underground is Gloucester Road which is around 5 mins walk. Very modern hotel. Plenty of facilities in the room. Tv, plenty of lights and plug sockets, 2 mirrors, tea & coffee facilities, hair dryer, wardrobe, safe. Bathroom was amazing. Also very good aircon. Supplied toiletries which was lovely. We stayed 2 nights and room was cleaned 2nd day with fresh towels. Hotel also had luggage storage which we used before we checked in & when we checked out.

We stayed in G10 the room is VERY small but we read that before we came. Also there is no window to an outdoor view (very difficult when trying to choose something to wear for the British weather) we did have a working window but it opened to an adjacent window of a guest.

The staff were very helpful, room was clean and well maintained, being a single room it was quite comfortable. Good location

The 6 or so days I was there, I never bought a cooked breakfast as it was only halal ie the non Muslim guests didn't have a choice of bacon and eggs as they were only serving turkey and eggs, instead of keeping bacon separate. I was in and out of the hotel quite regularly either going out for a cigarette or in the morning going out for the day. It seemed to me, the majority of guests I noticed in the building were not into halal food ie Americans, Europeans etc. so why would management appear to pander to a small number of clientele to the detriment of the majority of guests, as many do enjoy a good English fryup breakfast.
