Park Plaza Victoria London

The hotel is in a good location. Only a five minute walk from Victoria station. Quick and easy check in. Seats by the main entrance to meet and greet friends. The room was large, with a separate seating and bed areas. A nice big comfortable bed. We went to the bar (which like the rest of the hotel was very quiet, it being January and still some Covid restrictions, so not many guests). A large bar, comfy seats. All in all a nice hotel, no big problems.

There were some small cracks in some of the bathroom floor tiles and ceramic wash basin.. nothing serious.

The bed was huge and extremely comfy. We upgraded to an Executive King. I had requested a twin, but the King was only available apparently, though I was told the beds could be separated if I prefered. The bed was big enough though. The room was on the 5th floor and was very quiet. Facilities were good. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location was great. Close to theatres, restaurants and the underground.

Unfortunately, an electrical issue caused the main boiler to malfunction which meant we had no hot water on the last day. That was not good, but it happens. I also had to request pods to be delivered to the room for the coffee machine. They were delivered extremely promptly but really should have been there when we arrived.

Ideally located hotel, incredibly close to the underground, train and bus stations Victoria. All was within walking distance. Pubs, shops and restaurants are also nearby. I felt safe in the area. The hotel room was spacious, clean and quiet. Beds are neither soft nor hard - I slept very well all three nights. The room comes with a fridge, hair dryer, iron and an electric kettle. Bottled water, a limited selection of tea bags + milk and sugar were complimentary. There was an ice machine at our disposal right next to the lifts. Hotel staff at the reception was extremely helpful, attentive and professional. As our stay was short, we did not require our room to be cleaned. We got two wine bottles as a result :-)

I'm so glad we chose to stay at Park Plaza Victoria. We walked to the Horses Guard, Churchill War Rooms, Thames River, Westminster Abbey, St James's Park and Buckingham Palace. Hotel staff were very friendly and can book the Hop On Hop Off tour for you. The hotel is located around the corner from Victoria Station, and directly across the road from where the Harry Potter Tour bus collects ticket holders. The buffet breakfast was perfect. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with two children, 11 and 16, and we appreciated the extra space to spread out.

We couldn't access our balcony but were not overly concerned with that.

- Superb location - walking distance from Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace. Also excellent transport links via Victoria Tube, station, and coach station, and lots of dining options (and pubs) nearby. - Tasty breakfast with lots of options. - Really friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. - Plenty of shower gel/shampoo/complementary tea/coffee provided in the room. - Online check-on/check-out options were very useful.

- Restaurant menu options not very child-friendly. - No toilet brush in the bathroom. - More coathangers/hooks in the room would have been helpful.

Our family loved everything about this hotel. Rooms were immensely clean, breakfast was exceptional with so many various options to choose from, we tried the hotel's restaurant for lunch and it was amazing! We also had drinks at the bar and that was great as well. Everyone working at the hotel were so nice to our whole family, genuinely kind and welcoming. The location was perfect, and we immediately went and saw the "Wicked" musical just down the street. "Hamilton" musical is just down the street as well. Everything is walking distance from the hotel and our children had no problem walking . If in London again, we will definitely come back and stay here. The people working in this hotel is exceptional, honest and trustworthy people. I left something very valuables to me like centuries old jewelries. When i called to check if i left it there, i wasn't expecting a positive answer. But to my big surprise they have it in their possession and keeping it in the safe,, actually they texted first... ( shout out) to the manager of housekeeping for taking care of my stuff and patiently communicating with me on how will i get it back. I stayed with them for 4 days and going on a cruise for 12 days. After weeks of travel, i finally got home in Los Angeles and my lost jewelries is waiting in my table. Its amazing to me , that theres still a lot of people who are honest , trustwothy and very nice. Very attentive and friendly staff. (particular mention to Ginny & Victoria on reception and Mash & Robert at concierge). All were very customer focused. Very comfy bed. Location to Victoria Train station and associated shopping area. Ease to grab a cab to west end. Breakfast was good,

The lift got us stuck in a cycle between Ground and B3 floors when trying to get to 7th. Managed to open the doors with a bit of deft timing on the 'Open Door' button at B3. Breakfast was super busy, but that is only about timing I think. Tozi restaurant couldn't accommodate, even for resident. Bar prices a bit too 'West end'

It was a well laid out property with lovely communal areas, comfortable beds and generous supply of complimentary toiletries and refreshments in the room. Hotel was near shops and restaurants with a great mix of cuisines making it ideal for somewhere to eat.

Not a fan of the digital key. Inadvertently turned on the do not disturb notice so room was no cleaned after a long day out. Had to ring reception for clean towels and employ t bins.

Room was very good, spacious, lovely, well presented and modern. The view was of the building screens across the street at the front. It made very little difference to be honest, we don't stand and look out the window when in London. Very content with the room overall

We really have no complaints at all. Some of the chairs in the ground floor seating area will need some loving attention soon, I recommend inspection as some of the beading is coming off. If attended to now, it will be simple to fix otherwise it will degrade with children climbing over them
