What a delightful farmhouse B&B! Our room was spacious and comfortable. Our hosts were gracious and helpful. Breakfast was very good. And we enjoyed eating it at the big table in the formal dining room with the other guests. A great way to meet and chat with new and interesting people. Unfortunately, car trouble prevented us from exploring the nearby village after breakfast as we had to wait all morning at the B&B for the BAA tow truck. However, we enjoyed lazing in the sun in the front garden while we waited. All in all a very pleasant stay, car woes notwithstanding.

No complaints.

We stayed here as it was close to family members and we were heading north the next day on holiday. The location was good in this respect. We didn’t spend very long at the property, but thought it was an interesting old building with character. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was good. Full cooked option was enjoyed by husband! Carrie was courteous and helpful.

Not much space in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a real issue for one night. Towels could have been softer. Wi-Fi a bit unreliable.

This is a lovely, unique and characterful, well maintained old B&B. It offers a welcoming no-fuss place to stay if in the area surrounded by the open farmland out-front. The communal dining areas and lounge are relaxing and comfortable. The inclusive breakfast included fruit, cereal and the traditional English as you might expect.

The location is definitely for those with a car and like being away from other town facilities. Some rooms back onto the nearby local railway, but we were not disturbed by the low frequency of traffic. Rooms are over three floors, so stairs inevitable.

We stayed at Murcott Mill for a week whilst waiting for our house to complete. My son says the best thing about the room was the bed because it had all types of animals on. Breakfast was fantastic, loved the location next to the railway line and the walk across the cow field to the village, extremely comfy bed, good WiFi, lovely views. Staying here completely took away the stress of the previous week! Will be our first choice for family and friends to stay in the future

Host very pleasant and helpful. Offered a pot of tea in the lounge on arrival. She saw that the stairs might be a problem so relocated us to the first floor. Happy to provide fresh milk when we found that the Lakeland sachets caused a drink to curdle. Breakfast was very good and served hot. The location pleasant, nice garden to the rear. We had an appointment in Northampton the next day so we parked in the car park by the railway station and took a train ride in. All quite easy.

The stairs are quite steep. The shower did not run warm, so we washed using the small bathroom basin. We did not have time to make other arrangements. We informed the proprietor so that he could put it right for new guests. Outside work and scaffolding taking place. This affected the general appearance of the property but didn't affect our stay at all. Busy railway line at the rear. Noticeable but it didn't disturb unduly.

Oldie Worldly, but that’s it’s charm. Away from all the hustle and bustle. Middle of nowhere just outside a sleepy village. Beautiful home, welcoming to guests. Decor is eclectic and reminds me of the furnishings of the homes of grand parents. Clean and kept, whilst lived in. A collection of furnishings that have stood the test of time.

I didn’t have an issue but the stairs are quite steep and we were on the top floor.

I came to attend a conference and I was very unhappy that the conference hotel was booked. However, at the end I was extremely happy that it was booked and I spent a night in this place. Excellent breakfast like at home, very nice area, extremely calm and quite. Super nice and helpful owners. I recommend this place to everybody!

Nothing, all good.

The owners are amiable, the feeling of staying in a private house as opposed to a nondescript room in a hotel chain. Breakfast that is actually cooked for you rather than a self service cooked hours before. The personal touch at a reasonable price and a reasonable sized room with views over open fields.

The bathrooms are somewhat small and dated, but the benefits easily outweigh the downsides.

Great little gem of a place! Peaceful, beautiful area, friendly owners and had everything I could ask for. Especially loved playing fetch with the owners little dog in the morning. Made my day ❤️

I have no complaints. If I had to really clutch at straws, the single bed was a little small as I'm quite tall.

What a smashing treasure this property is! A gorgeous old mill, surrounded by absolutely stunning countryside. We booked this room as we were going to CRICK BOAT SHOW the following day (only 10 mins away from the Mill). Plenty of free parking outside the Mill. We were welcomed at the front door by the gorgeous host, who took us to our room on the top floor. Our room was lovely, clean and airy and had the most wonderful view. As we arrived late, our host provided information on local restaurants within Long Buckby, which we took advantage of. On waking the following morning, we went downstairs to have breakfast around a large table, which we shared with other guests. This turned out to be greta, as we met 2 of the loveliest people at breakfast, who were going to the same boat show and also loved Harley Motorbikes like us. Plus they actually lived near Liverpool the same as us! I had poached eggs and toast and my husband had a full cooked breakfast, both of which were lovely and set us up perfectly for the day. W would definitely pay a return visit and would have no qualms recommending this mill to anyone.
