Broadwell Guest House

The location of this B&B is in a quiet and peaceful area and perfect for the NEC which is just a 10min drive away. We were given a warm welcome and our room was exceptionally clean. We ordered our breakfast the night before and this was ready for us within minutes as we had an early start.

The shower was very small and awkward to get in and out but otherwise the bathroom was very good. There was only one comfy chair in the room and a very hard stool. The room decor, although clean, needs upgrading and I understand this is due to be done soon. When the upgrade has been completed I would happily award full marks for this lovely B&B.

Excellent location; perfect for the NEC and easy to reach. Breakfast was very good & you could virtually have whatever you liked (Bacon sandwich was a must!). The hospitality of the hosts was second to none; the personal touch really does make a difference. I'd stay here again without hesitation & this is one of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed in.

Exhibiting at the NEC Birmingham, excellent location, took less than 10 minutes to drive to the Halls. very little traffic on the routes into NEC. Breakfast was restaurant standard, with lots of choice, served within minutes of arriving at the breakfast lounge. Arrived earlier than expected and was allowed to leave all luggage in my designated room before heading off to the exhibition to set up for the show.

From arrival to departure everything was extremely well organised

Lovely friendly guest house. Great breakfast choices and very flexible. Super clean and comfy room. My bathroom was lovely and roomy, unusual for a single room.

The only negative was there didn't seem to be very many tv channels but no problem as I took an ipad. Some noise from the next door room kept me awake but ear plugs would solve that. These are minor problems. Overall it was an excellent stay and I would go back.

The property was in the perfect location for me and I liked the extra security of the automatic gates. The bed was very comfy, the room was a nice size and the bathroom and shower were a high standard. Hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was great in particular the bacon and sausage were very flavourful and perfect poached eggs.

Anyone not happy with their stay at Broadwell will not be happy anywhere. Peaceful location, lovely twin-bedded room very well equipped and spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast. Pub within easy walking distance, bus stop same distance took us to NEC. Could pick up buses to Birmingham, Coventry, Stratford. Definitely possible to explore the area on public transport. Nearest railway station a couple of miles.

The breakfast was fab freshly cooked full English breakfast plus lots of other items to suit everyone. very friendly service, could not do enough for you. the room for breakfast was so nice and clean and we sat at a table for two looking out towards the gardens

There was nothing I did not like the whole experience was just great.

Fabulous location, close to Birmingham City centre as well as many National Trust properties. Amazing value for money, hosts so kind, helpful and accommodating, excellent quality of breakfasts, fabulous room...couldn't have asked for more!

Perfect location in the charming village of Meriden yet very convenient for the NEC. Local amenities are great and the hosts are simply wonderful with exceptional attention to detail. Breakfast is delicious and the house and grounds are spotless. Lot's of help and advice on hand to make your stay run smoothly.

Clean and comfy stay. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was a great bonus and plenty to choose from, cooked freshly and served in a pleasent dining area. The location was great for access to the NEC both via car and bus. Would book again as was greta value for money.

Decor of room could do with an update but that's personal taste, and it didn't affect my stay negatively. Shower could be more powerful.
