Church Farm Accomodation

Beautiful location down an English country lane. Converted stable with horses as neighbours. Very convenient for NEC.Excellent cooked breakfast.

No hairdryer in the room was a minor inconvenience as was the noise from planes landing at the airport nearby.

Very convenient for the NEC. Under 5 minutes from the North car parks despite HS2 roadworks. Nice, clean accommodation, just the job for one or two nights business trip. Nice and cosy on a cold February night and imagine it would be a delightful spot in summer. Complete antidote to NEC,so very relaxing. Breakfast is in the house and you arrange a time in advance so if in a hurry you could be in and out quickly or linger if you have the time. Nicely home-made.

The pillows were a bit flat for me but I guess it is about personal preference. Bed was firm but comfortable and shower room was well equipped, actually more of a wet room. Could have done with a squeegee for the floor.

This place was very clean, presentable, warm and comfortable. Had a great night's sleep and a beautiful breakfast the next morning ready for our day. Camilla was wonderful and a great host, we even got to meet the horses and one of the cats too! We'll definitely be staying here again, especially as it's 10mins max from the NEC! Parking is available but a little tight - not that it phased me!

Not something I didn't like as it doesn't bother me but if you don't like the sound of airplanes taking off or landing, then this may be bothersome to you.

Lovely friendly host, nice breakfast. We had tickets for NEC which it was close to. Room was small but comfortable and clean, so fine for 1 night. Parking in the courtyard was a bit tight but we managed. A short drive to The Boat (pub) where we had a fabulous meal.

No hairdryer. On flight path so quite noisy. Small bath towel instead of a bath sheet. I found 2 used complimentary shower gels still in the shower holder from the previous guest.

We absolutely loved the fact it was tucked away and the style of house was so traditional. The rooms are so nice and your in a beautiful courtyard opposite are some stables so if you love horses you can relax and see them. Camila is wonderful so friendly and helpful to what you want to go and see, we asked for something quite but with facilities and the recommendations of a stunning village “Knowle” ticked the box. The breakfast was just perfect, honestly the best place we have been to for a while and to the point we are going to have a weekend away for pleasure. I can assure anyone for NEC or airport trips I couldn’t recommend this beautiful farm house enough.

Absolutely nothing it was perfect

Lovely, family run farm offering B&B with very friendly staff. We were received warmly by the lady of the house, everything was very uncomplicated and enjoyable. The farm dates back partialy to Tudor times and everthing is very charming. The resort world at the NEC, the airport and a few pubs are within a 30 minute walk and so is the train station.

The location is a bit remote so one has to drive to get to a pub or in our case the NEC or be happy to walk a bit. We did the latter and it worked fine. The general region outside the village Bickenhill around the NEC and the airport is a bit run down with lots of construction sites and a general feel of neglect. Could use some good, old cleaning, a sharp contract to Bickenhill.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the farm and found our allocated room both comfortable and clean. It was nicely decorated and most importantly, because it was very cold outside, warm and snug. We both had full English Breakfasts each morning and they were excellent - the host looked after us very well with plenty of toast and coffee refills. We were pleasantly surprised with the location as it was close to the NEC, so close that we could have walked there if we had wanted to.

Not a lot, only that we were in our VW Campervan and found the parking very tight. If we had used our other car it wouldn't have been too much of a problem. Watch the gate posts.

We had to leave too early in the morning to have breakfast but we were offered other things to take with us which we were pleased to accept. The accommodation was perfect for our overnight stay before going to the airport. It was very clean and comfortable and in very pleasant surroundings.We would definitely recommend it to friends and would use it again for our airport accommodation.

We can’t think of anything that could be improved, everything needed was provided and Camilla was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was excellent, was decent parking for cars. Uber to international is around £6 which is fine and taxi might have been less if I’d tried it. Bed was fine as were bathroom facilities. Breakfast was amazing too.

Room was a little cold but didn’t really look for a thermostat so might have been able to change that. Also it might have been cramped with the 3rd bed unfolded but didn’t need it so was spacious enough. Other than those minor cons it’s pretty faultless

Beautiful location and property. We were able to safely walk into the NEC mitigating the need to pay for parking. The rooms were cosy and our neighbours in the existing stables (horses) were friendly and welcoming too. The breakfast was excellent, everything we need. The family cat was also a delight.

It is very close to the airport. bu planes do not fly during the night. The surrounding road works were pretty chaotic, but didn't dampen our stay.
