The apartment is in a great location. It was so easy to find and get into the room with self-check in. Parking details were provided before we came and again easy to navigate and very cheap (£7 for 2 days!). The apartment was really nicely presented and everything worked well. Really good value for money. We had an issue with the door not locking on the Friday night when we were going out so I called Daniel who was very helpful and said someone would be over to sort it quickly. We went out anyway (testament to how safe it felt to leave the room unlocked!) and it didn't take long until he texted me to say it was fixed, great service.

The bedding was a bit dated and old, new linen would make this a 10/10 for me (but we still slept well). There wasn't a mirror near a plug socket so it's a pain if you want to use straighteners/curlers.

The location is perfect for being in Newark and the communication with the codes was very efficient. The space for a family was great. The decor is nice and we like the bath! There is parking by the river about 5 minutes walk away which is free overnight and you can extend online in the morning.

We've stayed before and the bed in the larger room is really hard, it needs a topper on it or better mattress. I was going to sleep in the single bed in the smaller room instead but that felt like it was on a slope! We also think a small sofa at the foot of that bed facing the TV would work well and there is room for one. When we stayed at Xmas it was £100 per night which was good value. This time it was £160 (half term) which we didnt feel was as good a value.

The apartment was truly a amazing. I loved the location from the showground, how spacious it was and the fact that we didn’t really need to bring much with us in our suitcase. Daniel was really great and looked after us and ensured we had extra towels and of course told me where the iron was etc. 10/10

Good location with two different train stations and near all restaurants Newark has to offer. The room was well-sized, clean, and had everything you could need. The staff responded to every request and even helped us with some luggage.

The room temperature control is not inside the room, so if you need additional heat, you must request it. I suspect it is connected to the building.

The property is a modern hybrid of a self catering apartment and a hotel room. You let yourself into the building and the room using codes on a key pad. The suite we had (Sconce) is spacious and beautifully furnished with a bedroom, bathroom and a kitchenette/lounge area. It gives you the option of using it as a base instead of just a room. Our contact Daniel was really helpful giving us suggestions for breakfast- The Gannet two doors down does exceptional locally sourced food- and nothing was too much trouble. First class customer service. We really enjoyed our stay and, as we visit the area regularly will be staying again.

Very good location with all facilities nearby. We went to a beer festival in Newark Castle gardens and the apartment was ideal for that

Some issues with the code for the room door as others have reported. This was quickly resolved. Minor issues in that windows don't open and the security light comes on at random. However, these are not significant.

A fantastic apartment on ground floor perfect for us. Extremely quiet to say we were on a main road. We were not quite expecting an apartment with the convenience of toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge. The only down side was we couldn't stay for the 2 nights due to illness but the hosts were exceptional in always being available for queries. Just one little niggle was the key code entry to the apartment. Took a little bit of mastering but managed it in the end.

The key code entry into the apartment - my husband and I have trouble seeing at the best of times and not that quick with entering the numbers but probably fine for the younger and more tech savvy generation.

Spotless room, excellently fitted out in a great location. A very pleasant café virtually nextdoor, and a pub with decent food a few yards the other way.

My room was on the top floor, up a fairly steep, but not long staircase. It had a lovely view out across the road - but this was quite noisy late on Saturday night.

Everything the sofa was comfortable the bed was so ft enough I do admit I didn't check to see if it had a toaster and sink until I got there but was well worth it.

The TV in The main room didn't work or connect to channels so It kept on getting lagg and the mini fridge may need checking it's very very warm

Very good situation, next door to a cafe for breakfast and an excellent ( if expensive) restaurant the other side. Room and shower nicely and tastefully decorated. Small kitchen area to make drinks etc. Owner Daniel very pleasant.

Due to an error, our room Magna Carta, had not been cleaned when we arrived, but Daniel swiftly came and did the necessary. That room is on the ground floor at the front, so can be quite noisy with returning guests and street lights. Parking nearby is a bit hit or miss.
