Windmill Farm Lincoln by Greene King Inns

The staff were warm and welcoming and provided the extras I needed to ask for due to my disability. The bed, wow, so comfortable. The bathroom we had been told wasn't fully accessible but was great for my needs and so clean. The room was very clean, and the all important Teas and coffees in the room were great. The disabled parking was right in front of the hotel and was really accessible. Evening carvery, dear lord, there was so much food and well cooked lovely food. Breakfast was plentiful and set you up for the day.

We had come back from our sons graduation and really would have like an alcohol free drink, but the bar was closed and cashed out at 2230hrs, which is unusual for us as we live in Spain and bars never close so early. I am a porridge eater, strange I know, but that would have been nice as an extra.

Good size room, facilities good for the price . Staff in hotel and restaurant friendly Breakfast good quality, evening meal quick, quality and portions as expected in a corporate house. Drink prices very good. Overall very satisfied for what was paid.

Hotel bedrooms are tired and management must know this. Maintenance jobs could still be done though ie: toilet roll holder barely hanging on bits missing on laminate etc... No orange juice on both mornings at breakfast no sausages on second day...This is Lincoln home of the sausage, poor chef ordering. Cold plates for breakfast..I get it, control has to be maintained over people helping themselves but a warm plate is nice for hot food. Poor layout of toaster and drinks, crossing over to do both. This is an observation not a complaint.

Good value for money, good location and excellent breakfast

The room door would not lock form the inside the deadbolt latch was missing from the door frame, the handle lock also did not work the only way to secure the door was by the chain which didn't make us feel very secure, the room also had confetti scattered across the floor and in the bathroom as we check-in and the room temperature was quite uncomfortable to a point we had the fan on setting 3 all night which only just took the edge off maybe investing in air con for the rooms would help, also during breakfast there were around 10 flys in and around the dinning area.

really enjoyed our stay, excellent location clean comfortable rooms, attended a event mods mayday brilliant location, so handy to be able to just go upstairs to our room when it ended, stayed two nights, dined in the restaurant both evenings, food good value for money, husband had the carvery and is hard to please but said it was lovely, booked room with Buffett breakfast included it was so tasty and didn’t feel like it was mass produced very nice, Rachel a member of staff was exceptional and very helpful actually all the staff were very nice and run a tight ship even though it’s a busy spot, will definitely be back, plenty of parking and not to far from Lincoln, not a walk in but a 5 minute car drive, costa, and kfc not far either,

We got married in January. We had an afternoon tea wedding and a disco/buffet in the evening. The staff arranging the wedding, Alice our planner and her team were absolutely outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail when setting the table with our flowers, etc, was lovely to see and very much appreciated. The tea was delicious with plenty of it. They made a tired function room look fantastic with fairy lights and a light curtain. They really did make our day perfect. We are so grateful and would 100% recommend them.

The honeymoon suite was included in the price. The bed was lovely, big and comfortable. Unfortunately, the decor/maintenance lets the suite down badly.

Great rooms and very clean. Receptionist was so helpful and did her best to make my stay there as comfortable as possible. Food was excellent with great menu choice and breakfast was exceptional. The ladies who serviced the room were really nice and friendly and again nothing was too much trouble even reminding me to get extra coffee from them!!

location was a little bit further from the city than I anticipated but no issues as my fault for not looking at this but, that would not deter me from staying again which I plan to do next time although I will take my car!

overall it was fine. even though only one floor up - there was still a lift food was reasonable, and well priced, drinks ok

bar tenders have not been trained correctly. they ALL put their fingers on the top half inch of the glass breaking health and safety rules. who knows when they last washed their hands. surprised this occurred after covid plus lack of pastries at breakfast and no juices. had to buy my own apple juice for second morning. then got offerred juice, so why not on first day ??? inconsistent service if eat later , then carvery has very limited offerrings

Very good stay at the windmill Farm, everyone very helpful,a great breakfast ( thanks also to Michael,great personality). A very good Hotel 😊.

A good 3 star hotel. Good value for money. Having the restaurant/pub was a bonus as they served good reasonable priced food which is what we like. Room was clean and spacious. Pillows a bit hard and shower curtain a bit annoying while taking a shower but it was a good shower. A screen would be better...but it was 3star!!! Staff were all lovely. Location suited us as we didnt want to be in Lincoln centre. Easy reach of Park and Ride or a bus route if you prefer. Would visit again.

Nothing not to like really...

Welcome by Lewis was excellent, polite and friendly and he remembered me and my plans the following day. The food was good, well cooked and plenty. The housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean. The information on the bedrooms was an honest description.

The satnav did not recognise the location but the hotel was visible from the road so I was able to find it. The hotel are aware and are attempting to get this rectified.
