Best Western New Kent Hotel

I have stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The staff were very welcoming and helpful from the first moment. They were sociable and kind. The room was spacious with an enough space to rest and enjoy your stay. It was quiet and relaxing (the curtains are light-blocking which was so helpful to have a great sleep). They offer room service upon request. Their breakfast was fantastic as it's served by menu (they have many vegetarian options too). The hotel is 7 minutes away from west jesmond Station. It's also 10 minutes away from jesmond dene if want a moment to relax and enjoy nature! The inference is fabulous with flowers and seats to sit and chill.

Very clean, week presented hotel with helpful and accommodating staff. Our room was very spacious with a big bay window which made the room very bright and a lovely view onto the green and church. Staff made suggestions where to visit, organised taxis and were very polite. We would return to this hotel.

There wasn't much we didn't enjoy the only thing I would say is on we stayed for the weekend and the church bells did ring for quite some time in the morning but not sure if this happens every weekend or not.

Hotel was only 10 minutes walk from Jesmond West Metro station. It was very quiet in the evening and overnight. Staff were very helpful. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants around the area.

The hotel restaurant was closed and looked as if it might have been shut for some time. Would have been better to have had this pointed out prior to arrival.

It was in a nice residential area next to plenty of restaurants to eat and drink. The hotels restaurant in not in use at time stayed there. Our breakfasts were good with plenty of choices and our room was immaculate and looked as though recently had been done up.

Our room was top floor . I use a walking stick and it was our fault not mentioning this when booking hotel but no complaints about the hotel.

Off road parking, easy check in, friendly staff. Room was clean and quiet. Hotel only a 5 minute walk from the metro station.

Room wasn’t ready until after the check in time, which scuppered plans slightly for the afternoon. We were offered a later checkout but unfortunately we were unable to use it as we needed to leave early. Couldn’t get any warm/hot water from the bathroom tap but as we were only using it to wash our faces, we didn’t make an issue of it (room 14). Shower was fine though.

My partner and I stayed here for one night, to break a long drive up to Scotland. We had a small double room at the back of the building. There is no lift, but the staff were very helpful in carrying some of our heavy bags. The location is close to the Jesmond amenities, and opposite a pretty church.

Unfortunately we didn't sleep very well, as the bed itself was not very comfortable. The duvet was also quite small for the bed.

The hotel has a variety of rooms - all are very clean and comfortable. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. It is located on a quiet stretch of Osborne Road, but only a few minutes' walk from restaurants and bars. Opposite the hotel is the stop for the electric bus down to the Quayside. You can also reach West Jesmond Metro station in under 10 minutes (direct trains to the airport or city centre).

it was clean, very nice inside. we had room 17, The bathroom was amazing! very good rooms. The bar downstairs was very nice with a tv and sports, good value for money! The staff where amazing, we had around 4 different receptionists over our 3day stay and they where all really nice and helpful when needed.

maybe the bedroom parts of the rooms could be updated, along with decor of the property (walls/ ceilings)

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly .Reception booked a taxi for my husband as he was going into hospital. If we'd needed anything the staff were very obliging.

It was very cold outside when we stayed and during the day when the heating went off the room got very cold. we felt a draught coming through the windows.

The staff are the stars, and the breakfast is rather special. The room was very comfortable and had obviously been well prepared being very clean and equipped with everything I needed. It was a shame that the restaurant was closed but I understand that the revisions will be very special and I look forward to dining there again in the future

Everything was fine - just a shame that I couldn't have dinner because of the changes in the restaurant
