The staff were great Special mentions for Kris & Lisa (in the bar area) and Oi in the Blossoms breakfast area Lisa was especially honest in a situation where an unexpected cash amount had been left by an anonymous visitor - absolutely blew my mind someone should leave money and realised that in the circumstances if Lisa hadn't informed me, I'd have been none the wiser!

Sunday 15:10 check in and only one receptionist on to deal with check-in's (waiting at least 10 minutes while other guests had to be dealt with) The room (307) could have had a slightly bigger bathroom Suggest the hotel get staff out within the Nottm community so they are better able to recommend restaurants to eat in

The staff was friendly and we felt very welcomed as they offer a "welcome", delicious biscuit. We had a little issue with the light system, but the Receptionist promptly explained and helped over the phone.

At some point during the staying, while having a shower, the shampoo holder fell down and we couldn't fix it on our own. We reported this to one of the cleaners, but it wasn't fixed during our stay. Maybe because it happened during the weekend and it wasn't a major issue for calling someone to fix.

The location is really good and not far from the M1 as long as you are prepared to use the excellent (and cheap) tram service or the bus to reach the city centre. The parking facilities are fabulous with plenty of wide spaces available at the hotel and the staff very friendly. The rooms are definitely spacious enough and the bathroom/shower are a good size. Cookies on arrival are a great touch and the staff seemed happy at throughout the hotel. Rooms quiet and well insulated with air conditioning and heating controls.

The basin in the bathroom had the waterflow of a long ago dried up river bed. The water flow was so slow that being able to wash my face in warm water was impossible as the water had evaporated before it reached the basin - filling the provided kettle was a slow process but the shower and toilet were totally the opposite with very good flow and heat. Note to the electrician: if you fit LED bulbs to the bedside lamps then ensure to fit a LED compatible dimmer controller to the switches (easy and cheap fix to the flickering lighting)

Breakfast was extremely good - lots of variety with everything from croissants to omelettes including a machine for making pancakes and these were delicious. The bed (king-size) was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The room was cleaned as soon as we went to breakfast and the house-keeping staff were excellent, as were the staff in the bar/restaurant and dining room. I have to make special mention of 3 members of staff: 2 on reception - Michael-Ann and Delia - they were so helpful and informative and both were great ambassadors for the hotel. No matter what question we asked they either knew it or found it out. The 3rd was a tall, slim guy with a beard who worked in the bar/restaurant and gave us great advice on things to do in Nottingham. All in all, we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Nottingham area. Take the tram at the Cinderhill stop which is 5-10 minute walk and you will be in the centre of Nottingham in around 20 minutes. Trams run every 7-10 minutes. Excellent public transport system all round. If you are there in Spring/Summer look out for the pair of Canada geese who are annual visitors to the moat at the front of the hotel and raise a brood every year. The hotel even provides bedding material for them! Now that's what I call going the extra mile for guests ha ha.

I can't think of anything that needs to be improved. Perhaps the addition of dressing gowns might be good.

A welcoming Hotel me and my family were staying because we had just attended a funeral not the best of reasons really but the staff were helpful the hotel was lovely and clean.

The hotel didn't provide you with bottle's of water, we did ask for an extra cup as there was 3 of us there was only 2 cups we stayed there overnight but it really didn't matter we were all devastated by the loss of our Mam and grandma we just wanted to relax as much as possible as it was a stressful day!!! The lightening in the room could have done with being brighter.

The room and bed was clean and comfortable.

I have been staying at this hotel for a while now and I arrived Saturday to be greeted my a very rude member off staff on the reception desk . She shoved this piece off paper in my face and said sign here .. then proceeded to tell me I had to pay a £50 pound holding deposit, yet I had already paid for my stay ... I explained to her I have never done that before and she was like oh well you will have to now .. I paid the £50 pound holding deposit she then shoved a cookie in my hand and I walked away... looking more into this the holding deposit is £25 per person and not £50 . I have contacted the hotel with little response . I won't be staying there again . I've never felt I was below someone till that day .

We had breakfast included with our room price and we were not disappointed. Even our fussy eater was very happy with what was on offer. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable. Everything was very clean.

If I have to say anything negative about the property, it would be that the location is not the most central. But honestly, it really didn’t bother us as there was plenty of parking so we took a car. Hard to fault this place really.

This hotel is extraordinary, normally in life you get what you pay for but here you get twice what you pay for. Dont think any more detail is required.

I thought some of the ladies working the bar/restaurant on the day shift could really use some training, when ordering food they had no idea what I was asking for and had to show them on the menu and it's not a big menu so feel they should learn it and when putting it in to the register they couldn't navigate it or seem to know where anything was on it and there was an occasion when 1 lady was taking all the orders while it was quite busy and she was also carrying people's food out whilst 3 other ladies were taking glasses out of the dishwasher and drying them with towels. This was directly in view of all the customers waiting to be served. Just thought this was a bit odd.

the bed was nice and firm, much better than the marshmallow mattress that many hotels use. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, taking time for conversation when invited.

I had to change from my business attire to motorcycle clothing after my meeting so chose to use the accessible toilet near reception. first choosing to utilise the facilities, the light switches off within ten seconds of sitting down. The only way to keep the lights on was to be waving my arms while seated.

This hotel was booked for my husband, son, & son in law by myself as they were going to a music festival they arrived too early to actually book in but went to reception to inform the reception that they would not be able to check in until after the festival but this was no problem whatsoever my husband told me that the receptionist was very understanding and explained the reception was manned 24hrs and that what ever time they returned to hotel their room would be available. When they eventually got back to the hotel they said everything was dealt with with no problem at all they said the service was great. They had breakfast the morning after in which they said was fine but for some reason were a little disappointed as they have stayed in Hilton hotels before and said the breakfast was better elsewhere but apart from this they had an enjoyable stay.
