The Staff, were really friendly and helpful and the location was perfect,

Rooms a little dated. The room was very hot, and although there was a fan in the room to help cool you down, the noise from the fan was as annoying as the heat so, unfortunately, I didn't have the best sleep, I think this Hotel would be absolutely 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ with a little money spent on the rooms decor and some new quiet fans are air con system, but the value for money was excellent as it was a very cheap alternative to some of the other hotels. Would I stay again ? Yes but would request a quieter fan, and definitely in cooler weather.

Room was nice and big,beds were comfty,no iron in our room yet we had an ironing board🤷🏽‍♀️,so had to borrow friends as room had one.

Getting woken up at 9am on a sunday to what i think was a gospel group singing. No iron in our room Shower not powerful enough,no plugs next to bed to charge phone. Could do we new lick of paint,new curtains,as ours had cig burn in the bottom.

Very good value for money, staff very pleasant and helpful. Easy check in, near to town and very warm in our room.

Shower was blocked with hair and was overflowing, pillows were flat and uncomfortable and the beside tables were very dusty, on the bottom shelves.

Perfectly located and a simple 10 minute walk, if that, into main town centre. Free off street parking at the back of the hotel so you don't need to worry about your car. The bed is always comfortable, the shower is always amazing and the staff are always friendly and approachable and helpful. We couldn't get our window open on our last stay and needed a fan, within 5 minutes the window was open and there was a fan in our room! The breakfast is self-serve and the dining area is lovely and spacious. It's now our go-to hotel for when we have a night out, it's just a lovely hotel to stay at.

Pillows were thin and not very comfortable.

OUR 3rd stay in this hotel receptionsit,all GREAT friendly AND definitley professional as Routine ! She even remebered MY surname on booking !!!Once we needed to change our room ,No a problem. just requested a walk in.Message wasnt received from ,booking to com. BUT wasnt a problem, Staff changed just like that !!!

Maybe small, thing Fellow residents,be quiet on leaving their rooms at 6am onwards would be nice lol. ! BUT hard to control via staff. !! The cleaners start early But its their Jobs !! lol. small things BUT nothing to comment on. !!

Room needs updating

My friend and I stayed here at the weekend. We was so pleased with our choice. The room was ample for what we needed. The staff on reception was so helpful and gave us extra pillows and a hairdryer when asked. The breakfast was excellent. Hot food. Hot coffee. Help yourself and there was plenty of it. Grear location. Approx 20 mins walk into the town and station. Perfect little Barge Bar on route for a tipple or too. Plus great thai food on offer. Rooms were warm and clean and showers were hot. Would 100% recommend.

Minor - we noticed no 'toilet brush' or 'glasses' in bathroom. Usually standard items.

Lovely sized room, I always appreciate space. And nice, friendly staff. The hotel was very central so I could walk into the town. It had free parking too which I always love. My room was on the ground floor, at the front of the hotel. On the first night I was concerned that I would struggle to sleep but I did not, the road was quiet.

Only think I can think of is if the lighting was a bit better. I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels for my work and I always find that hotel rooms tend to have what I call 'mood' lighting, Great for relaxing and having a glass of wine, but harder to read paperwork or see things clearly!
