I have stayed at this property before, and was happy to return. Friendly and helpful proprietor. Sensibly priced. A good rural position. Ground floor room, with a bathroom with a bathtub (private bathroom, but not en-suite as you are informed on 'Booking.com' website). Clean throughout. Breakfast is served in your room, where you have a table, with a couple of chairs, and a fridge. Selection of items for breakfast. The full English breakfast is of a good quality.

Naturally an en-suite bedroom is more convenient than an external private bathroom, but a bathrobe is provided. I think it is a pity that the room is furnished with a double bed and a single bed. If it was just a double bed, or two singles, the room would be more spacious and allow a couple of comfortable chairs also, and possibly a hand basin for the washing of cups etc. A tea towel for the drying up of cups, after washing them in the bathroom, would be helpful. A fish option on the breakfast menu would be good.

Comfortable and clean room. Friendly proprietor and staff. Fridge in room. Ground floor room. Good breakfast, but served in your room. On Fridays freshly made pizzas are available, and the pizza I had was good. Private external bathroom (as advertised) was good with a bathtub and shower over. Clean and well equipped. Good value.

A private external bathroom is not as convenient as an en-suite. No water or basin in the room. A tea towel would have been helpful. A comfortable chair would also be good, as no sitting room is available.

Lovely, welcoming host. Super comfy bed and quality bedding. Delicious, well presented and perfectly sized, cooked breakfast. For a solo business traveller, the room size was perfect and having a dining table and chairs in the room to work at was great - it was a family room. I particularly appreciate that my hosts were receptive to my suggestion to offer a pot of tea or coffee to accompany breakfast, rather than leaving a guest to make a cup themselves using the provisions on the landing. Besides breakfast, making a hot drink could be tedious as achieving a good cuppa for one more than once, let alone for a family staying, is a better and more enjoyable experience if plenty of what's needed is at hand. Of course, hosts are very willing and keen to please and ensure guests are delighted, bringing more on request but not having to ask makes for a frictionless stay. I will stay again and highly recommend Fourwinds to others.

We had a lovely room, very good sized for us and our 16 year old. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed - the mini fridge was so handy as it was a very hot couple of days. Nice crisp white bed linen. Deborah (one of the hosts) was just lovely, nothing too much trouble and made us feel really comfortable. We liked that you could text them to ask for anything you needed, like extra milk etc, or order breakfast. Also that they provided extra crockery and cutlery along with use of a microwave for if you wish to eat in your room etc. Really good touch. The Breakfast was very nice and brought to our room which was lovely and so much more relaxed. We had full English and could request one without certain items for the fussy daughter! I opted for poached eggs on Sourdough toast the second day and that was also delicious and perfectly cooked. We had a separate but private bathroom just across the hall which was so lovely and a great size but, most importantly, lovely and clean!! Lovely fluffy white towels were provided along with gorgeous smelling complimentary toiletries - hand-wash, shampoo and body wash. Cannot praise it highly enough and would not hesitate to book again in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I booked the room instead of the Shepherds Hutt by mistake and even though the room looked spotless and comfy, the lady let me swap to the hut no problem. The hut was the most adorable place where all the little things were thought out, we couldn’t believe how spacious and cozy it was. The hut wasn’t facing anyone and felt private and we tried to stay an extra night however they were fully booked. Looking to stay again!

Absolutely loved the log cabin, as soon as we opened the door we just said "wow"! Very friendly and welcoming hosts and staff, honestly just made to feel like we belonged there! Jaffa the cat is very friendly too, you would have thought we had brought him with us haha So much available to buy/hire on site too, we got some logs for a fire, we had taken our own bbq bits and toys/games for the children but least we know for next time we can travel lighter. We enjoyed walking along the Old River Nene and even had a mini picnic along the way. There's absolutely nothing at all that we could find fault with! So glad I found this little gem, we will definitely be returning!

Quite simple..... packing up and leaving! Even our young children keep saying they want to go back to the cabin!

We booked last minute less than 24hrs before we arrived as we had been let down with accommodation. I'm glad we did, the apartment was just what we needed. Very clean and fresh and just like home from home. The grounds are very well kept and easy access along the canal for a nice walk into March. We order breakfast on the last day to save us some hassle and it was lovely home cooked and tasty. Even our picky children polished everything off. We were that impressed that we booked again for April 23 to come and visit family again.

Spotlessly clean, friendly owners, free parking, use of microwave, crockery, cutlery, tea & coffee facilities, cold water & fresh milk in fridge. Everything was perfect. Hannah was knowledgeable about the town facilities and in the room was information about walks, places to visit etc

great reception from the lovely couple who own the campsite, we stayed in the log cabin which was beautiful, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, a jug of milk in the fridge. bed was probably one of the most comfy we've slept in, everything you need is there, we lit the firepit on our first night which was lovely to sit around, lots of space between each persons accommodation, we took a walk along the river bank and into march which was beautiful especially walking past the lovely cottages and the boats along the river bank, overall a great stay and would definitely love to return.

Such a lovely, quaint little cabin. Had all the basics you need. Great idea to text through your order for the shop, and/or your food order. Staff were all really friendly & helpful. Jaffa the cat is THE friendliest & cheekiest cat around (we could’ve happily bought him home!!) We had a lovely walk along the river, just to see what was around. Both the bed and sofa bed were comfy. The shower was a good one too.
