The staff are all very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and very comfortable and the cooked breakfast had a verity of choices. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and we were not disappointed the food was excellent and the portions ample. The onsite bar is lively during the evening with a variety of events to include a large TV in the garden and bar. During the day it is much quieter to relax and unwind with a choice of outside seating the bar or lounge.

As this venue has a lively night life expect some noise until late from below your room and from party people leaving or waiting for transport home but be assured once all have gone home peace is restored for a good nights sleep.

The staff were excellent, very welcoming and helpful! from the minute we arrived we felt welcome and everything was explained to us as we were being checked in, it was a lovely touch being shown to our room also instead having to find our own way. Our room was a lovely family room, very spacious, and had everything we need for our stay. We had a evening meal that night which was lovely, again nothing was any trouble for the staff. The breakfasts both mornings were faultless, the quality of the produce was excellent....much nicer than many breakfasts we have had over the years when staying away elsewhere! The bar area is lovely with several areas to sit and and relax in, with a great selection of drinks for everyone.

Location was perfect and the room was very spacious. There was a bit of a damp smell which was evident from a patch on the ceiling. It made my coat smell a little damp in the wardrobe. The staff were helpful and check in was simple.

I feel the breakfast could be better. There was a menu to choose from which was great and we both enjoyed what was cooked but I would have liked fruit juice to be available or even a glass of water. There was no fruit or yogurts and the only cereals offered were wheatabix, cornflakes or rice crispies, muesli would have been great. We asked for extra toast and the waiter brought one slice of the thinnest white toast I've ever seen. I think with some simple tweaks the breakfast could be vastly improved.

i stayed in room 8 which is the large room at the top of the building with a separate bathroom. on the face of it the room looks great but it is actually getting tired and needs a change of furniture. the bath was very nice and enjoyed a relaxing bath after finishing work. my morning shower was also very nice and plenty of good towels were supplied. the breakfast was very good and good quality. the place is a beautiful location with a lovely river running at the back of the property.

the furniture in the room is starting to flake and chip. the chair in the bathroom is broken and it is ready to break if someone leans back whilst sitting on it as it's coming away at the joints. the seal around the shower cubicle has also broken and water leaks from here onto the bathroom floor so i had to put a towel down when using the shower. i fogot to mention this to the staff as i left early for work. the tv is quite small for the size of room and i would recommend upgrading this to a slightly larger tv.

The included breakfast is delicious! The staff are wonderful and helpful. it is a operating pub with beer garden, it has a restaurant and quiet room and a spot to sit by the lake. residents can use a private balcony, I enjoyed eating out there on occasion. the room was well decorated and clean and had everything I needed.

as it is an operating pub there is music going every night until about 10.30pm or 11.30 on the w/e, I believe that is why some people complain about it being noisy but I quite enjoyed it and I took earplugs if I wanted to block it out.

Large comfortable room which was clean, very tidy with lots of storage & a large very comfy bed. Lots of electrical sockets. Good sized en suite bathroom with good shower. Caution - VERY hot water!!! Welcoming young, friendly staff providing a high standard of customer service. Fabulous food both at breakfast & evening dinner. Inside & outside bars (next to a small river). Excellent location in the centre of Market Deeping so ideally situated for where we needed to be.

Small car park so not always able to park on site - (I am disabled & can't walk very far). Supplies of milk, teabags, sugar etc were not very generous & need to be increased. No fridge!!! Given the 15+ drawers in the room, perhaps one set of 3 drawers under the dressing table could be converted to accommodate a fridge/chiller unit.

We really enjoyed our stay, it is in the middle of the town but backs on to the river. A very popular establishment which can make it noisy but we were staying in room one and heard nothing (bit of road noise). Breakfast was very tasty with a good choice and we also ate in the restaurant and again the food was excellent and the service was exceptional.

Nothing really. Our room had a very low window cill so shutters or something over the lower half for a bit of privacy 🙂

The room was clean, light, and airy with a large opening window to the market square. The room included a super king bed which was extremely comfortable. There were a number of lights including bedside reading lamps and a fan was provided as the weather was very warm. We were given enough teabags, coffee sachets etc. to keep us refreshed. The curtains blocked most of the light so a good nights sleep was possible. The room was large and comfortable and Staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The Wi-Fi was patchy depending on where you were in the building. There was a small amount of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, the extractor fan was very dusty, and the shaver socket did not work so I was unable to charge my toothbrush. As the Deeping Raft Race was taking place we were unable to park in the car park. These were all minor issues, staff were responsive and helpful when informed, and the issues did not detract from a pleasant stay.

The table staff at breakfast time were very helpful, obliging and pleasant. The cooked offerings were fine - full English to Eggs-Florentine or Eggs-Royale were more likeable.

The breakfast experience was somewhat underwhelming really. No fruit; dried or fresh & no yogurt was offered. The cereals were 'packets we're all familiar with', but it would have been nice to supplement that with some fruit of some sort - things I expect at breakfast.

We have no complaints concerning this hotel. Our family room was large well furnished and any issues were dealt with swifty. Breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere. Evening life was fine with a decent bar and entainment. Round at the back there was limited parking but the largest outdoor TV we have ever seen. We are planning to return. Staff were A1 Assisting with suitcases without being asked.
