Loved the position, staff, decor and room. Very clean and comfortable. Good food and lovely to sit with a drink on the harbour side. Swimming robes and canvas bag a lovely touch. Excellent croissants. Fan provided which was needed. Good shower, comfortable bed and decent pillows. Lovely atmosphere.

Breakfast was a little chaotic at times. First day we had to ask for coffee/tea and didn't realise that the cooked breakfast was included in our rate as all the items were individually priced. Third day no continental breakfast left and apparently not easily topped up so forced into cooked breakfast and we were down before 9.30. The other 2 days were fine. No marmalade and I was not the only person looking for some. Toast was not offered but could be provided when requested.

Overall an amazing stay. Amazing rooms, loved the little touches in the room, including the guide book and info. Having available dry robes was perfect as it rained whilst we were there. Lovely comfortable bed, great shower… couldn’t have asked for more.

The car park surface is atrocious… when I popped in the bar to ask if the car park to the side was the hotel car park, I was replied with ‘yes the one that can take the bottom off your car’….. and yes it very nearly did. I’d suggest don’t even advertise a car park, as it is not fit for purpose.

A lovely inn with very friendly staff located right on the harbour side. the decor was very well maintained, comfortable bed, great breakfast and dinner choices. Fresh milk, Nespresso and free beer in the room was great, provision of dry robes was a good and unexpected touch.

I'm only answering because you asked. Everything was really good but a little more room in the bedroom would be nice. I recognise the constraints of an old property and happily accept character over space 😊

We booked a harbour view room and I’m so glad we did. It was beautifully decorated and the window alcove with chairs was the perfect spot for watching all the harbour activities. The room had a mini fridge and a great selection of teas and coffee. Fresh milk is always a bonus! The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was fabulous. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely gorgeous. The quality of food was brilliant and there was lots to choose from.

Great place, rooms gorgeous and wonderful location. Sun terrace and excellent wine selection! Really lovely place and felt welcomed.

Staff very young and In/ experienced so patience is needed. Service and bar is very un organised. Left for ages to be served. They try their best and the place is worth it as the rooms and place is high spec. Great for a coastal treat. Will be fab with more training of team and service little gem.

We slept in one of the rooms on the front of the Harbour Inn. The views were amazing and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

It's an old building so I appreciate not too much can be done about this however, the very loud slamming of doors from other guests first thing in the morning tended to rattle through the walls. The stairs also creak quite badly and are literally on the other side of the wall from the bed. We both sleep well so it was of no major concern but if there are any light sleepers out there then they may want to take this into consideration. That, plus the fact that The Harbour Inn is a pub and therefore revellers can be heard outside until late. Again, this doesn't bother us as we were one of them!! (but it may be worth other people knowing this if they are the sort likely to complain)

We stayed there for 3 nights over the Easter weekend. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming - it was very busy, however they always found the time to stop and talk to us. The rooms look great. Nicely furnished and clean, comfy bed with crisp white sheets, everything is provided including set of very clean and huge towels, kettle, teas/coffee, hairdryer.. Bathroom very clean, good water pressure and a wall radiator that keeps your towels dry. The food is amazing, breakfast very fresh, tasty, good portions and well presented - a good choice to suit everybody. We tried dinner there, also tasted so good. Fish of the day was gorgeous! I loved the stone-like tableware! We also had 2 bikes with us that have been safely stored for the time of our stay. Thank you very much for everything! Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect! I wish I stayed there for longer! 😊

All staff were excellent and everyone worked hard to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The room was very clean and there was a great range of tea and coffee to satisfy any taste. The bar and restaurant were lively and friendly. The food was excellent.

Due to location, nothing can be done about this, there was occasional noise late at night from people outside.

The property is in a fabulous location as you would expect on the harbour. It was very comfortable and the staff were great especially Amy who checked us in and booked us in for breakfast (which was delicious) with lots of choice and was also there for dinner. We ate both nights, food was lovely with a good choice. Our first time in Porthleven, we wanted a base to explore the south and we liked the look of the place, took a chance and were not disappointed.

Nothing bad to report.

Harbour Inn was one of our favorite hotels we stayed at along our week-long trek of the South West Coast Path. We arrived just after 4pm and were quickly checked in and shown to our spacious hotel room on the second floor. We were also offered the option to book dinner which I'd highly recommend doing as we had a fantastic meal later in the night. Breakfast was amazing the next morning too. Our room was comfortable and quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were so friendly.
