beautiful location within walking distance to Rostrevor town which had lovely bars and restaurants. the roll top bath was a little luxury and I wish we stayed longer to enjoy some of the culinary experiences. they were also dog friendly which is a big win.

The temporary host - Frances was extremely welcoming and made us feel at ease and comfortable immediately and couldn't do enough for us. Really nice lady. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Very dog friendly place. Attic room had great views across the Lough. Would stay there again.

Although the location is good for access to the town and the Lough, there can be quite a lot of traffic noise. The property is undergoing some refurbishment that it will benefit from

A spacious and comfortable room with lovely sea view. We had a good breakfast in the outside bubble tent. The lady who welcomed us was warm, friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay right at the coast with wonderful views.

The Oystercatcher is a Beautiful B&B right along the coast, The Room was outstanding, never had a comfier night stay anywhere else. The Room and ensuite facilities were fantastic. The room was well stocked with tea, coffee and fresh water & milk.

Beautiful location at Rosstrevor and the house is right at the coast with wonderful views. The owners are so lovely and welcoming with a lovely breakfast in the morning and very nice rooms. My car had an issue in the morning and they were so nice to us as we waited for assistance to get going. I couldn’t thank them enough.

Stunning location, great host and all you could need for an enjoyable overnight stay. Linen and room were clean and bright. Beautiful to sit on terrace enjoying the calm and tranquility of the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious and host offered plenty of choice. Would definitely return if around the area again!

Beds were a little soft for our liking.

Stefano is a fantastic host, amazing chef!!, and a very interesting man to have a conversation with! Myself, my wife, our little one and one of our Frenchies had a fantastic night's sleep after we finished exploring the area. The location is second to none, a 5min stroll from the town center and directly across from the picturesque Carlingford Lough Bay/beach area. The public Narija Park is a well worth a visit for both young and old too. A dog lovers paradise surrounds it also. We'll definitely be back!! 5🌟

The location is great and just a short walk to rostrevor village and Kilbroney park. Beautiful views over Carlingford lough from the terrace and that touch of luxury in the room. Pasqualina and Stefano are lovely welcoming hosts and at breakfast they offer a variety of choices including a full breakfast.

We arrived late and Stefano stayed up late to welcome us. The rooms were beautifully laid out with lovely personal touches and so comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. The location was amazing, right across the road from the ocean. We were told in the morning (we werent able to stay for breakfast), that they provide private dining events which we will definitely take advantage of when we are next in the area. Thank you so much for a lovely, albeit short, stay.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect location just a short walk from Rostrevor’s magical nature walks and exciting pubs and restaurants. Perfect staff - I have travelled most of the world and Pasqualina from the Oystercatcher was the friendliest most welcoming host. the room was comfortable too.
