We arrived at the house and from then till we left it was just like a home from home. The couple are a pleasure and nothing was too much bother for them. The house is beautiful. Our room was nice and cosy and with a selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits available. Breakfast was one of the nicest ive had and again in a beautiful dining room. Continental, with a very varied selection of food so plenty of choice. I would recomend this place to anyone, and given the very reasonable price I would say its very good value for money. Go try because you wont be dissapointed.

There was nothing I didnt like

The Karibu Guest House is lovely and clean. We had a seven night stay and appreciated Sam and Anita’s hospitality. The room has very good lighting, a comfy bed, a very comfortable easy chair, a beautiful shower and many thoughtful little touches. The coffee/tea tray is well equipped and wonderful to have. There is very convenient parking. We appreciated the use of the washer and dryer. Sam and Anita provide a huge breakfast and are first-rate hosts.

The Karibu Guest House does not provide a ‘communal kitchen’, fridge or microwave as per the listing!

I really really loved my stay at Karibu House with Sam and Anita. Both of them were very welcoming, so friendly, thoughtful, kind and accommodating. They even went out and bought me my special bread for my breakfast and couldn't have done more for me. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, yogurt, ham & cheese, lovely selection of pastries/bread, cereal, juice and more. Their home is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. It's only about 40mins from Belfast International Airport and you can park for free on their large drive (I had a hire car). I look forward to my next stay with them very soon.

NOTHING. I wish I could have stayed longer.

It was a wonderful stay and the whole experience was exceptional. Sam and Anita were welcoming and very accommodating (we have asked for an 8am breakfast on a Sunday morning...). The location was perfect for us and we found the place without any difficulty. Safe free car parking in front of the house. The room was spacious, bright and warm. The bathroom was comfortable and with a shower that offered hot water at a great water pressure - a bliss after all the hiking. There was a choice of toiletries in the bathroom, and a tea/coffee station in the room. A large TV was discretely located behind the wardrobe doors. The bed was comfortable and the night passed quietly and peacefully. Everything was spotless clean. The breakfast was generous and with a variety of foods. I loved the fresh fruit salad. Conversations were flowing effordlessly and we found quite a lot in common.

Everything was perfect

The house was spotless, in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Absolutely everything I could have wanted for a comfortable stay was provided. The "continental breakfast" was far more extensive than I needed. An easy pleasant stroll along the river takes you into Banbridge Town Centre. Being just north of City Centre, Karibu makes a great base camp for driving out to explore the spectacular countryside and villages to the north and west. My hosts couldn't have been more welcoming, and were also both very interesting people.

The Karibu Guest House offers superb value for money in terms of facilities and location. At these price points you will not be disappointed. But hold on there! It gets better. The Hosts. Their motto is “arrive as a guest leave as a friend”. I booked for two days and would gladly have altered earlier arrangements and stayed the extra five. It would have been worth the additional miles. For a real taste of old school Irish Hospitality, with a unique South African twist, look no further. They start at the extra mile and run marathons. My first choice every time. Book if available. Highly recommended.

When we arrived sam and Anita made us feel so welcome. Showed us around the guest house and made us both feel at home. The overall experience was fantastic the room was so clean, breakfast was a good variety and location was brilliant for banbridge

Don’t have any dislikes about the property.

Breakfast was a very generous continental buffet, fresh and varied. Sam and Anita are wonderful, attentive hosts ready to go the extra mile for their guests. We felt very well looked after. Sam got up at 4am on our departure day to see us off with coffee and croissants.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Felt like a home from home, extremely friendly owners who couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel really welcome from the minute we got there to the minute we left. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need down to supplying local taxi numbers which we really appreciated.

Nothing to dislike about the property.

Hosts were so nice and friendly. Room had everything you needed. Plenty of spotlessly clean white towels left out for use. All bathroom essentials were thought of, with the extra touch of 2 bars of Dove soap!! Bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was continental, but Anita and Sam go the extra mile, by providing everything you could possibly want!!
