I loved this hotel. I stayed for 4 nights, and wished it could have been longer. The food at breakfast and at dinner was excellent. All the staff were very helpful. My room was lovely, It overlooked the main entrance, but was extremely quiet. My room was off a beautiful very wide corridor, where there was a table with table lamp kept on all evening. On the table was a very interesting book about the history of all the Linen houses of the local area, of which this hotel is one. I also liked the grounds, which were lawns with many specimen trees. Plenty of outside tables to sit at. I happened to have won a big race on one of the days, and I was brought a little bottle of Prosecco to celebrate with, in addition to the dinner and drink I'd ordered. All in all, a beautiful place to stay.

Location : as was going to Game of Thrones Studio Tour (which was unbelievable). Breakfast was excellent and the lovely waitress was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely big bed and very comfortable, bathroom was clean & liked that it had all the necessary soap, shampoo etc. The food served in the restaurant and bar was outstanding.

The bar. Found it really dingy and the dining tables & chairs looked like they belonged in a cafe not a 4 starhotel. We ate down there once & found the large TV screens to be really annoying. The Receptionist who checked us in and out was not particularly welcoming, just told what room and breakfast times and on departure, just took the money, never even asked did we enjoy the stay.

The hotel evening meals were very good, I would say beyond my expectations. Pricing overall was very fair, as usual drinks are expensive, but the meals were enjoyable (good choice and large portions) so I am happy to say the visit was very good. Next time I am in Northern Ireland (south of Belfast) it would be nice to visit them again.

The shower head is not very good, you are likely to get wet before you step in, and then you have to adjust the settings to optimise the temperature. Also, the steam extraction is poor so I would only ask that the Hotel think about how to get the steam out of the room if they can.

The staff were absolutely fantastic and the location for me was perfect. The food I had was available in the bar which was very good and served with a smile. The room was very clean and modern which is always a bonus, the only thing that bothered me was the room phone that suddenly lit up the room at 4am and then almost every twenty minutes, a pillow cured the issue.

Check in time. I stay in more than my fair share of hotels in a year and this is a first for me with a check in time of 4pm as far as I'm concerned this is just to late in the day. Albeit I travelled for work but, had I had an early evening engagement this does not leave a great deal of time to get ready and head out, sorry but 4pm is to late.

Location close to supermarket, and a short drive to Game of Thrones Tour. Lovely Queen Anne style furniture in bedrooms; lots of hanging space in the wardrobe; bed and chairs were comfy. Removeble coathangers (not the ones that can only hang in the wardrobe on those silly silver hooks) so when I did some washing, I could hang the washing near the open window to dry overnight. A kettle in the room with t/c/s & milk. That may sound petty, but some hotels I have recently been staying at, had NO KETTLE etc.

There was a dead wasp on the window sill; the shower head was so high up the wall I couldn't reach it to turn the rose away from me when I first turned on the water. The shower bay was small so I had to get out of the shower, reach in and turn on the tap at the same time jumping backwards so I didn't get a shock of cold water spray me while I waited for the HOT water to come through. There was no complimentary shower cap (most hotels have them), so my hair ended up getting wet even though I didnt want it too. There was no room in the bathroom to put my toiletry bag, so it had to go on the chair in the bedroom. Pillows were WAY TOO SOFT. I ended up folding one in half to make it firmer...

I used this hotel as I was working throughout Northern Ireland and worked for me geographically. The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, and the hotel is a magnificent old house, the rooms were large, comfy, clean and everything worked always plenty of hot water, the bar and restaurant area were excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful plus the menu had a good choice both for a evening meal or breakfast, i will definitely stay here again in September when back in Northern Ireland.

Decor, bar, food, very pleasant staff. Water, tea, coffee, biscuits in room. Table service at breakfast. Old world feel. Lovely room at front of hotel.

Woken up on first night by people ringing the bell and making noise to get in. Blinds on the windows, no curtains (yet?) - needed to exclude light and for cosiness with single glazing in colder weather.

Very comfy bed. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient location.

Would struggle to describe our room as "deluxe". Unable to see out of the window as it was blanked out, possibly due to it overlooking the kitchen roof. Constant noise of extractor fans on roof of kitchen right outside the window was very intrusive at night. Bathroom was a bit small for a "deluxe" room.

Meals were really good and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The location was Ideal and the grounds were very tidy. The hotel was very peaceful and relaxing.

One day during our stay our room must have been missed and we had to go and get towels at reception. Another day we had no toilet paper but these days were public holidays so it was understandable and no big deal.
