My Daughter is reading The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe at school so to stay in the Lion room in the B and B with information on CS Lewis’s links to Rostrevor and the nearby CS Lewis trail in Kilbroney Park made it for her. A lovely B and B. The restaurant food was great, as was the breakfast next morning. The staff were all friendly and helpful and they couldn’t do enough for us. We also had the bonus of going on a Wednesday night which had live music from Matthew McGrath and others and we had a sing along and a great night. We will visit again and have a craic on a music night.

No issues.

All staff were superb - reception, bar, restaurant - they really couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, Restaurant and bar: Great food, drinks and service. We didn't even bother going anywhere else for dinner / drinks during our stay (and wouldn't next time either!). So nice to have everything there all in one. Breakfast: Delicious and possibly the biggest breakfast I have ever seen in my life :-) I did a good job on it the first day but had to "downsize" the second morning. Location: Centre of town, couldn't be better. On street parking freely available, didn't have any trouble parking. Shops, everything within walking distance. Beautiful forest park riverside and trail walks literally metres from the Inn. We had planned to drive further afield to do other "more famous" Mourne mountain climbs but just ended up doing the local hill walks which were lovely - you can basically walk as far as you want.

Nothing really to complain about! Only suggestion would be to maybe include electric fans in the front facing bedrooms for summer months. The street can be noisy at night - as expected of course - Rostrevor is a great, lively, little town. We had to close the windows late at night so it was quite hot. Possibly being pedantic but just a suggestion!

Basic but clean and modern rooms. The breakfast was delicious The restaurant and staff are superb. Great value for money.

Really noisy when other guests come in and use the internal fire doors, they slam and shake the rooms! The bedroom doors could be a better quality to help dampen the noise on the corridors.

Fabulous location, very quiet on our mid week stay, beakfast was excellent as was the evening meal the night before. Basic room but meets all your needs. Friendly welcoming staff, restaurant and adjoining Crawfords bar are lovely. Will book again in future and have stayed many times before.

The beds are very firm which can be uncomfortable if used to a softer mattress. The shower sealant/grouting could use a little attention.

Needed to check in early due to wedding and the staff were as accommodating as possible. Rooms were clean comfortable and breakfast was beautiful.

Rooms were too warm but giving the weather it was understandable. As on Main Street a little bit noisy in mornings due to lorry’s delivering to local shops.

Stayed previously to this stay and loved it then as well. Never had an issue previously and no issue now. Always warming and welcoming from the first moment we stepped in the door

Only thing we "didn't" like was there was only 1 teabag in the room. But after speaking to staff more teabags and milk were brought up to the room immediately

nothing really. when we arrived the street was busy so parking near was difficult, but not a problem
