The hotel has been fully renovated and our bedroom was in an annexe. Good tea and coffee making equipment. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The evening meal was delicious and both breakfasts were copious and well cooked.

The bed was quite narrow and pushed up against the wall - difficult to get out of bed from that side without climbing over your bedmate. No bedside lamps. The bathroom, particularly the shower, was cramped.

Overall it was excellent. The variety, presentation and quality of the food was definitely the best we have had in a long time. we consider it to be reasonably priced, as were the wines. Having an option from a Menu of the Day, an A La Carte Menu of 2 or 3 courses and a Taster Menu is a Plus Point. Breakfasts with home-made bread and croissants as well as a Full English variation on anything you required were plentiful. The staff were extremely efficient, professional and above all, friendly, attending to and accommodating our every need promptly. The property, although on a corner of a road and beside a lovely Church was picturesque and not noisy. Our room was in an Annexe was away from the road. other rooms are situated in cottages.

The decor in the room was very nice and kept very clean. The room wasn’t large and we would have benefitted from a little more storage space over our three day stay but fine for one night. The bathroom was small but adequate.

The Ingham Swan is a 'restaurant with rooms' in the French manner. While nominally still a pub - there's a bar, and music playing - the main focus is the really excellent restaurant, where we ate delicious food cooked in an inventive manner from produce grown in the local area. Our room, in a converted stables, was very nicely finished with vintage mid-century modern pieces and had a very cosy feeling with a good though small bathroom. A bonus was the view of the impressive parish church, formerly a priory, right next door. Great breakfast too. The location on a bend in the road looked as if it might have been noisy, but we didn't hear a thing in the restaurant or the bedroom.

Some hanging rails for towels would come in handy.

Fantastic little Gem set in a pretty setting. Exceptional restaurant, definitely fine dining. Pack some nice clothes for the restaurant as it is not casual. I was travelling alone and there were mostly couples in the restaurant, which is fine if you are confident in that environment. Maybe in the summer it is more relaxed because you can sit outside on the lovely patio area. The staff were a young team of well trained, professional people and a pleasure to be with . Worth travelling to just for the restaurant ! The room was lovely, clean and well prepared , loved the coffee machine and little extras . Absolutely superb and I cant wait to return with my friends and family . Ideal for that special occasion and the prices for the set menu were so affordable considering the setting, the place and the staff . Client service, room comfort and atmosphere all as it should be and more, with the restaurant being up there with the best ! Thank you

Maybe just a note for the management . It would be nice to have just a very small light bite menu for the daytime/early evening and I only say that as I was unwell for two days and had to drive to the supermarket, as there was no alternative to the lovely fine dining. Thats not a criticism but hopefully constructive, as I couldnt fault anything .

Booked room with breakfast and half-board. Check in young lady, Stacy, was very delightful, helpful and efficient. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with tea and coffee maker and a fan which is essential on a hot July day. The tasting menu dinner we had was exceptionally good and beautifully presently, Kudos to everyone in the kitchen ! We were very pleased that we booked half board and would certainly be going back to Ingham Swan again, soon!

Cocktails we had pre-dinner had too much ice hence a bit diluted!

What a great Gastro Pub with accomodation. Very comfy cottage bedroom with plenty of space and great bathroom. The food was exceptional in the restaurant as were all the staff. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. Will return and try the Taster Menu next time.

Lack of seating in the bar area if its busy. Our cottage bedroom was around the side of the building and you had to walk along the main road to it. Quite dangerous in the dark. You just have to be aware. Woud not prevent us from staying again.

Peaceful location. Lovely rustic ambience. Staff very efficient, friendly and polite. Very nice dining room and exterior courtyard. Standard of cleanliness very good. Food was of a high standard with great wine list.

Room 4 was nice but very standard in our opinion- not Deluxe as described. Tiny shower room. Bed much too soft and bouncy so mattress needs improving. Slatted would be better than Roman Blinds (one was broken) for more privacy but still allowing light to come in. A second easy chair would be a good addition as there were two of us. Disappointed only one vegetarian option in a list of about 10 mains (and no chicken or game)

Loved the decor, and thatched roof. Spacious bathroom and large shower, underfloor heating. Room was clean and had a great view over the fields. The staff were friendly, and the meal at the pub was superb.

The bed was a little soft for my comfort (you can’t please everyone) and some small areas of making good hadn’t been painted yet in the room. I’d add a blackout blind or curtain to the shutters as it’s bright in the morning. These minor observations aside I would definitely stay again!

Really unusual place to stay with superb restaurant, excellent staff and quiet comfortable rooms. Evening meal and breakfast were wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and we could park and enjoy the beautiful countryside around. Lovely to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, for an early morning cuppa.

The bathroom facilities were a little cramped and there was no soap dish or rack for toiletries in the shower itself.
