The Plough Inn

Great sized room with en-suite, both nicely decorated. Good selection of teas and coffee available in the room. The restaurant ambience was inviting, mix of contemporary and rustic. The menu choices were very varied so options for all tastes. All meals we had were good sized portions and were delicious. I note that some clients had stated the food was pricey however quality comes at an extra cost so we thought it was worth it and we would highly recommend the restaurant. Shaun and the team were attentive and all were very helpful.

On arrival the facade of the building disappointed me however this does not paint a true impression of the experience we had during our stay. We loved it.

Very central for Norwich and the coast. It was great to be able to access the rooms by a private entrance. We were booked in for five nights and were upgraded to a larger room with sofa and large T.V. which was fantastic for relaxing and watching Christmas T.V. Breakfast was fantastic and the evening food also very good. We were very well looked after by Sophie and Bradley throughout and all the staff were attentive, friendly and very accommodating. All in all we could not have picked a better establishment to spend our first Christmas away. I would highly recommend The Plough Inn as Marsham.

There was nothing we did like about The Plough Inn.

Really liked the property. The renovation work is looking really good. We had a lovely well decorated large room with a King size bed . The bathroom was a good size, the shower was great and the water pressure fantastic. All the plumbing worked as you would expect it too. How lovely to have a KS bed..but this mattress was not for me far to soft and bouncy. However others may love it. The food in the restaurant was good and breakfast was delicious and hot. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Unfortunately the downside is our room was over the restaurant and the music well the bass is easily heard. It went off at 10.15 the first night and after 10.40 our second. I am noise sensitive and most people wouldn't have a problem. Why do they have to have music played for breakfast? How lovely to have a KS bed..but this mattress was not for me far to soft and bouncy. However others may love it.

My husband and I had stayed in this inn a few years ago but since then it has undergone a complete refurbishment and it looks lovely. Our room was very comfortable and in particular the shower room’s makeover looks great. We stayed five nights and my breakfast was consistently good as was the dinner we had. At all times the staff were friendly and helpful.

It didn’t bother us but there is a very steep and narrow staircase up to the rooms. Obviously, as it’s an old inn , there is nothing that can be done about it but it wouldn’t suit everyone.

Just about Everything!! Comfortable Cosy room, comfy beds, great TV, well decorated, Fabulous Bathroom with amazing Shower, Bradley and ALL his staff were amazingly friendly, Nothing was too much trouble, the whole Pub was SPOTLESS and well situated for Visiting North Norfolk. Free Parking on site, good WiFI. Restaurant and Food was Fantastic, great choice on menu for Evening Meals, GLUTEN FREE and Dairy Free Catered for Very well, happy to adapt menus on most meals to suit GF and DF. Great Breakfast, with all good Produce.. We will definitely be going back next year for Longer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Only 1 very minor little Gripe...could do with more teabags and More sugars on hospitality tray instead of all the speciality teas, but that's all.

The hospitality of all the staff was exceptional. Our room again was both spotlessly clean, very spacious (Room n°3) & comfortable & given it faced directly onto the road the noise from the traffic was minimal. Food wise both breakfast & evening meals were of a very high standard. It's location was perfect for exploring the area, which included Norwich, Yarmouth the Norfolk Broads plus many more. What was also a bonus was the bus service both north & south every 15mins with just a 2mins walk from the Plough to the bus stops both ways to & from Marsham. Certainly will return for another stay at the Plough.

Nothing at all!! Simply nothing to fault as per our comments above.

We got an upgrade to a family suite. The room had been recently decorated with a stunning new bathroom. The food was delicious, lovely breakfast on offer and we also dined there every evening during our stay.

There was a mix up over our bill, I'd told them I had already paid for the stay via booking.com but I got charged again! I didn't find this out until my invoice was emailed to me. I phoned them to let them know the mistake and I got an apology but the refund still hasn't gone into my account.

The Inn was a little gem in a quaint village called Marsham on the way to Cromer . My room was a twin room. It was great all mod cons and had recently been refurbished. Vast contrasts with low beams and powerful rain showers. The bar had lots of different gins to try and varied menu. I chose beer battered fish and chips.. The portion was huge and tasted amazing. I must thank both Bradley and Sophie who rustled me up an early breakfast before my early start home. I will definitely stay again .

There are no negative comments. Everything was great.

We could not fault the Plough Inn. The Manager, Toby, was very friendly and helpful as were all the staff. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We had evening meal which was excellent, I had the salmon which was the best I have ever tasted. There was a good choice of meals and it was very reasonably priced. Having sampled the food the previous evening we were not surprised at the good breakfast we had in the morning. All in all, we would definitely recommend the Plough Inn and would stay there again when in the area.

I have stayed at the Plough on a number of occasions over the past couple of years and each time the experience has been superb. The Plough is a great place to stay and dine. The staff are both friendly and professional. The quality of the food both for dinner and breakfast is excellent . The rooms I have stayed in are always clean ans very tidy and there is also free guest wifi. I would recommend the plough to anyone and can I pass on my thanks to everyone for making our stay a real pleasure
