Knights Court

Room was very clean and well presented... lovely comfortable bed, sofa and bathroom was compact but great.. Breakfast was great with a good choice... have to mention the extras, fruit and the fantastic muffins and scones all freshly baked... every day my husband and I commented on how much we enjoyed it... We had dinner the last evening we stayed... everything was lovely from the garlic mushrooms and garlic bread, the cod and beer batter was huge with lovely chunky chips, mushy peas and homemade tartar sauce... Bakewell tart for dessert was totally tasty and I felt it would be rude not to try it... The owners and every single member of staff made us feel so welcome and we loved the quirkiness of the place with great attention to detail... everyone simply promotes the hotel with a smile - well done to all...

There was nothing really that we did not like ...

We stayed here for 4 nights and were absolutely blown away! The building is absolutely beautiful and this reflects on the inside too. Quirky decor was fantastic and the room didn’t disappoint either. A lovely view over the venetian gardens and sea. This hotel does the best breakfast you’ll ever have! The full English is a must and also the continental! The endless supply of fruit,juices and freshly baked muffins/scones is just phenomenal. We the had an evening meal and was once again bowled over by the quality and taste! Three courses later and we could only manage our way to the bar. The bar area is lovely and would cater for most tipples. A special mention of all of the staff who are genuinely the nicest, friendliest and happy bunch. I dont think we have ever stayed anywhere and felt so welcomed! We will be returning as soon as we can.

the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much for them. great choice of breakfast and plenty of it. ideal location, short walk to main attractions and the whole place was lovely and clean. having a bar is a nice touch if you want a quiet night in, the whole place as a relaxed comfortable vibe. rooms are spacey, tea and coffee facilities, bath and hand towels included, plenty of storage too. the food was delicious, my husband said their chocolate brownie was the best he’s ever had. truly though the staff make this place wonderful and would return for that very reason

the bed wasn’t very comfortable for me and my husband, we had bad backs, however I don’t fault the hotel for this, everyone has different needs mattress wise and you could never cater for everyone

The hotel is lovely as a very homely feel it is extremely clean and comfortable . Malcolm / James / Amanda and all the staff are very friendly and look after you 100% .and are always on hand to help with where to eat and visit. The breakfast is superb top quality produce and cooked to perfection and lots of it . A really nice touch on my birthday and chorus of happy birthday and a candle in my sausage made my day. Room 14 with the sea view and balcony was the icing on the cake . Thank you so much Knights Court see you soon

super friendly staff; great location close to the Venetian Waterways Park and the beach; free parking in front of the house; delicious breakfast; nice bar; nice view from the seaview rooms; 15-20 min walking distance to the market/city centre; very comfortable bed

It's irrelevant 9 out of 12 months of the year, but we were here in December and unfortunately our room was very cold - the main heater seemed to have an energy saving setting where it turned off automatically at midnight, which was inconvenient; the electric heater on the wall turned off after a minute, and the bathroom heater didn't seem connected. All of this made for a frosty 15 degree room experience, which in the winter is not nice (gladly the bed was comfortable and thick enough to not feel cold under the blanket).

Close to town ,they have a bar , rooms were clean, and staff helpful

There we not enought gluten free or dairy free options everyone was getting cakes and muffins at breakfast and I felt a little.left out as they didn't travel options for me ... 8 still had to pay the same as everyone else (they did make a effort to put gluten free biscuits in our room) but no milk options for the tea and coffee station. Also we did stand around waiting quite a bit to be served at the bar, seemed a little under staffed But other wise a great visit x x x x

Everything went well. We were able to park easily, we were greeted in such a friendly manner and all the hotel staff were wonderful throughout our whole stay. The hotel was lovely, welcoming and had everything we needed, it was full of interesting things to look at and perfectly located right opposite the Waterways with a walk along one straight road to everything else we wanted to do in Great Yarmouth. We had a sea view from our room, coded entry meant we didn't need to carry a key and the breakfast served in the morning was absolutely top class.

I honestly cannot fault this hotel in any way.

We loved everything about this hotel, the breakfast was superb served by happy smiley faces, loved the muffins and the scones melted in your mouth. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and bright and warm as toast. Lots of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and cookie's replenished every day. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a great one and will see you all again sometime this year. Also thank you James for the book you loaned me I learnt alot from it. 😊

There was nothing negative at all.

The location was perfect for us-not too close to the"kissmequick hat" locations but close enough to walk to beach/Venetian gardens/pubs and restaurants. The room had everything we needed, the bathroom was fit for purpose, we would have liked more pressure in the shower, but that's possibly beyond the control of the hotel. We didn't eat meals there, but the breakfasts were good. Plenty of choice, ample amounts, well cooked.

We couldn't find anything to fault our stay, and if we visited Yarmouth again, we would try Knight's Court first.

Room was spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. The staff were incredible both friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the 3 course dinner was cooked superbly. Honestly it's one of the nicest places we've been lucky enough to stay in. perfect for a little weekend getaway.

Great Yarmouth as a destination leaves a little to be desired. most of the advice on where to go or what to see seemed to centre on leaving the town as quickly as possible! In terms of the hotel the only negative I can think of is not being able to provide an espresso after dinner, so not much really.
