Welcoming, bright and clean, attentive staff. Good choice at breakfast. Room was good size, good furnishings, bathroom similar. Wifi seemed reliable and fast enough for browsing/ email (didn't try streaming). As far as hotel and staff goes, all was excellent. BUT see 'Didn't like'.

I'm sorry to have a downside, but things outside of hotel control - the hotel is on flight path to Manchester Airport, and hence noisy at times. Flights were supposed to stop by midnight, but they didn't (one at 03.30 for example), and road traffic begins 06.30 or so. Apologies to the hotel for this post, it undermines their excellent product. Other hotels in the area will have same problem, not just this one.

Lovely renovated property that was impeccably maintained. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Lounge area and restaurant were lovely and large for a boutique hotel. The staff was amazing and sooo nice. We were able to get our room ready early so we could sleep off some jetlag. The restaurant has an award winning chef from Italy, and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast was hot to order and the perfect portions, and tasty too. The staff were so polite, and obviously established in their roles (not temporary staff) which is so rare these days. The location is a 20£ ride from the airport and in a lovely quiet neighborhood. We had a nice walk to the nearby park and had some tea and cookies there. Highly recommendable place!

There was very little to dislike. I think the only issue was that breakfast was only available for 1 hour, but it was fine for us.

We have stayed here twice a month for the last 9 months. Each stay has been as good as expected. The breakfasts are freshly cooked to order and use great quality produce. The cleanliness of the rooms is always perfect. The rooms vary in size but each one we have had, has been comfortable and well appointed with the furnishings one requires. The staff are helpful and welcoming. there is plenty of safe parking at the property.

Light sleepers may be woken by the early morning flights as the flightpath is overhead, but you do get quickly used to it. Not the hotels fault!

Very cute, the location is very nice, close to loads of parks and not too far from Stockport station (20 min walk approx) so was easy for me to get into Manchester central. Very good facilities in the room: the ironing board, tea/coffee station, comfortable bed and very clean room. The guy who checked me in was super sweet and friendly as well as all the other staff members I had interacted with. I work in hospitality myself so it was nice to be a guest for once.

It’s a little strange that breakfast service is only 1 hour and really early in the morning. I really love my sleep so I didn’t wake up on time for breakfast but that’s okay.

Our stay was primarily a stopover after four weeks touring the UK. The accommodation was ideally located for the purpose of flying out of Manchester Airport which was only twenty minutes away. The staff were excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Only downside was the accommodation was directly under the flight path but this didn't bother us and we were able to sleep quite comfortably during the night. No air conditioning and we had to sleep with the fan on. Well we were in the UK and the two day were the hottest in our whole stay.

The hotel is spotless comfortable room with lots of facilities kettle iron , ironing board, hair dryer tv wifi Bed was comfy. Also attention to detail was excellent even little bottles of shower gel and shampoo. Coffee tea and biscuits 😋 The breakfast was fabulous cereal juice yoghurt full English very nice and very fresh.

The only downer for me was that you couldn't book in the hotel until 3pm bit late and also breakfast was only from 8 till 9.30 so no chance of a lie in just in extra 30min would make a big difference.

The service was top notch, from the front desk to the bar and restaurant The on site restaurant served excellent food at a good price. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Manchester area

My only slight complaint, and it isn't very important, was that the hot water for the shower took AGES to appear. I had to wait maybe 15 minutes in the evening before the shower was warm enough to get into, and early the next morning I waited 20 minutes and still ended up taking a cold shower. There's probably nothing that can be done about it, but a suggestion would be that the staff let their guests know ahead of time that the hot water takes a long time to appear so that guests can run the water well ahead of when they need to shower. This is a very minor complaint and in no way should make future guests hesitant to stay here.

Breakfast was good. The dining facilities for our group were good. The hotel was clean and managed well. We had no issues while we were there. The room was changed after the first night as we had one next to a busy road.

The busy road kept us awake for quite a while. The bar seating , although adequate couldn’t fit all out party in one room. The steps at the front of the building into the reception were difficult for wheelie cases. Perhaps a ramp would help

I had to book this at short notice after Holiday Inn cancelled my booking prior to lying from Manchester on holiday. Was greeted at reception and booked in swiftly. The staff throughout were excellent and friendly and made time for a chat if you wanted it. We dined in the in house restaurant which was also frequented by local families, was obviously a go to place and food was excellent. As we were leaving for an early flight before breakfast we were offered, without prompting a packed lunch, which was gratefully accepted and proved very useful in the current check-in chaos. I usually book big chain on airport hotels which tend to be full and somewhat impersonal. I will definitely rethink my plans in the future.

I couldn't really fault anything with our stay.

The warm welcome of all staff they appeared to be genuinely pleased to see us. The food in the restaurant was excellent, with the chef coming to talk to us about the menu choice and to see if we liked it. Breakfast included and plenty of choice. The room was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable. Family run since the 1980s it has a good reputation in the area. Have family in this area so would definately stay there again.
