Hyatt House Manchester

The hotel-apartment concept works really nicely, the breakfast was excellent, and even though it was a busy weekend, my room was a very quiet space with a stunning view.

A couple of small things: The width of the reception desk seemed small for the three work stations that were in use. This makes it feel crowded, loud, and not very private… and this takes away from what would otherwise be a more premium experience. The lifts seem to operate independently from each other, so if both call buttons are pressed, both lifts come to your floor! It wasn’t an issue during my stay, but on busy mornings / evenings it could be.

Clean sleek minimalistic look of the lobby and reception. Music selection at the breakfast, calming. Non dairy products choice was fantastic. Lastly, the view from our room on the 12th floor was stunning. Extra stars for the safety in the hotel. We traveled with our cat and I would like to highlight one thing, that room was safe/cat proof. We take our cat on our trip regularly and we had some issues before- like holes in the room etc where she wasn’t safe. Hyatt was absolutely top class for cat safety- well done and thank you

It was my 2nd time staying at this hotel, and I like everything about it. The location, the view, and the staff were amazing. Breakfast, as usual, was really nice, a variety of choices, and presented nicely. We were placed on a higher floor this time around, and the view is truly nice. You have a lot of restaurants and shops around, so you won't be out of options if you don't want to cook. I will definitely go back to this hotel.

On the first night, we were a little cold, but we contacted reception, and they sent someone to have a look at the heating, and it was fixed. The board cutter was not clean, so we couldn't use it, unfortunately, but it was a minor issue.

The breakfast was amazing, so many different options to choose from and the hotel caters for halal food which was a bonus. The room was a lot bigger than I expected it to be. The bed was comfortable which is always one of the main points. There were 2 TVs available for us. Shower was good, staff were amazing so friendly and helpful.

The only downside I would say is there were not enough dishes in the apartment for us to use, but even that is a personal preference nothing wrong with what was available.

The staff were all excellent, hotel, bar, breakfast, view.

There was a smell coming from the shower and the drainage was poor in shower and sink. Wasn’t a major issue and smell went away when shower was on. informed the hotel on departure. 30 min walk to the centre. I made an error thinking the hotel was on Booth Street and didn’t realise it was Booth Street West when booking through booking.com. This isn’t the hotels fault but meant the hotel was a bit further from where I wanted to be so a 30 min walk or taxi is needed to deansgate etc The walk was fine if the weather is good enough though, less so at the end of a boozy night out where we used uber instead.

Best high-class aparthotel located near the Alliance Manchester Business School. The stay was important for me as I was in my highly-intensive revision period for my exam on the 23rd of August: the room was spacious, wide and extremely tidy and located on a fabulous location being a couple of feet away from the free 24-hours laundry room with effective washers and dryers which renewed my clothes for me. More importantly, I’ve been able to see the beautiful sunrise directly from my bedside window on my right when I got up every morning. There were two very spacious large tidy tables as well as fabulous warm lighting in the living room which helped me with improving my productivity greatly. The bedroom was so spacious and tidy that I’ve been feeling greatly relaxed and enjoyed a few nights of high-quality curing sleep. The en-suite bathroom was clean with a bath tub allowing me to enjoy the hot spring feeling from my childhood. The kitchen facilities in my room were all functioning well, reducing my traveling burdens. I tried to access digital resources in my university and the WiFi was smooth.

I’d sincerely expect their team to improve the stove to make it easier to use, due to the fact that the buttons on the stove were sometimes hard to press to start the stove.

Everything you want in a hotel room but so much more. Hotel rooms can be a bit depressing but arriving back to this space was exceptional. The added bonus of being able to make a cup of coffee or heat a meal in a kitchen area is an absolute bonus if you're a solo traveller and don't really like sitting in a restaurant on your own. There was also the added benefit of being able to order off a room service menu too.

It was our second time staying at the Hyatt house. The first time was back in January 2020 for my first week of MBA and this time was for graduation. It was just the same as before. We love this place. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast and nice staff. One evening we had a reservation at the bar but ended up a bit late with more people for dinner. The team was very quick to squeeze us in.

We were provided a discount voucher for drinks as we came in for my graduation ceremony and this was not applied to our bar tab. Other than that it has been a great stay.

Hotel was very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a room with a kitchenette which was large and roomy. There was everything we needed. The breakfast choice was expansive and very nice indeed!!! We loved it and would return if ever in Manchester.

Nothing as all was good. Perhaps lids on all of the hot food at breakfast as the lovely hash browns and beans were a little cold. Only a very minor comment.

i think breakfast was great, i enjoyed being able to sit by the large windows and just enjoy a quiet breakfast, our room was small compared to what i was used to but also quite cozy.

i think response time to issues could be better, we had a problem, the sockets around the kitchenette were not working, took a while to get anyone to come check it out.
